Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

I am 27 years old man. I have back pain after walking and I feel tired with back pain after I walk for long distance. I have back pain in the morning as well. My face and stomach are swollen, legs look normal. Do I have a problem in my kidney or do I have a back problem?

Do take an usg abdomen and kub to confirm kidney or related lesion. For back ache take ift and laser therapy for 12 days followed by strengthening exercise from neuro physio best wishes.

Hi lybrate-user tips for weight loss eat fresh vegetables daily. Avoid having sugar completely. Eat whole wheat bread instead of white bread; avoid everything made from white flour and make whole wheat bread, chapattis and brown rice a way of life. Do not skip a meal and eat three meals a day. Drink plenty of water to eliminate the toxins from the system. Limit your fat intake to 2-3 teaspoons a day. Increase the fiber intake as it provides a sense of fullness and also prevents hunger pangs. Take antioxidants for protecting the body against the toxins released during weight loss. Exercise catalyzes your efforts to lose weight and even regular walking for thirty minutes can give you the benefits of an aerobics exercise. To improve the metabolism, try increasing the duration, frequency, intensity of your daily workout. Remember that maintaining the ideal weight is a lifetime commitment and not a short-term affair. Firmly believe that the pleasure of being trim and healthy is far better than the pleasure of eating unwisely.

Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem or may be Migraine Headache kindly follow advises given below: you can take(If No drug allergy) : 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error 4. We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis This problem can be solved by Meditation i can give you address of rajyoga meditation center near your house (this is free of cost) consult physician for further management.

it could be due pain in the patellofemoral joint. usually at this age it can be due to softening of the lining cartilage of this joint (chondromalacia patella). try losing some weight and also do quadriceps strengthening exercises. avoid sitting on the floor and using Indian closet

Hello Doctor, I did a huge mistake to my mate which ruined us. My girl is a matured lady which thinks broadly about everything. A few months back I didn't know why I felt insecure with my mate which brought a feeling'what if she leaves make to overcome the feeling, I created a fake chat of my Ex-girlfriend mentioning that she wants to talk to me. I sent that to my mate. According to me, the reason why I did is so that she wouldn't leave me anyway. A few days back, my mate came to know about the fake chat and felt heart broken. Because she trusted and Loved me so much that any other person. With this situation, she lost the trust in me and wants to end the relationship. I manipulated her for the love sake but Im not a cheater to cheat for another girl. And now she gave me a second chance to my prove myself that I ve changed. Honestly, Im trying very hard and calm for that. But the situation of the fake chat, she keeps thinking about that which is making her to get into worst situation and making to ruin the relationship. I don't want her to suffer because of me. She asked me some time to forget about the past, but nothing is working. I shouldn't have done that fake chat thing to her. Im regretting myself. Please help me how to solve this problem I am in stress. Thanks in advance.

Good evening madam lybrate-user ji well as far as I understand you are suffering from ankle swelling after working in standing position well what you require is a physical examination by an orthopaedician or a rheumatologist who would get some radiological and lab test ex serum uric acid etc done to arrive at a firm opinion as to what is the cause of your problems and rectify it appropriately till that time you may wear lycra compression stockinette which prevent swelling.

Dear Lybrate user, You may do the following exercises. Chair knee extension: Sitting in a chair, rest your foot on another chair so the knee is slightly raised. Gently push the raised knee toward the floor using only leg muscles. Hold for 5 - 10 seconds and release. Repeat 5 times on each leg. Heel slide knee extension: Lie on your back, with left knee bent and left foot flat on floor. Slowly slide the left heel away from your body so both legs are parallel. Hold for 5-10 seconds, return to starting position. Repeat 5 times on each leg. Knee flexion: Sitting in a chair, loop a long towel under your foot (resting on the floor). Gently pull on the towel with both hands to bend the knee, raising your foot 4 - 5 inches off the floor. Hold for 5 - 10 seconds, then release. Repeat 5 times on each leg. Hamstring stretch: Standing, put one foot in front of you, toes up. With hands on the small of your back (or one hand holding a chair for balance), bend the opposite knee and hip (not your lower back), until you feel the hamstrings stretch. The upper body comes forward at the hip. Hold for 5 -10 seconds, then release. Repeat 5 times on each leg.
