Are you Diabetic or having High BP ?as these are common cause of kidney damage Treatment is directed towards treatment of cause like uncontrolled blood sugar/ high BP etc we can not reverse kidney damage but we can make slow progression of disease by focusing on treatment of cause.

Hello all, I have a serious concern about my brother, can anyone please help me with this issue. My brother is 26 years old and he use to wet the bed (urinate) once in 30 - 45 days. He does not wet the bed regularly. But when I asked him he was very ashamed and could not say it to me properly. He said that he felt like he is in washroom and urinating in the comet. But later he noticed that that was bed. Till then it was completely wet. Is this because of any disease? Hi! you can do masturbation 2 times a week, more than this is harmful. Daily masturbation is definitely harmful for future married life. Excessive masturbation can cause problems in bearing child. It can cause erectile dysfunction, early ejaculation, sperms count and size problem of penis and body weakness and memory problem also in the long run.

1. Systolic bp is the presure that blood exerts on walls of arteries during heart contractions. Its normal range is 120-139 mm of hg. Diastolic bp is the pressure of blood on walls of arteries when the heart is at rest between contractions. Its normal range is 80-89 mm of hg. So the safe difference between both is apprx. 30-40 mm of hg 2. Although both r important but in topical countries like india systolic bpis more important as its increase indicates hypertension and its dangerous as most of the cases of high bp remains undetected due to poor knowledge of regular health chk ups nd ignorance in under developed countries like ours. 3. There is almost zero difference of bp in both arms. If there is a difference then it can be suggestive of some arterial disease. 4. According to me these imported gadgets r made according to western climate standards and there iss a possibility that readingss may vary in hot countries like ours. 5. If you r hper or hypotensive then a regular chk up of bp is required every week. If normal then check up after 3-4 months is required. 6 it depends. Firstly u must be having a strong knowledge of your problem, its limitations, nd what all u can do to overcome it, only then u can get rid of the medicine. Actually once hypertension is detected we indians start taking medicines on aregular basis without future consultations nd this is the start of problem. So be determined to avoid medicine as much as u can but for that proper knowledge is required. Medicine is a must when u have a problem but dont be a slave of these medicines but take their help timebeingly as our body has a power of self healing. Actually we r weak and underestimate ourselves.

If you can totally avoid it is better and sucralose marketed as Sugar free NATURA is a god substitute (not aspartame)

yes, stress is a known cause for increase blood pressure. try to de-stress yourself by yoga, breathing exercise etc. avoid excessive salt, packaged food, caffeinated/ alcoholic drinks. monitor your blood pressure regularly.

Simple Tricks and Tips to Manage Anxiety and Insomnia

Insomnia or sleeplessness is quite difficult to cope with and for people suffering from anxiety, it is even tougher. People suffering from anxiety remain in a state of mental and physical distress. On top of this, if they cannot sleep well because of insomnia, life becomes quite hard. Insomnia causes anxiety and also is caused due to anxiety.

Here are some simple tips to manage anxiety and insomnia:

  1. Maintain a schedule: Try to go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every morning. Experiment with several different bedtimes and wake up times to find out which one works best for you.
  2. Turn off electronic devices: Switch off all electronic devices thirty minutes before you go to bed. Electronic devices stimulate your mind and the light from the devices does not make you feel that it is time to sleep. Keep the devices away from you while going to bed.
  3. Dim lights: Practice dimming all lights in your house before bedtime. Change light bulbs and replace them with low wattage lights. This will enable you to have lights, although they are dim. Low lighting will make your body produce melatonin to make you prepare for sleep.
  4. Keep away from alcohol and smoking: Consuming alcoholic drinks before bedtime reduces your quality of sleep and you may wake up within two hours. Do not consume alcohol before bedtime. Smoking should be restricted before sleeping, as the nicotine contained in cigarettes is a stimulant, which can take away your sleep.
  5. Ignore caffeinated drinks: Caffeine is a stimulant and consuming caffeinated drinks before going to bed can result in losing sleep. Do not drink coffee before sleeping.
  6. Exercise: Exercise is a perfect solution to reduce anxiety and results in improved sleep quality. Exercise regularly during the day or three to four hours before bedtime. Yoga and meditation performed just before going to sleep are effective.
  7. Make a pre-sleep ritual: Try to find ways, which would help you calm your mind just before going to sleep and practice it every day. This can be reading a book, taking a hot shower or listening to your favorite songs. Your mind will be relaxed, and you will get better sleep.
  8. Maintain a sleep journal: Keep a sleep journal and write about the time when you go to sleep and when you wake up. Also note down the time you require to fall asleep, the number of times your sleep breaks and how your sleep was. This will enable you to observe your sleep patterns and make adjustments.

For people suffering from anxiety, added insomnia results in enhanced difficulty. One should cope with the problems properly and try to improve upon them.

you can tab. calcimax. once a day. Avoid bad habits .Avoid fast food/fat/oily,salty foods. Coffee, smoking, alcohol intake. Non-veg., take whole grain,oats,green veg.,plenty of water in day time, 1 glass of water at night before bed.

Hello, I am 19 years old girl. I hve checked my CBC in last week and reports show that my platelet count is very low i. E. 36000. And my HB is 10gms. I want to know what is the problem with my platelet count and what should I do.

Low platelet count could be due to 1. Dehydration, vitamin b12, folic acid deficiency, pregnancy 2. Leukemia, aplastic anaemia, itp (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura) 3.
