There is bony injury or no object was fall on me. By lifting weight of 50 kg it is been injured while keeping down I missed and I think the left part of my body like dorsum, lumbar (lower back), sacral (between hips), gluteal, perineal, inguinal (groin), coxal (hip), femoral (thigh), popliteal (back of knee), crural (leg), abdominal (abdomen), etc. Somewhere I feel that nerves is been squizzed or stucked the pain irritates me from down to the left shoulder till left feet. I feel too much of pain can you suggest me some medicine to cure.

The symptoms described by you do not point to a particular diagnosis. Stiffness & pain in back & other joints is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Get done mri. Picture will be cleared. If she has joint & back pain 1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. Life-style correction 1) correct your sitting posture. 2) take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) foot should rest to floor easily. 4) take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days.

Migraine needs to be treated medically. You may take green liquor tea with honey once or twice daily. Avoid coffee and other teas. Avoid all kinds of dairy products, yogurt, chocolate, eggs, citrus fruits, meats, cereals as wheat (bread, pasta, etc.), nuts and peanuts, tomatoes, onions, corn, apples, peaches and bananas. Avoid pickles. Among fruits, you should take cranberries, pears, cherries and pomegranates. Avoid extreme hot and cold conditions. Avoid strong odours, bright lights, smoke or dusts, altitude changes like mountain riding or travelling.

Avoid heavy foods in night, please make it a point that too bitter, too sour, salty, hot, pungent, dry and burning foods are to be avoided as such foods cause distress, misery and disease. Thus deep frying foods or foods taking lot of oil as in gravy vegetables, salty foods, spicy foods, long preserved, frozen foods, junk foods like pizzas burgers chips are to be avoided, make vegetables and fruits as your daily eating habit, best is to take cow's milk in night before sleeping and have a bath before going to bed, do not smoke cigarette, chew tobacco, tobacco containing masala, or similar intoxicants which can disturb rhythm of mind and disturb sleep cycle, please read the following about stress management and treatment: ---- when your stress goes flying out the window stress is so all-pervading in this material world that everyone is tortured by it. Stress takes many forms. We are stressed by health problems, financial problems, interpersonal problems and many more. The solution for all varieties of stress is to understand that its underlying cause is bodily consciousness, the false identification of the self with the body. As soon as one realizes that he is not his body and that his real happiness is based on harmonizing his consciousness with the supreme consciousness, and he then learns the art of doing this, his stress goes flying out the window to be replaced with profoundly sweet transcendental bliss.

There can be any problem ma'am. You have to consult a doctor. For some management you can start exercise in the morning at least 20 min, and avoid fatty and oily food, and tea.

Sir, eat fruits and vegetables. Go for regular walks. Do yoga, breathing exercises, meditation. Avoid mobile games, late viewing of tv. Get back to me with details of work, treatment taken till now.

Minimum eight hours sound sleep. That makes 16 hours for all other things. You certainly can mange your time properly avoiding lot of unnecessary time wastage making sleep as essential activity more when you have to memorize.

Hi doctor, I am not able to sleep properly since past week. I had a total of 20 hours of sleep in the whole week. I wake up in the middle of night and its extremely difficult to get back to sleep again. Even during the day, I don't get sleep and my mind is not at all active. It lost focus, concentration. I am taking too much time to think. I am having only avg of 2-3 hours of sleep a day. I changed my sleep cycle various times during last month. I had a lot of stress as well due to various interviews. Can you suggest me treatment.

1) have sweetened warm milk with jayphal at night. 2) apply cow ghee on soles of feet. 3) have a warm water bath before sleeping. 4) stop watching tv at least 3 hrs before sleep. 5) go to bed before 10 pm. 6) don't have tea/ coffee/ alcohol after 7 pm. 7) have early & light meals 8) go for shirodhara at a panchakarma centre near you. These all will help you sleep.

Your body clock has not adjusted to your shift timings, hence you have to make lot of trials for the best suited method. Stop taking tea/coffee after midnight. After reaching home have some snaks and lie down in the bed whether you get sleep or not. See that the room is closed and sound free. Lying in the bed you can have some light reading.

Myt be DOMS the reason. You should apply hot pack and do some stretching of tendon Achilles muscles before running. What you have to do for stretching is stand on your toes -try to hold fr 10 secs, repeat 10 times. All I wannna say. Involve warm-up activities prior running.

I am having stress and sleep problems over night at day time I am normal but when there is night time and I go to bed then my mind starts thinking something which I don't even want to think. I do enough workout and physical activities during day time so that at night I can have sleep but my eyes starts closing at 12 am but I am unable to sleep even I don't have tensions in my life then also thoughts comes at night time and one more thing if my mind is free of all thoughts then also I am unable to sleep upto 4 or 5 am.

1. You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2. You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3. Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4. Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5. Adhere to a specific sleep time and regular schedule 6. Take light dinner. 7. Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time. Have a glass of warm milk at bed time. 8. Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner. Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Read a light magazine or interesting book before going to bed 9. Avoid late night. 10. Don’t sleep in day time 11. Don’t take sleeping pill 12. If no relief consult doctor.

If there is no pain while the joints sound, then there is nothing to worry. But you can do brisk walking for 30 minutes daily. Eat you food regularly. Have regular sleeping time and waking time. Do not stay awake during night and do not sleep in the day time.

Hi lybrate user, I believe you have osteoarthritis which is degenerative /ageing process. Important is to grade osteoarthritis, if it is of early grade, many things can be done like viscosupplementation, prp /stem cell therapy, cortisone injection, genicular nerve rfa with strengthening of knee supporting structure. But if it is of late 3 or 4 knee replacement is best option than taking pain killers for pain suppression. Hope it helps.

Just do this small exercise: Sleep with legs raised up from waist against the wall straight up, making 90 degree angle for 5 mins. Its better you do in early morning, else you can do it anytime. This will make your blood flow increased towards brain and other vital organs and make you sleepy with 10-15 mins. For any more queries you are most welcomed. :)

Dear lybrateuser, - One should sleep for at least 7-8 hours at night - children require more sleep - a short nap for half to one hour in the afternoon is OK, more will lead to sleeplessness at night or one may not get sound sleep.
