Looks to be a masculoskeletal pain. Give rest to the part where it hurts you. Apply dry heat and volini spray locally 2/3 times a day. May take carisoma compound tablets. 1 tab twice daily for 5 days. Physiotherapy like ultrasonic and short wave diathermy may also be beneficial. Take 8 - 10 of such sitting.

Baby grows maximum during last 3 months after 6 months, your problem is very common. Women do need extra calories for 2. Eat a healthy diet with more simple proteins like milk and curds plus don't forget iron and folic acid tabs and calcium tabs. Get hb tested and cbc. Go for regular antenatals and get bp checked and watch for swellings, take less sugar and salt despite having normal bp and blood sugar levels. Get checked for thyroid profile done along with blood sugar as gestational diabetes can be a remote cause which needs to be ruled out. Continue routine household work unless your doctor suggests bed rest. Do get back with reports.

Hello dear High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. I am aged 52. I had a heart attack in dec 2013. Angioplasty done. Had one block and stent implanted. Now I am taking tablets 1. Planep 10 mg 1/2 2. Starpress xl 50mg 1 tab 3. Arbitel 20mg 2 tab 4. Prasita 10 mg 1 tab daily after breakfast And ecosprin 150 mg after lunch And storvas 20 mg 2 tab after dinner. Now I feel ok as there is no complaints. I avoid fatty food items non veg and eggs etc but take fried items. like papad and snacks. Is there any harm if I take such food items. How long should I continue the above medicines. My cardiologist said it is to be taken for life long. Can I take generic medicines instead of above medicines. Thanks a lot.

You have to continue all of the above as suggested by your doctor. Cut down on extra salt which is present as a preservative in papads, namkeens, pickles, chutneys and other canned foods. Do not sprinkle salt on salads but do take seasonal fruits and vegetables , as much as you can digest ! Regarding generic medicines , I have no idea but through my experience I can suggest Ashok by Himalaya & to take fruits like pomegranate fresh or a concoction made with dry seeds boiled in water for sometime, drained and kept in fridge for a week, to be taken half a cup everyday.

He should start taking medicines for bp-------------do not think that you will get used to it but think of the adverse effects high bp can pose to other organs---------------so firstly get your bp down and then find out the reason for this increase in bp, if you do not want to continue with allopathic medicine-------------------myself is a homoeopath and I can help you in this direction-----get your blood tests for cbc, esr, lipid profile, creatinine, urea, sgot/sgpt---------------

What food to be eaten to make high blood pressure to norma. Present it's 200/120. Pls suggest.

MBBS, MD-General Medicine, DM - Cardiology
Cardiologist, Secunderabad
No food on earth can bring down this blood pressure to normal. Antihypertensive medication is must. If you are asking food along with medication then its different thing. Many people keep on avoiding medication at the cost of having high bp for a long time which causes damage to many organs silently. Regarding foods for high bp patients, its advisable to take low salt, low fat and low cab diet, rich in fruits and vegetables within limits of calorie allowance.

My age is 57 male. My pulse rate is 42. I am having high blood pressure. For this I am taking losar 50. Blood pressure is 140/90.

Master in Psychology, MD - Ayurveda, Dems, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Ayurveda,
Low pulse rate is termed as bradycardia. There may be very serious reasons behind bradycardia for eg atrioventricular block. So better it is to consult a cardiologist for ecg and 2 d echo.
