What is a best exercise a 77 year old can do on a daily basis. Especially on scorching summer months I am having diabetes for the last 10 years also having blood pressure. Both under control by taking medicines and insulin 16 units one time in the morning.

Hye. Thank you for your query. Since you are new to exercise - brisk walking or yoga is the ideal exercise to begin with. Never workout if your blood pressure or sugar levels are very high. Avoid going for workout on a empty stomach or after a heavy meal.

The main reasons of pimples are. 1. Eating fried food and oily food 2. Less fibres in diet 3. Drinking less water 4. Hormonal. To avoid pimples you need to include apples, kiwis, papayas in your salad which need to be taken half an hour before meal. Font scratch pimples as it may worsen your problem. Take homoeopathic medicine kali brom 30, nux vom30 (4 tablets 4 times each) and berberis aquifoliumq (15 drops 3 times a day in half glass of leukwarm water).

1. Do regular aerobic exercise for 1 hour daily (brisk walking, jogging, running, swimming, cycling etc) 2. Reduce weight if overweight 3control diet a) avoid sweets, sugar/honey, milk, milk product excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet like white bread, cereal, rice, pasta b) avoid all refined food like maida, pasta, starchy food like rice, potato, bakery item, processed food, c) include more fiber like pulse, green leafy vegetable, cucumber, carrot, tomato, j legume. D) avoid sweetened fruit like banana, mango, litchi, chickoo, sapota, seethaphal jack fruit, grape etc. Can have fruits like guava, pineapple, papaya, orange, mousambi, strawberry, watermelon, pomegranate, jack fruit, sweet potato, a handful of walnut daily (akhrot) e) avoid white/polished rice, take unpolished rice like brown rice/wheat/jowar/ragi, moong and chana dal. F) avoid ghee/ butter./coconut oil/excess salt intake like papad/pickle. G) avoid red meat. Take fish/chicken. H) avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks like soft drink 4. Adhere to a strict diabetic diet by consulting dietitian 5. Monitor your fasting, pp blood sugar 3 monthly and hba1c six monthly

Hi, take complete bed rest. Consume high protein diet like sprouts, egg, soya, milk and milk products to regain the energy and strength which is lost due to the infection. Avoid spicy and oil fried food. Consume plenty of fluids. Take the antibiotics prescribed by the doctor for 10-14 days. Avoid outside food and fresh and hot home made food is preferred. Ceftriaxone or cefixime with ofloxacin are generally recommended antibiotics.

Hello- cough at start is wet in nature but later due to the use of modern drugs it get dry and due to that it gets deposited in the lungs and hence causes chest congestion. Try these ayurvedic tips- a) inhale steam of water (mix with few drops of eucalyptus oil in it) to relieve your chest congestion and for expectorating the stuffed cough. B) massage your chest region with luke warm sesame oil daily at evening time. C) use eladi vati 1 tab thrice daily as lozenges. D) use kankasav 2 tsp twice daily with water.

There are two kinds of exercise modes aerobic and anaerobic, jogging, walking, cycling, dancing are all aerobic forms of exercise also called cardio vascular. Doing these exercise you can improve your heart health and build up stamina. The other form which is weight training is anaerobic form which you do to build muscle hence strength and reduce body. Both in combination works best for a person. 3 days of weight training and 3 days of cardio is ideal.

Following tips will help you to prevent further hair loss: 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin c like amla and oranges. 10. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.

We all are aware of the fact that our height increases up to a particular age and then it comes to a halt. Height increases up to the age of 18years in women and up to the age of 20 years in men. Increase in height is attributed to the production of growth hormone, called the HGH( Human Growth Hormone), which is secreted by the pituitary gland called the master gland of our body. It is rather difficult to increase height after reaching adulthood as the production of these hormones slowly stops. In most cases, the epiphyses of the long bones are fused as the last bits of cartilaginous tissue in the bones turn into solid hard bones. This prevents any further growth in longer bones. However, if the hormones are released naturally, increase in height can be observed. To build a lean body you have to do intense weight training and follow a very strict nutrition program. To gain muscles you will have to eat at least 6 meals in a day at a regular interval with a proper ratio of proteins and carbohydrates. Proteins will help you gain body mass while carbohydrates will help you give energy. Protein foods are eggs, fish, chicken, milk and milk products, meat and dals. Carbohydrate foods are roti and rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes. You have to eat vegetables and fruits and use healthy and good fats for cooking like ghee, cold pressed mustrad or til oil. You will also have to do some weight training exercise to help you build mass into the body. Also drink enough water to keep you hydrated. Since you have to keep minimum body fat you should consume minimum starches. And there are many protein powders available in the market. Choose and isolate which has no carbs.

Dear dentures are of two type removable /fixed removable partial denture is normally given for missing teeth and they are easily affordable than comes fixed bridge which are expensive but durable and best choice is implant and fix denture, they are more expensive, cost depends upon place to place and doctor you choose, choice is always yours.

I advise you to do meditation for mental strength by doing slow and deep breathing relaxation exercises in the morning. Take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Avoid garlic and red chilly and non veg and eggs. Eat all fruits and vegetables.

Pigmentation on face can be due to melasma, acne, age or sun spots or post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Medicated creams and chemical peels are the recommended treatment. Glycolic, lactic, mandelic, salicylic, tca are different types of peel which when chosen appropriately reduce pigmentation as well as improve skin texture. However it can cause skin burns if not used correct so always get such procedures done by dermatologists.

Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1. Arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4. Lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.
