I am suffering from belly fat, high cholesterol (290) & diabetes (160 fasting) and my age is 38 years & weight 87 kg. What should be done to reduce all dis things? Pls guide.

1. Consider this as a health emergency, and alter your food habits and lifestyle immediately. 2. You are still in the range where positive healthy changes to your habits can bring these parameters down to a manageable level and you will not have to take medicines. 3. Diabetes is a serious health malady that can effect every organ of your body from eyes to toe. Do not take these test results lightly 4. Reduce weight by at least 10 kgs by better diet and you will see a reduction in sugar and cholesterol both. 5. Better to consult a dietician who can help you with a customised diet program to reduce weight + reduce sugar and cholesterol. 6. Take action at the earliest and take charge of your health 7. You need to take full responsibility for your body, your choices and your health.

Increase in weight is because of your sedentary lifestyle. Follow these steps: exercise for 30-40 mins daily. Cut down your daily calories. Avoid oily/sugary, packed processed food. Drink 3-4 ltrs of water daily. Sleep for 6-7 hours daily. Avoid stress.

Hi lybrate-user to reduce belly fat you need to be particular about food choices & timings. Eat small & frequent meals. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses. Drink plenty of water. Avoid refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Keep check on your food intake.

Do you mean face is becoming fat? for pimples you can wash your face with warm water and take steam on face. Never pinch pimples. Avoid oily foods.

Hello doctor. My mother suffered in heart problem, she conserved the doctor, then the doctor says small hole in the heart valve and she is very fat also. The doctor says reduce the weight is quickly because it will allow the heart attack very easily. She has take diet also, she will take oat's continuously in breakfast. So how to she reduce the weight, place give suggest this problem, then it will help to safe my mother's life.

She can eat healthy food without starving. No fats or sugars , lots of salads minus salt , fresh fruits , a glass of toned milk & curd , an egg (if she can take ) Remember dieting after a certain age is difficult because one cannot exercise as much as a young lady , secondly digestion gets weak with time , bones hollow due to less calcium. Something advised for young may not work and be practical for her , but oats as you have mentioned she is taking are good for all age groups. She may not loose weight so quickly and it is not wise to wait for heart valve surgery ,it should be done at the earliest. simultaneosly make dieting a habit for her.

You are over wt, diabetic & dyslipidemia. A bad combination for heart attack in future. Take care of your bw by eating healthy, fibrous food less quantity just to live to eat not live to eat. Take regular medicines for sugar & cholesterol regularly, avoid party foods. Do exercise, swimming regularly.

I am suffering from over weight problem and I need a simple diet to follow for weight loss.
Hi, I give a perfect and customise diet plan to my client who really wants to lose weight. I would suggest you to follow our 2 months weight loss program wherein we can help you reduce 6-8 kgs surely if you ll follow the diet chart very seriously. It will be very easy, simple and balanced diet. And also ill ensure that I give you such food items to eat which gives more promising results. 1) Please have 1 Table spoon Chia seeds soaked overnight in 1 small glass water empty stomach everyday. 2) Start having 1 spoon jeera boiled in 1 glass water fr 5 mins- Every morning empty stomach 15 minutes after having chia seeds. 3) Start Green tea with pinch of cinnamon powder post lunch and dinner. 4) Stroll 20 minutes both after lunch and dinner 5) Have early dinner around 7: 30-8 pm maximum. 6) Dinner should mostly be 2-3 pcs Grilled Chicken with salad or 2 full eggs salad or 2 small besan cheelas or Sprouts chaat, again depends on lot of other details too which are not possible to discuss in this consultation package. - To Lose Weight permanently. 1. First decide that you are aiming to be fit for life. - 2.There is no short term health plan. 3. Believe that you can achieve it step by step. 4. Take 40-60 mins daily for active fitness routines like Cardio etc. - 5. Cut down oils/sugar/maida/fried stuff from your diet. 6. Eat a 1600 cal diet daily. 7. Follow 'Mindful method' of eating. 8. Eat more of fruits, vegetables and salads. 9. Love yourself and respect your body. - 10. Every step makes a difference. So start today.
