I am feeling partial numbness on my right toe from last 15 days. I had a long drive just before that and that cause. Numbness on almost on foot but that gone away after few hrs and that is usual. I detected with pre diabetic last year but with few changes that recovered.

Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. In case it continues consult a acupuncture/acupressure dr. In your place. Also take calcium tablets for a limited period 2 months.

First of all you need proper awareness regarding posture that how to sit, stand and work properly. Secondly check out your mattress which should be little bit firm not so hard or soft. Thirdly take towel then roll it sharply and put at your back (lumbar area) horizontally while lying in supine position for 15 minutes. You can go for hot water fomentation as well for 15 minutes too.

Several things can be done to prevent cold: -Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. -Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough. -Get plenty of rest/sleep.Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. -Drink plenty of fluids(veg/tomato soups,dal water/coconut water/herbal tea etc), and eat nutritious food(like sprouts/boiled eggs without yolk with milk). Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine -Treatment:A cold usually lasts for a week or two. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn't need medical treatment. -Gargle to keep from getting a sore throat.Take only lukewarm water to drink during the day -Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation. -Tablet nasorest-p once/twice daily may ease breathing. -Do steam inhalation once or twice daily. -Complications like infections of ears, throat, sinuses or lungs must be treated with antibiotics. -Cough- For dry cough.Take syrup Alex-D.(1 tsp thrice daily) -Productive cough:it brings up mucus from behind the throat or lungs.Use syrup Alex. -Get chest xray done if cough lasts for more than a week and consult doctor immediately. -Head and Body Aches- Take tablet dolo-650 mg for fever once or twice daily

Hi I am 25 year old female. I hve acl grade ii signal legament injury from last 7 months. As doctor prescribed me for some excerise but no satisficatry results. Some advised me for physiotherapy. Is it helpful and for how many times I should take. What is the solution and should I go for surgery?

Adv. Mri of your knee. Further treatment will be decided after wards you can try rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Well renal stone can lead to a severe pain from your lower flank region on one side going towards your groin region. So if you are having that kind of pain, please consult your urologist. But you should not be having any knee pain because the pain will not go till there. Anyways get your urologist opinion done and let me know, I can advise you from an orthopaedic point of view for your back pain and associated knee pain. Weakness may leave you without energy to carry out day-to-day activities, drowsy or tired, sluggish, and uninterested. Other symptoms include excessive sweating, loss of appetite, difficulty concentrating, and difficulty falling asleep. You can feel weak due to lack of essential nutrients, not getting enough sleep, a weak immune system, excessive drinking, skipping meals, emotional stress, and too much physical labor. Persistent weakness can be caused by health problems like anemia, arthritis, hypothyroidism, a sleep disorder, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes and heart disease. In these cases, it is very important to find out the exact cause behind your weakness. To feel energetic and refreshed in life, you must exercise daily for at least 30 minutes, maintain your ideal body weight, follow a good diet, sleep properly, drink water throughout the day to keep your body hydrated, avoid alcohol and stop smoking. Whenever you feel weak, eat one or two bananas. You can also try a banana shake or smoothie. To help strengthen your body and keep from feeling weak, eat a ripe banana with one tablespoon of honey twice daily. Soak two almonds, one dried fig, and a few raisins in water overnight. In the morning, remove the almonds, figs and raisins and drink the water. Peel and eat the almonds, followed by the fig and raisins. Also, carry roasted almonds with you and whenever you feel fatigue or weak, eat some to get instant energy. Whenever you have weakness, drink a cup of warm milk with one teaspoon of honey mixed in it. You can also boil two to three figs in one cup of milk. Eat the boiled figs and drink the milk to gain strength. Alternatively, add one teaspoon of clarified butter to a glass of warm milk. Drink it twice daily to cure weakness caused by excessive loss of blood. Also known as amla, indian gooseberry is a highly nutritious fruit that can improve your energy level. It is a good source of vitamin c, calcium, protein, irons, carbohydrates, and phosphorous. Simply eating one indian gooseberry daily can strengthen a weak immune system.

Back Pain . Advice…. Hot Fomentation x twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction. Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily Bhujang Asana x 15 timesx twice daily Core Strengthening Exercises. Back Stretching.

Hi, It may be due to diabetic neuropathy. Take a course of B12 injections intrmuscularly, weekly twice for 3 weeks. Apply Aswagandha bala taila to the legs and massage for 10-15 mins. Later take hot water fomentation. This improves the blood circulation and reduces the pain and tingling sensation.

Dear lybrate-user, namaskar, it seems that his joints have stiffened due to paralysis earlier. He should be subjected to physiotherapy regimen at least for 4-6 weeks. Also such patients are depressed. So should be given antidepressant treatment and psychological support. Take care.

Dear keep on changing your position frequently and do some stretching exercises after every 45minutes. Drink lots of water nowadys. Make sure your back is supported back of your seat. Avoid bending forward while sitting. Hope pain is not coming to your legs.
