I want to loose my weight. It will increase day by day. How can I loose my weight suggest me something.
I understand your concern because, this kind of extra weight is breeding ground for many diseases (blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, certain kind of cancers, arthritis etc), which can affect the quality of your life ahead. This is a lifestyle related issue and it can be surely treated with intensive lifestyle modification program. Most people who are fat are made to feel that it is because you lack will power, you are lethargic and a weak person. But that is definitely not true. It is your your hormones which have made you fat and keeping you fat. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term. Most diet fails because they are low calorie and low fat. Instead of correcting metabolism, they make you feel low energy or makes you feel excessively hungry. If you are doing regular exercise, it will increase your fitness but it may not reduce weight much. Calorie counting is useless. If you want to count, count nutritional value of food in terms of protein, fiber, good fat etc. I am sure you did not gain this much weight suddenly but over a period of time. To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works (moves your weight in right direction) then continue. If you have tried this in past or if it does not work, then approach us for weightloss package of 6 months by lifestyle modification - combination of individualized nutritional plan, stress management, exercise prescription for your current fitness level and sleep improvement, (if required). 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. I am suffering from Constipation for 6 months. I am doing basic exercise like walking, sit ups,crunches etc, but I am not able find a solution for it. From I am planning diet like in the morning I am taking salads like carrots, reddish, Guava, Banana, Orange etc. And do regularly eat Jowar Roti in the night n Whole wheat grain Chapati in the morning and afternoon. Hi Make a powdered preparation of dried ginger root, long pepper, black pepper, and black salt in equal quantities. Have 1 teaspoon of this mixture at bedtime with lukewarm water and 2 to 3 teaspoons of psyllium husk. Take pranacharya virechan churna or triphala churna 1 tsf in warm water before sleep at night. Take chitrakadi vati 1- tab after lunch and dinner. Take 5-7 munakkas with milk. Eat papaya in fruits .avoid tea. Coffee.spicy food. Fermented food. Junk food. Avoid alcohol consumption.

Hi Sir, My son is 6.5 years old, he often gets stomach ache with burps. He can't eat most of the vegetables and most of the food items. He eats only very few vegetables like spinach, amarnath leaves, bottle gourd, ridge gourd, carrot. If he eats peas, cucumber he gets sneezing. He can't eat guava and amla he gets green discharge from nose with cold symptoms. He can't take any dairy products, milk causes bloating curd and other milk products causes cough and throat phlegm. He is underweight. He takes junior lanzol 15 mg twice and Sucrafil 500 mg thrice when he falls sick. Please advise how to overcome these issues and help my son lead normal healthy life.

Hi It seems as a parent you are suffering from lot of food fads. Cough and cold in young children are not related to food. I know that it is hard to turn around the deep seated belief that some cold food is causing him coughing and sneezing. Guava, Amla and other citrus fruits are great source of vitamin c that will protect him from seasonal cough cold. If milk cause bloating it is extremely necessary to give him other milk products viz curd, paneer, cheese etc to get adequate calcium. Get over these food fads, Give him everything to eat. He will grow out of cough, cold if he is well nourished. Even 6-7 episodes of cough cold in a year doesn't harm children in long run. But poor nutrition will definitely. If he gets sneezing, cough very frequently enough to make him feeling sick andrestrict his play, school etc then only you need to be worried. Get him to a pediatrician for evaluation to know if he has any allergies causing cough and sneezing and accordingly will be treated. Common cold is very common that's why it's named common cold. You need tablets to control b. P. Mediation will help your frustration. Exercise. Plenty of vegetables and fruits. Low salt and sugar. Blood lipids test. Regular check will ensure long life.

DEAR Lybrate USER. You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. …. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day …2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits …6) avoid coffee and tea…. A) take 30ml of triphala juice and 10 ml of honey early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 2-2 tablets of lakshyadi guggul and vasantkusumakar rasa early in the morning on empty stomach with triphala juice…. C) take 10 gm of black cumin seeds along with 10 gm of jiggery after meals…. D) apply equal quantity mixture of fresh lemon juice and aloe vera juice on the roots of hairs…. Leave it for 30-45 minutes…. After that wash hairs with ROOTZ SHAMPOO (rajah ayurveda)…… do all things for 30 days. These things are much more effective. Consult to me for further suggestion. THANKS.

Add 20 minutes of exercise per day. If you're on a diet, you're probably already working out a couple of times a week. (No? Well, you should start!) But whether you exercise or not, you can get a leg up on all those other weight-loss wannabes by doing a little something extra each day. Take the stairs instead of the elevator; walk to the bus, train, or all the way to the office; window-shop with your best friend rather than sit over coffee. Taking the dog out, gardening and even housecleaning all increase the number of calories you expend. You don't have to go for a jog (although that would help!) to speed up weight loss. Twenty minutes of moderate exercise a day means you'll burn approximately 700 calories.
