As you age, your metabolism decreases leading to weight gain. Since you have a sitting job and being a woman, you are prone to put on weight near the stomach and hip areas as a woman is genetically designed to have a pear-shaped body. I advise you to join a gym and alternate between weight training and cardio to help build muscle mass and burn fat. Along with this, you need to eat a balanced diet with lots of fibre, greens, veggies, nuts, salads, curd, etc. Here is a diet plan for you: have a healthy breakfast to keep you going for the morning. Include items like oats porridge/ oats upma/ idli/ dosa. Between breakfast and lunch, have a fruit and a handful of nuts. In lunch, eat a portion of salad, a jowar/ragi chapatti with veggies, dal and a glass of buttermilk (chhaas). Keep your dinner light. You can have soup, salad, veggies/grilled chicken or fish. Avoid eating rotis or rice at night. Along with this, drink two-three cups of green tea every day and sleep well.

Hi! Start by following a good diet - Eat adequate amount of protein. Your hair is made up mainly of proteins. Include skimmed milk, cottage cheese, lentils. Vitamin C, Zinc and Vitamin B are other important nutrients for great hair health. So include lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your daily diet. Exercise daily to keep yourself healthy inside out. Next important step is to follow good hair care - Oiling your hair with a mixture of oils like olive, sesame, coconut and castor oil keeps provides moisture to your hair and prevent them from drying and breakage. Once in a week apply a good hair mask. You can mix and prepare different types of masks using green tea, olive oil, milk, gooseberry, thyme, chamomile etc. Condition your hair using organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Rosemary tea once in a while. Since some hair loss is temporary, your hair may grow back on its own without medical treatment. Hope this helps.

Chew 3-5 leaves of tulsi daily. Correct your diet. Eat dates, dry fruits on a daily basis. Sleep well. Gargle your mouth with lukewarm salt water 2-4 times a day.

Cholesterol - Cholesterol is a dense, fatty substance that found in every cell of your body. It circulates throughout your bloodstream in little bundles called lipoproteins, interior of its is composed of fat, while proteins forms the exterior walls.


 

Types of cholesterol -

1) Low density lipoproteins (ldl) - its considered as a bad cholesterol form, it enables cholesterol to create plaque that build up and harden on the walls of blood vessels.

2) High density lipoproteins (hdl) - it is the good cholesterol, because it helps to reduce ldl levels. Hdl helps to transport ldl cholesterol to your liver, which removes it from the body.

3) Triglycerides - another form of fat in your blood that can raise your risk for heart disease.

4) Very low density lipoproteins (vldl) - it is a type of blood fat. It's considered one of the bad forms of cholesterol, because this can clog your arteries and lead to a heart attack.


 

Causes / risk factors -

* cigarette smoking.

* food that contains highly saturated fat and cholesterol can raise your blood cholesterol levels.

* obesity.

* hereditary / genetic factors.

* lack of exercise / low physical activity.


 

Normal values of cholesterol in adults -

* total serum cholesterol - 130 - 250 mg/dl

* ldl - 60 - 160 mg/dl

* hdl - 30 -70 mg/dl or

* serum triglycerides - 0 - 170 mg/dl


 

Prevention and treatment of high cholesterol -

Lifestyle changes -

* exercise - do 30 - 45 minutes a day of moderate cardio. It will help s to lose weight and boosts your hdl levels.

* diet - eat more fibers, eat healthy fats i. E. Nuts, olive oil, avocado all have fats that won't increase your ldl, limit cholesterol intake, i. E. Reduce high saturated fat foods like cheese, whole milk, red meats. Choose fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, low fat or nonfat dairy products, fish, eat low salt diet.

* quit smoking, limit alcohol and caffeine consumption.

* do practice relaxation and breathing exercises.

* garlic - it helps to reduce high cholesterol. In the morning take a small piece of garlic and crush it and take with glass of water. The garlic contains allicin which helps to lower high blood pressure and prevents blood clotting.

* drink 8 - 10 glasses of water, per day.


 

Homeopathy treatment for high cholesterol - the goal of homeopathy is to lower high cholesterol to desired levels to prevent heart diseases.


