I just want to lose my weight so what should I do to lose my weight or to look slim and fit?
To reduce weight 1) do not eat for 3 hours before you go to sleep. Eating before going to bed is one of the main cause of rapid weight gain. 2) drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday. 3) eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 4) don't skip meals. 5) green tea help with weight loss, is by reducing appetite. 6) eat fresh fruits instead of fruit juices. Fruits are good source of fibre except banana mango, chiku. 7). At least half hour walk/day. All are common things but for definite result you need individual diet and exercise schedule. Itis also necessary to have proper diet plan along with the exercises.

It's OK to lose your wt. But. First you take treatment. For pcos. If your pcos gone wt will automatically reduced.

Go to gym or have some jogging in the morning...control ur diet...avoid junk food...omit 1/3 of ur food which ur taking now..check ur thyroid level..if ur weight increases day by day then u will face some major problem in future..

Your bmi is 27.1 which should be below 25. You r likely to be suffering from pcod. Primary objective of your treatment is weight reduction and maintain normal bmi of 18-25. This will regularize the monthly cycles and also help you get pregnant in future. You can take metformin to reduce weight. Also diet and jogging or brisk walk for 4-5 km daily will help. Diet should comprise of more protein (chicken, fish, pulses) low carbohydrate (rice) and low fat or oil and more vegetables.

Do regular exercise like brisk walking (at least), running, swimming etc. Avoid sedentary and lazy lifestyle. Mid morning- a glass of orange, pineapple or carrot juice. For more details consult me privately.

Hi lybrate-user hello as per your ht your weight is higher so you should consume more fibrous foods like whole grains, fruits, veggies, salads. Make sure water consumption is at least 2-3 lts or more s per sweating & weather conditions. Have small, frequent meals & chew properly & eat slowly. Do simple stretching exercises as warm up & simple walking for 20-30 mins everyday. Avoid jogging at present.

Hi lybrate-user - incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating.

I doing yoga every day from last 2 weeks and lost 2. 5kgs but want to reduce more. My schedule is:@ 6: 30 am - warm water with lemon and cinnamon. Then,@ 7: 45 - 8: 30 am yoga, till 9: 30 am breakfast, 10: 40 - 11: 00 am some cucumber or green tea, 2: 30 pm lunch,@ 4: 30 pm green tea with snacks at night around 8: 30 - 9: 30 pm dinner. I have hypothyroid, height is 152 cm and weight 76 kgs. Is there anything else I need to do to reduce my weight upto 25 kgs. Please suggest

You are over weight by 24-26 kg. I must congratulate you for following a very healthy diet pattern & doing exercise as well. Continue doing good job. Your diet needs more refinement & timings also needs to be corrected. What meals you take in lunch & dinner.
