Get a Chest X Ray done. You also need to get your sputum tested. Get in touch with a Pulmonologist / Chest Medicine Specialist immediately.

Hello sir, I am 21 years old and I have problem with cold and cough since 2 months. What should I do?

MBBS
General Physician, Kolar
Such a long standing cold requires thorough investigation and evaluation. Get a chest x-ray done and follow up with a physician. You'll need a few blood tests like complete blood count. Depending on the physician's suggestion you may need consultation with an ent specialist too.

I got a nasal polyp due to which I feel difficulty in breathing while sleeping and I also had sinus problem. I do not want it to get operated.

BHMS
Homeopath, Kolkata
Please note that if the polyps are big enough its better to get operated. If it is small it can be treated by Homeopathic medicines. Take Ammon Carb 30 daily before going to sleep for next 2 weeks. Get back to me after that

I am 28 yrs. Old girl I have always a tonsil problem on my right neck. I have shown many doctors but they always give me antiboits only. Please help me how I treat it.

Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases (DTCD), MBBS

Tonsils swells due to response to what we eat. The response can be allergic, inflammatory or infection. So try to control your diet. Take as much natural things as possible. Avoid cold, spicy or artificial color containing food. Antibiotics should be avoided as far as possible.

Several things can be done to prevent cold: -Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. -Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough. -Get plenty of rest/sleep.Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. -Drink plenty of fluids(veg/tomato soups, dal water/coconut water/herbal tea etc), and eat nutritious food(like sprouts/milk). Avoid fatty foods or drinks with caffeine -Treatment: A cold usually lasts for a week or two. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn't need medical treatment. -Gargle to keep from getting a sore throat.Take only lukewarm water to drink during the day -Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation. -Tablet nasorest-p once/twice daily may ease breathing. -Do steam inhalation once or twice daily.
