Hello, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given. It is clear that with present treatment blood glucose is not in control as it should be. Ideally fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 160 to 180 mg & HbA1c% < 7 (not mentioned). There is need to either add some additional drug or change the treatment. Also look at your diet and extent of daily physical activity, that will also help in better control of blood glucose. As regards platelet count getting affected (no actual cont mentioned), so no comment can be made. None of the given drugs cause that side effect. It is better to test fasting, PP and HbA1c% and inform, then a proper suggestion can be made. That too if you come in a private conversation as in this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines and no prescriptions. Thanks.

I am 18 years old. Nd my height is 5 feet 3 inches I want to gain height. Pls tell me how I increase height.
Hi. As height can be gained till 21yrs. Of age in males and 18yrs. In females, so you do have 4yrs. More to grow further! start taking homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take without any side-effects - bakson's hite-aid and five phos. - both thrice daily and thuja 1m/ one dose once a week - take them for 4 months. Management: take milk and milk products which contains more calcium. More of protein (for cell multiplication) like pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts, flaxseeds, non-veg, eggs, etc. Also, don't forget to take green vegetables, yellow veggies and fruits, seasonal fruits, salads, etc. Do skip rope daily, initially 10-20 times later gradually and slowly increase the frequency as per your capacity. Do get indulge in stretch exercises, and sports like basketball, volleyball. Last but not least, do take enough of rest and sleep (which helps in repairing of cells and cell rejuvenation). Get back to me after 4 months for further guidance. All the best!

Hi . By your description it apppears that you may possibly have Rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is a serious disease which apart from causing pain in the joints (over the long term) can cause damage to the joints such that you are unable to use them even if there is no pain, damage to the lungs and heart ,etc. And hence needs to be treated proactively and completely not only ot avoid pain but also to prevent damage or complications to all these organs. This can be done best by a rheumatologist. If you let me know where you live I can give you a refernce of a nearby rheumatologist. You can contact me via my website www.Rheumatologybangalore.Com You can get more information regarding rheumatoid arthritis from the document below. Why Is Good sleep Necessary For Our Health

Why Is Good sleep Necessary For Our Health

Today’s post is about the benefits of good sleep. A good night’s sleep is incredibly important for health. In fact, it is just as important as eating healthy and exercising. Here are some reasons why good sleep is important.

1.    Poor sleep can make you fat: short sleep duration is associated with a drastically increased risk of weight gain and obesity, in both children and adults.

2.    Good sleep can improve concentration and productivity: good sleep can maximize problem solving skills and enhance memory. Poor sleep has been shown to impair brain function.

3.    Sleep improves your immune function: getting at least 8 hours of sleep can improve immune function and help fight the common cold.

4.    Poor sleep is linked to depression and hormonal imbalances: poor sleeping patterns are strongly linked to depression, particularly for those with a sleeping disorder.

5. Less self control and discipline: interestingly, lack of sleep also has a profound influence over our self control. Those late night fast food dinners are, many times, due to being too tired or having the willpower to resist the temptation. Having good self-control requires a lot of effort, which wilts away when you are sleep deprived.

6.    Lack of motivation and self drive: lack of sleep causes tiredness and thus in return effect our productivity at work.

The bottom line is that if you want to make being lean and toned a lifestyle, this is one habit that you need to get nailed down.
