Hi, even though you stop doing work outs/ exercises you end up in eating the same calorie content food which ultimately leads to weight gain. So, when you decide to reduce or stop exercises or workouts you need to reduce your calories content of food too. Use honey and lemon in the morning which boosts your immunity and metabolism. Its better to have small and frequent meals and this type of diet keeps you fit. It generally includes a 6 meal pattern where you will have breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, evening snack, Dinner and bed time snack. Include high fibre foods like whole grains, legumes and pulses, vegetables, fruits and skimmed milk, lean meat, skin out chicken, fish, salads, beverages like green tea, lemon tea, buttermilk. Avoid refined carbohydrates, oily and fried foods, butter, ghee, red meat, junk food, carbonated beverages. Lemon/ coriander/ ginger/ pepper/ black salt/ chaat masala, all these can be used to make food taste in a way more better. Stay hydrated all the time and take stairs instead of lift. Give a gap of 2 hours between dinner and sleep and try to start working out and you can consume oats meal/ sprouts/ 1 jowar thin roti/ bajra roti with (cucumber, onion, tomato, lemon squeezed in it. By incorporating the correct schedule you can see the difference.

Please follow the below recommendation for your condition: diet, exercise, and behavioral modification should be included in all obesity management approaches for body mass index (bmi) of 25 kg/m 2 or higher. Other tools, such as pharmacotherapy for bmi of 27 kg/m 2 or higher with comorbidity or bmi over 30 kg/m2 and bariatric surgery for bmi of 35 kg/m2 with comorbidity or bmi over 40 kg/m 2, should be used as adjuncts to behavioral modification to reduce food intake and increase physical activity when this is possible. Many obese people are advised to follow a juice diet or the juice fast for a period of a week or so, so that they can shed the excess extra pounds faster. Health and nutrition experts advise people to consume fresh fruit or vegetable juice for obesity.

To protect the skin from Acne the most important thing is to follow a healthy diet and protect your skin from pollution by frequently washing with face wash. Do not eat outside food and junk food. Avoid eating spicy oily and sour food items. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits and salads. Drink 10 to 12 glasses of water everyday. Do yoga and exercise everyday which will keep you healthy physically and mentally which in turn keep your skin healthy as face is the mirror of inner health. medication. ... It's good but you may use egg whites pack in face too. No egg yellow please. It may infect. Do for one week and report for further advise.

Hi I have thyroid since many years. But my weight was normal before taking thyroid medicine. Now after taking medicine for so many years I v started gaining weight especially on face. Should I stop taking medicine? I have hypothyroidism n taking medicine since 9 years.

I am 20 year male. For last two week, my neck is pain too much and I sleep two late. Please help me to overcome it. And give some tips.

You neck pain causes could likely be: 1> Poor Posture - during sleep /during work 2> Muscle strain. Treatment: * Give your muscles a break - When you lie down, Make sure your head in a neutral position and that you’ve got a comfortable pillow. More rest is often the best remedy even if you just rolled out of bed. * Avoid activities such as lifting and sports that make pain worse. * Do stretching and strengthening exercises to keep your neck flexible and strong and prevent stiffness. * Avoid or change any activities that may be causing your neck pain, such as sitting for a long time at the computer or doing too much overhead work at a time. * Gently massage or rub the area to relieve pain and encourage blood flow. NOTE: In case you smoke then - Smoking slows healing because it decreases blood supply and delays tissue repair.

Dear lybrate user, you may take coconut water for one month. Apply amla oil and coconut oil mixed in equal qty. Twice a week. Keep it for two hours and wash your hair.

for a diabetic it is best advised to have a diet planned as per the sugar levels, lifestyle and history. Though you can follow some guidelines - have small frequent meals. Do not fast for more than 2-3 hours. Avoid a very heavy meal at one time. Avoid fruit juices, aerated drinks or sugarcane juice, honey, jaggery or sugar. Fruits should be had as a mid meal. Avoid junk foods. Exercise and stay active. Do not attempt to try out too many remedies as you could go into hypoglycaemia. Sleep well. It's all a matter of discipline.
