For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and few tips- avoid any triggering factor, take folic acid regularly, eat a healthy diet, always be stress free, exercise regularly.

I am a 53 years old male having high blood pressure from last 25-30 years and also suffering from restless legs syndrome. I am taking medicines - tab. Metosarton 50mg and tab amlong 2. 5mg for hypertension and tab. Premipex 0. 5mg and tab melzap md 0. 5mg for rls, although all my tests are ok. However, I normally feel chest pain many times at different areas of chest. Also, I have undergone ct angio 3 times and it' s been always on negative side. Recently before 5 days, I again felt moderate chest pain with shortness of breathing which was then extended to my left jaw, right jaw and backside of the neck. I immediately went to a cardiologist and he noticed some changes in my ecg but eco was perfectly fine. He then suggested me to get admitted in a hospital. I was admitted in hospital' s icu for a day. After thorough checks, fresh ecg, eco, tmt and troponin-i test, doctor declared that pain was not a cardiac reason. Even after 4 days of discharge from hospital, the chest pain is still persisting multiple times in a day. Request doctor to please advise me on why the pain is persisting continuously and advise on what possibly be a cause behind this pain.

If cardiac cause has been ruled out, pain could be due to weakening of bone ie ribs in the chest, get your vitamin d levels done- could be low and start calcium supplements. Revert back with reports. Also get serum electrophoresis for m band( blood test).

Genetic factors do play a role, but they serve as a warning also, if father had a heart attack during youth, it is a reason for you to lead a healthy life, no smoking / exposure to pollution, eat well, avoid fats, eat more fruits and vegetables, keep weight under control, lead a stress free life, keep bp & sugar under control if high and eat minimum salt, avoiding every tinned/ packed food as salt is the preservative.

My father in law who is 61 yrs now had undergone angioplasty in 2007. The stent was inserted through the right side. Consume more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, poultry, fish and low-fat dairy foods. Eat less saturated fat and trans fat. Decrease the salt in your diet. So, avoid eating processed foods, such as canned soups or frozen dinners which contains extra salt in it. Keeping a healthy weight, or losing weight if you're overweight or obese, can help you control your high blood pressure and lower your risk of related health problems. I was working at gym on a machine called parallel bar where in we need to hold or press bar in hand and out body will be free on air then we have to lower a bit until we can which strengthens chest and arm both. When I was doing it I felt a cramp on my chest and from then when I bend or lift it hurts then I stopped gym for few days and it is reducing. Now my question is its been 4 days am not going to workout. Can I start lifting weights from Monday as before as my pain in chest is reduced, orthopedics please suggest me, FYI- I didn't take any medication on it till now.

Several things can be done to prevent cold: -Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. -Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough. -Get plenty of rest/sleep.Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. -Drink plenty of fluids(veg/tomato soups,dal water/coconut water/herbal tea etc), and eat nutritious food(like sprouts/boiled eggs without yolk with milk). Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine -Treatment:A cold usually lasts for a week or two.
