Problem in joint pain of legs while sitting down on floor cause pain in both legs and pain in joint also.
Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Ankle pain. Our suggestion would be to do hot water fermentation along with Cold (ice) therapy. You shall also keep a pillow under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes.

Workplace Injuries - Its Prevention And Treatment!

Whether you work in a corporate office, a warehouse, a grocery store or a construction site, accidents and injuries are inevitable. There are a number of injuries that might occur in your workplace no matter how careful you are. Let’s take a look at some of the most common injuries and how you can prevent and manage them.

1. Falling
Falling down or tripping over something is probably the most common workplace-related accident. The results of this can be minor or major. In some cases, it can even cause a fracture. To keep yourself from falling, avoid walking on wet floors, try and keep all wires taped down and report any loose carpeting to your supervisor. If you do fall, ask someone for help while getting up.

2. Sprain
Muscle sprains and strains are common workplace injuries amongst people who work in grocery stores, warehouses, construction sites etc. This is usually caused by lifting a heavy weight incorrectly. Firstly, try to avoid lifting heavy weights on your own. If you must lift something, do not bend at the waist but squat and then lift the object. A hot water bottle is ideal to manage pain caused by a strained muscle.

3. Carpal tunnel
People who work on computers all days may experience a tingling or numb sensation in their wrist. This is known as carpal tunnel syndrome. Repetitive flexing of the wrist and the prolonged use of the wrist muscles are typical causes of this syndrome. To prevent this, take frequent breaks and use a lighter grip when working. If you are diagnosed with this syndrome, a splint may be needed to support the wrist.

4. Back pain
Many people who sit at a desk all day complain of frequent backaches. This is usually due to a bad posture and a chair that is not ergonomic. To prevent back pain, sit upright and vary your position frequently. When you take a break, stretch your muscles. Also, look for a chair that is adjustable and supports your lower back.

5. Headaches
Headaches can be caused by a number of factors. Improper lighting at your workstation could be one such cause. Headaches can also be caused by improper posture while sitting or standing. The first step to preventing headaches is to ensure that your workplace and computer is well lit. Using an anti-glare screen can also help. Lastly, arrange your chair and table such that you are not sitting too close to your computer.

Most injuries are often caused by carelessness, overexertion and distraction. Avoid going to the office when you are under stress or emotionally drained. This will prevent any further damage to your health and also help in avoiding any kind of workplace injuries.
