Follow this simple food formula. Divide your food plate in 3 portions. 50%, 25% & 25%. 50% should be filled with fruits in morning and salad/steamed veggies in afternoon and night. 25% can be cooked curries, lentils etc. And remaining 25% can be rice/wheat based foods or other grains/millets. Have almost negligible packed & processed foods made of flour, oil, sugar & dairy.

Do regular exercise like yoga, swimming, skipping, plank, push up, sit ups. Eat small amount of foods frequently. Avoid fast foods, junk foods, processed foods. No sugar. Sweetened juice, fruit juice, cola, soft drinks. Take whole fruit, watery vegetables, whole wheat, whole grain, oats. Eat protein more, it will help in weight loss and in build muscle. Use healthy fat small amount. Drink lots of water specially before meals. Use lukewarm water 5 mins after meals. Drink lukewarm water with lemon juice on an empty stomach in the morning. Adequate sleep and stress free life.

Get blood cbc, thyroid tests free t3 t4 tsh. Blood sugar f/pp, lipid profile, get bp checked do 1.no alcohol 2. Reduce body wt 3. No smoking/ tobacco 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. Less sugar, potato, rice 5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 7..6-8 hrs of sleep at night 8. Expose your body to sun for 15-20 mts daily after some oil massage to get vit d. 9. Take more water Medicine can not be advised for open question ,for medicine contact on private chat.

No, regular alcohol conception causes weight gain. Alcohol is the second highest calorie rich substance after fats. Don't go by industry sponsored articles, as they cannot advertise alcohol, so they try to change public opinion like this. Why else would it be mandatory to put health warning on liquor bottles? If you search for bad effects of alcohol also you will find many.

Belly fat increases due to minimal physical work and eating processed carb rich food. We keep on eating certain foods thinking they are not unhealthy. But they are actually unhealthy, like - white sugar, refined flour (maida) & oil. When we cook something or even eat a biscuit, it contains either or all three of these hidden unhealthy foods. Eating 1 biscuit gives calories more than you can burn in a 30 mins walk. But we do not think much before eating these foods. Most of our packed and home made snack foods are culprit for increase in belly fat. Replace these with natural foods like fruits, salad and nuts.

Your answer is in your question itself. Not eating is causing you to gain more and more weight. The solution to your weight issues is to eat sensibly. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

Eat a high-protein breakfast. Avoid sugary drinks and fruit juice. Drink water a half hour before meals. Choose weight loss-friendly foods (see list. Eat soluble fiber. Drink coffee or tea. Eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods. Eat your food slowly.

Atkeast 30 min. Work out is a must. Rip inning/jogging whenever you find time in the day/eve/night. Diet is the main focus after workout. -in the morning, take one glass hot lemon water with honey 8: 00 a. M. -take light breakfast like, poha/upma/plain idli /sandwich with one glass milk10: 00 a. M. -eat one fruit like banana/melon/apple 12: 00 -have butter milk and then take your meal.(eat either steamed rice or chapati, not both and eat lesser than you normally eat.) 2: 00 p. M. -take green tea 4: 00 p. M. -eat roasted chana/ khakhra, one digestive or marie biscuit with tea/coffee/bournvita/proteinex (you may add sugar if you feel the need) 6: 00 p. M. -eat dinner like boiled vegetables/baked vegetables/soup /khichdi (idea is to take dinner 3-4 hours before bed time) 8: 00 p. M. If you are starving with this diet, you can add few more healthy foods, but keep a gap of two hours in each. You may redo the timings with the same gap, according to your schedule.

Dear Dr. I was maintaining 72 kgs Of weight for so many years. Since 2008 to 2014 I was doing table work. So the weight increased to 87 kgs. Since then I am trying to reduce my weight / belly projection. I am now 62 years, 5’9” height & jobless for 3 years. As such I walk about 4 km everyday. I am more vigil in My diets. As far as possible, eat less salt, oil,sweets. As per my height I should weigh less than 69 kg. Kindly help me Best Regards I nee.

Your condition looks like that of central obesity. It mostly occurs due to sedentary lifestyle and lack of exercise along with improper dietary habits. Now once the metabolism has become impaired diet and exercise alone will not be sufficient. You will need Panchakarma and medicines to ensure that your metabolism improves and you start shedding the excess fat. If you are not able to reduce weight it may lead to diabetes and hypertension and related diseases.
