Hi, When the blood supply is cut off to the cardiac muscles due to blockage in the coronary vessels, heart attack occurs. Please follow these tips to avoid heart attacks: - Work out everyday (yoga or gym) or walk for 1 hour daily. -Avoid excessive intake of sweets, oil fried food, excessive intake of carbohydrates. - Take high fibre diet. - Check your lipid profile once in 6 months and sugar levels once in 3 months. - Undergo stress test (TMT) once in a year - Avoid sedentary life style and be active. - Do not put on weight - Use heart friendly cooking oil like rice bran oil, olive oil, etc - Avoid mental tension and worries.

Pain in chest does not always come from heart. There may be other reasons associated like muscle strains, gastritis, etc. For which the first point of contact for you is a general Physician. Let him check and investigate the reason for your problems and guide you accordingly. This can not be done online and you would require a physical consultation. He might either manage you alone or may refer to some other concerned specialist. You should consult immediately.

Normal heart rate is between 60-100 beats per minute, 117 is simply a little high which can easily be due to your anxiety, fear, stress. 1) Stop being anxious, heart rate fluctuation is a normal healthy thing in response to physical activity, stres, anxiety, exercise etc and it does not means anything dangerous. 2) Since you are a diabetic, ensure that your sugar is well controlled, fasting <110, PP <160 & HBA1C <6.6-6.8 3) If you are above 40 then get an annual TMT, Echo, BP check and lipid profile done to ensure as a preventive package this will kepp you reassured. 4) You can ask your treating endocrinologist to prescribe some anti-anxiety medication if you still continue to remain anxious.

Consult with a normal physician first he/ she will suggest you further tests and consultation. Go for rehabilitation also this is not your age to face all these problems. Try to do yoga or some light exercise.

Haloooo sir. I wanna ask abt some patients suffering from both high and low blood pressure. If they take medicine for high bp and than bp is low. If medicine is taken for low bp. Than bp is high. If bp comes to a very low level than it is advisable to stop medication and eat nutritious home made food with adequate fluid intake and take physical rest and keep a record of bp reading at different time of the day.

after bypass surgery the person feels like a normal after about 3 months. eat well and reduce bad fats and sugars and salt despite BP and blood sugar levels under control. no smoking or exposure to pollution. fresh oxygen through plants . simple exercise like walking and take your medicines in time good luck.

Hello lybrate user the reason of your mood fluctuations is you know that you don't have any work to do right now. I will suggest you that instead of taking medicines and become dependent on medicine you should try to do some work. If not possible make yourself busy in some activity's like reading books or do anything which you wanted to do but because of your job it left behind. Engage yourself with your Hobbies. Or also you can join some adult club there you will find lots thing to do.

Follow these best tips to get relief from stomach pain - *take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. *take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening. * take 1 tea spoon of liv-52 syrup daily one time. * walk for atleast 15-20 minutes daily and avoid long duration continuos sitting. * avoid taking nonveg at night & in day time after taking food, do not sleep in day.

For Recovering from low BP follow these best methods: • Anaemia is a cause of low BP so check your hemoglobin level (Hb) if this is low so eat green leafy vegetables, beetroot and fruits like pomegranate. • Eat an apple daily it maintain your BP normal. • Take your meal daily do not skip meal. • Drink 8 - 9 glass of water daily. Hydrate your body well with drinking proper amount of water because dehydration is also cause fall of BP. • When you feel that your BP is low then take 2 teaspoons of Glucon D and add a pinch of salt mix it in one glass of water and drink it.
