Hi. I’m Divya Gandhi. I’m owner of diet and cure. I’m running this clinic for 4 years now. I deal with weight gain, weight loss and therapeutic diet.

 The first thing that comes into the mind when a person says ‘I’m on diet’ means that I’m starving. However, this is a misconception. People think that dieting means that they are keeping themselves away from all the delicious foods or may be they are just eating fruits and vegetables. however, dieting means that you are eating the right combination of foods at the right time.

There are a lot of people who come and they complain of high cholesterol levels and diabetes. I don’t say I cure them, but yes, there are lot of people who can control their sugar levels and cholesterol levels merely through diet. 60% of females that I deal with suffer from a very common metabolic disorder, which is PCOD.

What are the symptoms of PCOD?

PCOD is basically a weight gain, missing the monthly cycles or may be problem in conception. People say what exactly should be eaten. I would say that you need to avoid certain things and eat the complex carbs like, you need to be more on oats and dahlia, or may be at times, completely on the gluten free diet because it decreases your fat deposition.

Apart from it, avoiding fats completely is not practically possible, so we can have healthy fats as well. Like, we can have coconut oil, we can have olive oil, and then not taking any sugary product, sugary products like cakes, cupcakes, pancakes and things like that. There are certain other kitchen herbs also, which help in treating PCOD like cinnamon powder, fenugreek seeds, anybody who is suffering from PCOD can be at risk of having insulin resistance, so one should be taking the kind of food which will take some time to digest, relying more on fruits and vegetables, complex carbs, limiting the milk product is also an important thing for PCOS, and then eating at regular intervals,. You should be taking all the meals after every 2 hours. But those meals should not be very heavy, they should be something which give you satiety, you should not be overeating because after 2 hours, you will eating your another meal. The daily food should be a pack of protein, carbs, fat, vitamins and minetals.

My problem is related to sexual intercourse. I release suddenly as soon as I insert my penis during sex. But again after few minutes if I try to sex with my wife I do get more controlling power and I do not release soon. I did lot of googling to get a solution for this premature ejaculation and as mentioned in google. I tried STUD delay spray. But it did nt work. I only got numbing feel. I also tried to control on my breathing techniques and even it did not help. Im very active on bed but I also want to enjoy more in my first attempt. Is there any better way I can control this? Any advice?

If your only maintain your diet you can reduce your weight very easily with some exercise. 1- take green tea 3 times / day. 2- avoid sweets, chocolate, ice creams or cold drink. 3- take only home made food like roti, sabji, daal, chawal (brown rice). 4- take heavy meal in breakfast, do not skip breakfast, and litter meal in night. 5- take dinner atleast 3 hr before sleep. 6- don't take tea, coffee. 7- with this diet plan walk atleast 30 min morning and evening. 8- you will see the result within 10 day.

I think you have an emotional eating disorder. You need to identify the emotion that is behind the excessive eating: are you sad, angry, afraid or happy that you tend to want to eat every time? When you have done that it is as simple as addressing the feeling that feeds into the over-eating and you will cease to have a problem. This can be done with a counselor, ideally. Many of us over-eat when emotionally distraught. I don't know if you are over-weight and for some people weight gain is an effect of the depression. Apart from that it is likely that your metabolism might have reduced considerably making you susceptible to gain weight even with small quantities of food. If you still want to eat (I mean healthy food of course), you can consume more, if you did some noteworthy exercise, after getting approval from your doctor. Exercise boosts your metabolic rate and help produce anti-depressant quite naturally. Foods also boost metabolism: egg whites, lean meat, water, chili peppers, coffee, green tea, milk, whole grains, and lentils. Cucumber is a zero calorie food and takes long to digest and much metabolism too. If you have it before each meal and any amount too, it will curb the amount of consumption - even tea and coffee has that effect. Even so, the addictive aspect of eating involves the obsession and compulsion i.e. your mind will be always thinking about food and then it will feed into a compulsion to consume something. So, if you occupy yourself, (not busy) then the mind will not think too much on food and therefore it will negate the compulsion.

It depends how much reduction required to correct your uneven teeth. Slight amount of enamel reduction does not create any problem but more amount of reduction is not beneficial. It create lot of problem.

Hello. It is called criptorchidism. But not frank one. Means. Your one testis is smaller but other is fine. Well. It is 100% absolutely normal and your sex life will be normal. There is no problem in making kids and all so do not worry. Just forget it.

1) start with washing the face 5-6 times a day. 2) take an enema for first 6 six days. 3) eat only fruits for these six days. Still better course will be to sustain on plain water for 2-3 days and then start on fruit diet. 4) apply steam on the face once every day for first six days and then twice a week. The method for applying steam is as follows: 5) take a vessel (topia or pateela or bhagona) of about 2 kg capacity. Fill it half by water and put it to full boil. When water starts to boil cover the vessel and put it on a table. The patient sits on a chair and covers his head, shoulders, upper back and the vessel by a thick multi folded bed cover. It should be large enough to not to let the steam escape from sides. Open the vessel cover a little at a time, keeping the face close to the vessel. Inhale steam through mouth and exhale through nose. Continue opening the vessel a little more at a time till it is completely open and the flow of steam stops. Wash the face with cold water. 6) come back to regular food but completely avoid spicy, fried foods. Eat lots of salads (not less than 200 gms with every meal) and fruits. Avoid fried foods, sugar and maida. 7) if you continue this way not only the pimples will go, the general health will also improve. The patients will experience reduced bouts of cold and cough. Sinus congestion will also be removed.

Dear excessive weight gain occurs only when calories intake are more than calories burnt, It can put a person at risk of thyroid disease, diabetes , kidney problems, arthritis etc... Dear to decrease weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach daily. 3. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 4. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 5. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 5 min per asana. 6. Do brisk walk early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 7. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 8. Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice. 9. Drink three litres of water daily 10. Research-based strategies to boost your memory and keep it strong 7 Strategies for Remembering 1. Become interested in what you're learning. We're all better remembering what interests us. Few people, for example, have a difficult time remembering the names of people they find attractive. If you're not intrinsically interested in what you're learning or trying to remember, you must find a way to become so. 2. Find a way to leverage your visual memory. You'll be surprised by how much more this will enable you to remember. For example, imagine you're at a party and are introduced to five people in quick succession. How can you quickly memorize their names? Pick out a single defining visual characteristic of each person and connect it to a visual representation of their name, preferably through an action of some kind. Remember: Memory is predominantly visual. 3. Create a mental memory tree. If you're trying to memorize a large number of facts, find a way to relate them in your mind visually with a memory tree. Construct big branches first, then leaves. Branches and leaves should carry labels that are personally meaningful to you in some way, and the organization of the facts ("leaves") should be logical.. 4. Associate what you're trying to learn with what you already know. It seems the more mental connections we have to a piece of information, the more successful we'll be in remembering it. This is why using mnemonics. Write out the items to be memorized over and over and over. 5. When reading for retention, summarize each paragraph in the margin. Though you may identify yourself as a "morning person" or "evening person" at least one Study. suggests your ability to memorize isn't influenced as much by what time of day you perceive yourself to be most alert but by the time of day you actually study—afternoon appearing to be the best. 7. Get adequate sleep to consolidate and retain memories. Not just at night after you've studied but the day, you study as well. Far better to do this than to stay up cramming all night for an exam.
