Your BP is normal. You can stop BP medicine for sometime and monitor your BP. If BP is raised you have to continue medicine throughout but can reduce the dose after consulting doctor.

Pain in breast can either be due to changes in harmones ,some deficiency or even it could be some muscular pain, in order to figure out the exact cause we advise you to get a mammography or an ultrasound done, along with a few blood tests to rule out for any pathology. Sometimes breast heaviness or discomfort also happens during or before periods.

Hello Lybrate user according to Ayurveda breathing problems arises because of Kapha Dosha Vikriti Home Remedy- 1-Take ginger tea mixed with 2-3 crushed garlic cloves. 2-Massaging the chest with warm sesame oil mixed with salt helps to loosen the phlegm deposited in the chest, especially, when followed with steam inhalation. Treatement- 1-Take shwas kuthar ras twice a day. 2-pranacharya asthamin capsule 1-1 twice a day. 3-pranacharya shwas vikarasav 2-2 tsf twice a day. 4-put 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. 5-take hot water steam. Diet- avoid smoking. Alcohol consumption. Do pranayama early morning.

My father in law who is 61 yrs now had undergone angioplasty in 2007. The stent was inserted through the right side. From last year there is numbness (less sensation) on the right thigh and pain occurs when he stands for a long time or walks for about 2 kms. Is it due to the operation or some other cause? kindly advice.

Dear Abhirupa, These symptoms may also happen when the blood is weak and there is lack of nutrition to all the different body parts. Depending on the CBC, she should take adequate vitamins, minerals (in natural or ayurvedic form) to strengthen blood and body. Regards.

I'm 61 year old 164 cms tall height weighing 90 kgs male. My BP has on an average for last 3 months is 133/84. This I have taken as mathematical average of 11 readings over last 3 months. The reading were taken at 7 am every time. My blood sugar and cholesterol is within limits. I do not smoke but drink occasionally (once a week) that too in moderation. I eat normal food in moderation (no fries or oily/buttered stuff). Is the BP ok under these conditions or should have to go for some other medications. I'm having 5 mg amlodipine daily.

Dear user you Hv to make every effort to reduce your weight, then drink medicated water by adding dhania powder ie coriander 50gms and shunthi ie dry ginger 20gms mix them well n keep it in the jar, then add two spoons in 3 litres of water n let it boil for 2-3 mins, then let it cool drink that water through out your day, this will improve your BMR n help in reducing weight.

Take care of your rib injury, put crape bandage of good quality over the affected area, take calcium tablets daily, avoid cold as cough aggravates it. If don't feel well then come back to me.

Hello, 'Prevention is always better than Cure! Few lifestyle changes can help you in controlling and preventing the high blood pressure (hypertension or HTN), even if you're taking blood pressure medication. So, relax. Just implement few alterations in your life and get rid of HTN as the earliest! Eat healthy foods. Consume more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, poultry, fish and low-fat dairy foods. Eat less saturated fat and trans fat. Decrease the salt in your diet. So, avoid eating processed foods, such as canned soups or frozen dinners which contains extra salt in it. Keeping a healthy weight, or losing weight if you're overweight or obese, can help you control your high blood pressure and lower your risk of related health problems. Increase physical activity which can help lowering your blood pressure, manage stress, reduce your risk of several health problems. Get indulged in regular exercising (if your doctor allows you). Limit alcohol. Even if you're healthy, alcohol can raise your blood pressure. If you choose to drink alcohol, do so in moderation. Don't smoke. Tobacco injures blood vessel walls and speeds up the process of hardening of the arteries. Reduce stress as much as possible. Practice healthy coping techniques, such as muscle relaxation, deep breathing or meditation. Getting regular physical activity and plenty of sleep can help, too. Monitor your blood pressure at home. Hello, Take Allium sativum Q, 10 drops with water twice daily. Arborium (REDHILLS), 10 ml twice daily. Essentia Aurea , 15 drops with water once daily. Avoid, outside food, oily , spicy food. Drink plenty of water.

Hello, Practicing yoga with homoeopathic medication helps you in releasing the stress from your body. Brisk walk in a park will help you inhale more fresh air and oxygen for good functioning of the cells and tissues of the body. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Bacopa Monierri 1x/ thrice daily and Kali Phos. 6x/ once at night. Yogasana: Practice the following poses if you don’t have any medical condition or pregnancy or else take an advice from your concern doctor and then only perform these. 1. Balasana: Sit on your heels with your big toes touching and hands resting on your thighs. Lower your belly and chest to rest between your knees, bringing your forehead to the floor. Relax your arms back beside your shins, palms facing up. Soften your breath by taking 5 to 10 long, deep inhalations and exhalations. 2. Savasana: lie back, letting your body sink into and open around the support. End in a supported pose on your back with a folded blanket under the length of the spine to help arch the upper and middle back, and lengthen the lower back. Move your arms a comfortable distance away from your body and anything else around you. Turn your palms to face up. Separate your legs a natural distance apart. Relax your feet and let them roll open. Finally, do a mental scan from head to toe: Where are you holding tension. Release it from every part of your body—including your heart and head. 3. Bhujanasana: Slowly slide forward from Child's Pose to lie facedown. Press your toes and forehead gently into the floor. Rest your palms lightly on the floor on either side of your chest with fingertips pointing forward and elbows bent and hugging in toward your ribcage. Inhale and lift your chest from the heart, pressing only very lightly into your palms and mostly using your back strength to hold your shoulders and chest up. Soften your shoulders. Then lift your hands off the floor completely, broadening across your collarbones and reaching your heart up. Take a couple of deep, slow breaths here. Then as you exhale, place your palms back down and gently lower your chest to floor. Yes you can eat mango, as mango does help to reduce blood pressure. But you can't expect that mango will reduce it considerably and will bring close to normal. Healthy diet, regular exercise and medicine are the three things you need to manage your high blood pressure.

Hi, try having warm lemon water with honey every morning. Below tips could help you start your weight-loss journey. 1. Never eat a snack out of a carton or a cover. Always use a cup or a plate to so you know how much you are eating. 2. Have at least one bright colored fruit and one bright colored vegetable a day 3. Take a small snack box to office with almonds, walnuts and other dry fruits to satisfy your cravings 4. Try to have your dinner by 8 so that you are not too hungry and also make healthy choices at dinner. 5. People who eat breakfast have a better success rate at losing weight. 6. Beware of zero trans fat and fat free foods as you might end up eating high sugar and carb containing foods. 7. People who are emotional eaters learn to identify the emotion that makes you eat unhealthy food and try diverting your mind to something else you love 8. If your plates are too big trade them off for a 9 inch plates 9. Replace your weighing scale with a tape measure. 10.
