hello lybrate user, kidney stones often have reoccurring tendency, even after surgically removed. drink plenty of water, 8-9 glass per day. (hydrotherapy is helpful to flush out kidney stones). avoid calcium oxalate rich food like peanuts, almond, spinach, tomato, egg etc; reduce animal protein intake like chicken, fish etc; reduce salt intake. add more fruits in diet. take homeopathic treatment for kidney stones (renal calculi).it's safe, natural and holistic way of treatment. natural homeopathic medicines like lyco, Berberis, etc are highly effective in complaints like kidney stones. In chronic cases, medicine is selected on the basis of thorough details of patient like medical history, other complaints, causes, routine, temperament etc..; such well selected remedy gives complete cure and stops the reoccurring tendency of kidney stones formation. message back for proper homeopathic consultation.

I have stone in left and right kidney and I take so many medicines but the condition is same. please tell the remedy.
You should follow these very important and simple things to prevent stone formation & to get sure treatment of kidney stones: 1. First take a lot of fluid daily. The more you drink water and fluid, the less amount of deposit accumulate in kidney. So you have to make your kidneys healthy just only by drinking 2-3 liters (10-12 glasses) of water. 2. Stones are mainly formed of calcium and oxalate. So take very low quantity of milk, cheese, cream and dairy products. 3. Do not take strawberry, plum, spinach and tomatoes. These fruits and vegetables are rich in oxalate. So avoid them to prevent from kidney stones. 3. Stop taking supplementary vitamin d and calcium medication. 4. Avoid animal protein diet- eggs, red meat, fish in diet. 5. Take less amount of salt, pickle and western foods. They have high amount of sodium. So avoid it. 6. Urinary infection are also one of the cause of stone. So take proper antibiotic treatment of urinary infection on time. Even when you feelburning sensation or pain during urination, don't avoid it. Hi Kindly avoid high protein diet like non vegetarian food, oily fried, pulses etc. Diet should be less in phosphorus that are constituent in high protein diet. Substitutes cottage cheese for hard cheese as well as drinking rice milk in place of regular milk can help lower the consumption of phosphorus. Drink an adequate amount of water. But, kindly consult a good homoeopathic doctor near you for his complaints as homoeopathy has shown great results in removal of calculus without a surgical intervention if the size of calculus is of considerable size. Kindly contact us through audio or video call for further analysis of his case. Tc.

Urinary Tract Infection - Reasons behind It

Urinary Tract Infection - Reasons behind It

Urinary Tract Infections are a group of diseases that affect one’s urinary system such as the urethra, bladder, ureters or kidneys. Women are more prone to contracting UTIs than men. They may be accompanied by symptoms such as a constant urge to urinate frequently along with a burning sensation in the concerned parts and pelvic pain. The urine may have traces of blood in it. These infections are usually treated with antibiotics.

Causes behind Urinary Tract Infection:

Urinary Tract infection generally occurs when the bacteria enter the urinary tract via the urethra and begin to proliferate in the bladder. Although the urinary system is structured to ward off such invaders, at times, the defense mechanism fails. In that case, the bacteria may evolve into a full-blown infection in the urinary tract.

Few risk factors are:

  1. Female anatomy: A woman’s urethra is shorter as compared to a man’s, thus lessening the distance the bacteria need to travel to the bladder. This increases the chances of UTIs in women.

  2. Using diaphragms and spermicidal agents for birth controls

  3. A dip in the levels of estrogen post menopause

  4. Abnormalities in the urinary tract that hinder the discharge of urine or cause the urine to travel back into the urethra.

  5. Enlarged prostate or kidney stones that cause the urine to be trapped in the bladder.

  6. An impaired immune system because of diabetes and other ailments

  7. Using catheters (tube) to urinate is one of the common risk factors because of the chances of infections. If you wish to discuss any specific problem, you can consult an urologist.
