Hello, I am having pain in my left chest and left shoulder, i am feeling congestion while i am breathing, my heart beat is rising even with small sounds and i am hearing pulse sound in my ears, please suggest me which doctor I should consult? Dear lybrate user, my advise would be to consult a specialist either ortho/pain specialist for diagnosis, as low back pain can arise from disc, facet joints, sacroiliac joints, piriformis muscles, ql muscles etc. It is important to find out the source of problem and treat it rather than taking pain killer or doing physiotherapy without knowing the problem. Hope it will guide and help you understand your problem and you take steps accordingly. Thanks.

Hello, First of all you should take rest for 1-2 days so that your body can fight with underlying infection with its full immunity and start the below medication:- Take Rhus tox 200CH, twice daily . Take Eupatrium perf 200, 5 drops thrice daily.Take Antifebrinum 3x, 2 tabs , thrice daily. Take Alfavena malt, 1 tsf, thrice daily. Drink lots of water and take light homemade food like dalia and khichdi, avoid oily, spicy, fried, junk and cold drinks. In case of high uncontrollable fever, don't panic you should do cold sponging to lower down the temperature.If fever does not goes then go for a set of blood tests. Revert me with feedback. Hi, your issues/ symptoms as you describe point towards some mineral/ vitamin deficiency unless there is some other issue that requires to be clinically examined/ investigated. I would advise you to consult a general physician in person who can discuss with you and advise tests suitably to see if you are deficient in something, especially need to check your calcium & vitamin d levels. At the same time, ensure that you have balanced diet and a streamlined lifestyle. Exercise/ walk daily in fresh air for about 30 minutes and relax/ de-stress regularly. Exposure to early morning sun rays for 5 to 10 minutes daily helps replenish the vitamin d levels. In case you are a student still, set realistic goals and give your best while being focussed on your present. Its extremely important that you relax/ de-stress intermittently so that you stay engaged and do not get fatigued. It is advisable to avoid oily and fried stuff. Rather, consume more of fresh fruits & vegetables and stay hydrated. Drink 8 - 10 glasses of water daily. Hi team. I am suffering from lower backpain. Earlier I used to suffer from neck pain but now it has been cured a bit but for a year now lower back pain is too much. I do not know what to do. I have seen many doctors, they just prescribed the pain killers which is not a solution. Now I am scared to see a doctor just bcoz of the pain killers. please help me out. Neck advice hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Core strengthening exercises. Take frequent breaks at work use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck.

First, go to the underlying problem why pimples on your back occur? do you keep your back clean and dry? do you wear cotton tshirts? do not let the pores in your back get clogged. Scrub it three times a week with an anti bacterial soap and apply a good oil free moisturiser. Improve the intake of vitamin c in your diet most important is hygeine. Keep your body clean and scrubbed, wear cotton clothes. Bathe twice with anti bacterial soap like cetaphil or sebamed or use dial antibacterial body wash with moisturizers spring water. Apply ketoconazole lotion after patting your skin dry. Improve your diet, leave junk food. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables.

I am suffering from a tear in acl since 3 years. Can you suggest me a best work outs for healing this injury. Is there any way to treat this injury without operation. If there is any method pls let me know.

As you have an acl injury your stability to the knee joint will be reduced. I would firstly suggest you to wear a knee cap as you walk or climb stairs. Secondly I will list down a few important exercises which you should do daily morning and evening. If you do these exercises you will develop good muscle strength that will support and hold your knee from further damages. Secondly you will improvise on joint proprioception (joint sense) which is important as the knee has to understand various movements. You should also aim for good knee movements and build up the tone of muscles. Let me list the exercises that you could do for the knee. > press your knee down on a towel for about 10 to 15 seconds. You should be in the lying down position. Hold and then release your knee. > press your heel down on a towel again in the lying down position. You must hold the heel in the pressed position for 10 to 15 seconds. > lie down and raise your leg to about 45 degrees and hold for 15 seconds. This will build up quadriceps strength. > start bending your knee in the lying down position and in the sitting position. You must be aware of sitting on a high seat so that your knee will bend much more. > you could use a theraband which has a little resistance so that you can bend your knee with some resistance. > squeeze a towel inbetween your kness in the lying down position. Kindly follow all these exercises so that you will gain good strength to the knee and you attain good stability to the knee so that you can get back to walking jogging and playing once again. As far as possible please dio these exercises so that you could also avoid surgery. Please get back to me after two weeks.

I am feeling sensations in back of my arms, neck and in cervical area some doctors diagnosed it as nerve problem, it feels good when someone presses it or gives massage, but whenever I masturbate. Problem increases so much and becomes intolerable, sensations become so high my complete arms feels weak, even I have problem in typing, also sensation in hands fingers, specially in last two fingers" Pinched nerve signs and symptoms include: Numbness or decreased sensation in the area supplied by the nerve. Hi, if you have pain for more than 2 months, it's not a symptom any more but chronic pain disease. Important is to put diagnosis about pain generator (source of pain, if it from spine (disc, facet joints, nerve) then get the help of specialist such as interventional pain specialist or orthopedician in your city, but if it is due to muscular spasm still i'd advise to take from specialist for some medicine prescription and physiotherapy if that deemed necessary.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.
