Being In Love Will Lead You To A Healthy Heart And Life

Love:It does make the world go round. With millions of songs and movies that have this emotion in its center, can it really be any other way? From early life, love acts as a security blanket from our parents, a growing up adventure with siblings and an out of the world experience with pets. When you learn to care and love, it becomes a life habit that helps you find happiness in all situations.

In several Harvard studies over the years on finding the 'secret of happiness'and the connection between happiness, health, and love, one common undisputed fact emerged that love and good relationships keep you healthier and happier. There really is no medicine like having someone to love and share a life with. Note that you need these reasons for being in love but it is great to know them any way.

  1. The heart and love connection: Our heart has been connected with the emotion of love for so many reasons. Historically, the heart was thought to be the seat to thinking, emotions and memories. It beating extra hard during excitement and love gave an automatic connection to the two. This popular notion continued to take center stage even after it was scientifically proven that the heart only pumped blood while the brain took up other functionalities. The association remains strong until date where the beating heart as a life source is associate with love - which makes life a happy place.
  2. Love can boost your immune system: A research by Ronald Glazer and Jan Kiecolt-Glaser suggested that couples who engaged in positive conflict resolution had a higher functioning immune system than those who didn't. Which means, if you get into an argument, you need to play fair and play nice. Couples who argued and stonewalled showed a larger decline in their immediate immune system functioning. Some connection!
  3. Love more, live longer: According to a 2004 study by the CDC, married couples had the lowest mortality rates. Generally speaking, people who are in committed, loving relationships experience less stress which translates to improved heart health. Happy and loving relationships also coax us into giving up risky behaviours like smoking, especially when you want to raise a family. This in turn propels a healthy lifestyle.
  4. It can reduce your pain: Pain is a feeling when we are physically harmed internally or externally and its intensity is controlled by our brain. But the heart plays an equally important role in its intensity - i.e. reducing it. If you hold the hand of the person you love, it can minimize your feelings of pain. No wonder then that women in labor hold their husband's hand to tide through the pain!
  5. Love can keep your heart happy: Love increases the feeling of bliss and elevates you into a different sphere of optimism, energy and sense of well being - all of which go into keeping your heart healthy.

Hi. Your test is perfectly allright. But at this age, why did you do your lipid profile test. If you at anytime gets querries about your health, first consult a doctor and let him decide what test are to be done. Or else you land-up doing non benefiting tests. Take care.

Congratulations Yugandhar for thinking of cigarettes as cause for throat and chest pain. This is the best time, to plan and to stop smoking permanently. If you go on, you may need more and more cigarettes and stopping them will be more and more difficult. However check with your doctor your throat and chest. There are other causes for it - they will be treated accordingly.

You could be having some sort of viral neuralgia like herpes zoster see if you have and any skin lesions like some eruptive vesicles sometimes patients get them later but usually they do not cross the mid line of back or on other side. For further assistance you may have to consult in person. Get your sugars and hba1c done to see the control some times simple pain killers and anti allergic drugs can be started initially.

Add 1spoon honey and chawanprash in morning and evening and 2 cups of milk wth almonds kishmish banana in morning and evening. Add amla in diet and do 30mints of exercise and deep breathing 5times inhale exhale from left nostril than same from right.

Take pranacharya kasantak syrup 2-2 tsf in hot water twice a day. Take sitopaladi. Praval and tankan bhasm churna with honey 3-4 times a day. Take ginger black pepper and basil leaves tea. .gargle with hot water (salted) avoid milk. Cold drinks. Take hot water steam.

Hi lybrate-user Set goals– Its important to set a goal to reach the goal, without a specific goal in mind you do not reach anywhere Have a plan -Before beginning your journey towards healthy weight , have a plan ready to follow and try to follow it as much as you can. Chew food well– Half of the digestion happens in your mouth, when food mixes well with your saliva, teeth are there for chewing food well, don’t just gulp your food down the throat, few not well digested can also lead to gaining weight Eat slowly, eat mindfully– Eating slowly and giving attention to what you eat helps you to digest your food well and also helps you enjoy the process of eating Eat vegetables with every meal- It is important to include vegetables in form of salads, soups or sabji with every meal, vegetables are good sources of vitamins and minerals plus are low in calories, it helps give feeling of satiety. Eat protein with every meal– Protein are important part of our diet, they help increase our metabolism and also help to repair wear and tear of body muscles. A diet with required amount of lean proteins aids in weight loss Cook at home– Avoid outside foods, they are high in not so good fats, colours, salt and preservatives. My question is regarding Cholesterol which is always in the range of 325-350. Dear Relaaax Cholesterol is made in liver as per body needs. Food does not alter this. Statins don't help. Regular exercise, haldi milk will help you to maintain cholesterol.

Follow few basic things so that you get better results in short period of time…. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day. 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water one hour before meals and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits …. 6) do anuloma viloma pranayam regularly early in the morning. A) TAKE 30 ml of divya shawasari pravahi (PATANJALI AYURVEDA) along with 30 ml of lukewarm water after meals, early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 2 tablets of SWAS-KASA-CHINTAMANI RASA, early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. C) take 2-2 tablets of sutshekhar rasa and aarogyawardhini vati after meals. high cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take green veg., whole grain.garlic,. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

okay , good fats are low . one can afford to eat a spoon of desi ghee or butter and a katori of assorted nuts everyday. Drink lemon juice with a spoon of honey everyday to reduce bad fats.