 

1) Allium Sativum - for lowering high cholesterol + made from garlic, s so it helps in eliminating the excess cholesterol from the body by raising vitality of the patient + increased appetite, craving for meat + suffers from acidity symptoms.


 

2) Calcarea Carbonica - reduces high cholesterol in fat or overweight persons + excessive craving for boiled eggs + sensitiveness to cold air and continuous perspiration on scalp + palpitations also be complained at night or after having meals.


 

3) Crataegus Oxyacantha - acts as a tonic for heart muscles that have become weakened due to reduced blood supply to heart + dissolve the cholesterol deposits in arteries + difficulty in breathing after even the slightest exertion.

Your BMI is 34.5 which puts you in the obese category. You have to persist with a low carbohydrate and low fat high protien diet. Stop all cereal, sugar bakery products and desserts. Take the white of two boiled eggs and lots of fruits and green vegetables and salads. Go for an hour long walk every day. Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - * to gain weight, first take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calories food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of bournvita or complan powder with breakfast. * after 2 hours of breakfast, take 2 bananas or a bowl of boiled soyabeans. To increase your hunger & proper digestion of food - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after lunch * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. You can take 2 bowl of careals (moong/chana daal) on the place of curd or cheese. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 10-12 pieces of dry fruits or 3-4 pieces of dates (khajoor). * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. Exercise is very important so that muscles gain mass from the heathy diet. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Be healthy

Function of shampoo is to clean the scalp. Hair roots are situated inside the scalp and it gets nutrition through blood. Food which is rich in minerals, protein and iron are good for hair. Sprouts, beans, nuts, soya are excellent sources of protein. Green leafy vegetables proved iron. Drink 3 lit of water/day. Oil the scalp3/week and wash it 3/week. This will help to condition the scalp and clean the scalp respectively. Consult trichologist if hair fall persist.

A. Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B. At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea C. Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D. Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E. Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F. Evening (4-6 p. Dr. I am feeling always very very weak, when I do anything when I eat something I feel that someone mixed something wrong whenever I eat on any occasion, in house made food, I feel that someone mixed something in it and I think over and over in it and start feel that I will die if I eat this, sometime happens that when I eat before I feel that I will die now and suddenly my mind stop working and start negative thoughts and feel warm on left side of my head and feel I will fall and never wake up my heart beat very fast, also happens that when I going to sleep in the night thought that I will never wake up tomorrow again, I also tries very hard but its not possible me to get overcome from it as negative thoughts continues and after my head shakes feel dizzy faint feel now fell down now fell down, I always thoughts that my life is just for few days, and this makes nothing to think about my future career, I am an engineering student civil branch 3rd semester 2nd semester, Sir please help me I am in big trouble.

To make your calcium level normal these are some instructions given below: • Increase intake of calcium rich diet such as milk , cheese ,curd ,green leafy vegetables, spinach , cabbage, soya products (tofu, carrot . • Sit in sunlight for 5 min daily when sunlight is not strong , sunlight has vitamin D . • you can take vitamin D supplement to increase your calcium level . • Increase your digestion with use of this method take 1 tea spoon of jeera , dhaniya , and ajwayin grind it and use it in your daily food items .

Clean ur face with face cleanser...Use vlcc toner after cleaning face. Apply Apricot and avocado oil mixed with glycerin can be massaged on the face followed by warm toweling for an instant glow. Mix almond oil with Vitamin E cream and apply at bedtime on face and hands. This leaves the skin soft and supple.

1.Use amla (gooseberry) juice on scalp and also to drink. 2.Mix curry leaves with coconut oil and heat up and let it cool. Wheat Germ oil to massage your head at night. You can also put some fenugreek powder in the oil, heat the oil a bit and apply it on scalp for hairfall, whitening and dandruff. 3.Apply hair packs like Egg with Yogurt, Banana. 4.Have lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits rich in Vitamin C. 5.Protein is the most important element for maintaining hair health. Make sure your diet in protein rich sources like eggs, fish, chicken, soyabean, sprouts, pulses and grains 6.Zinc, iron & copper promote healthy hair.
