Well, I'm doing a back office job in night shift which makes me sit alot and I'm just sleeping all day and work all night can't get time to workout. The problem is "I'm a smoker" and I've been doing it since 2011 on regular basis, averagely I smoke 3 cigarettes a day. These day I'm feeling like I'm burning inside my chest, too hot in there. Am I dying or anything serious is going to happen with me? I've tried several times to quit smoking but after 2 or 3 days I restarts it all the time. I can't run, I can't play games even I'm having issues while having sex, I get tired very fast may I'm having erection problem too. I'm too young to have all these issues. Please help me on this.

Dear lybrate-user, There are many who are on night shift and still working out. Nobody can make you work for more than 10-12 hours a day, Even if you spend 7-8 hours a day sleeping, you still have few hours for yourself. Try and start a work out program at the earliest. Along with lack of exercise, smoking adds to the risk of many medical problems at an earlier age. It is good that you tried stopping smoking. It is usual for people to restart after 2-3 days because they have craving and/or withdrawal symptoms. Both can be addressed in a systematic manner by nicotine gums and motivational enhancement therapy. If it is done continuously for 12 weeks, you may remain cigarette free for longer time. Quitting smoking may increase your sexual potency. Let us wait, till you stop smoking for 12 weeks. Otherwise also it can be treated.

Question lacks details. Kindly inform when you had injury. Pain is in leg or knee. Leg pain after injury while playing football can be a ligament injury to knee/ ankle or leg stress. Apply ice. Local gel rest for 5 days. Inform ankle or knee injury.

Hello. We can't reverse the established pathology back, but we can control the process in the stage it is so that it wouldn't grow further. Apply Bakson’s Rheum Aid oil gently (2-3 times a day) and take orally Bakson’s Rheum-Aid syrup/ 1 tablespoon thrice daily. Also, increase your dietary intake of calcium which is present in green leafy vegetables, milk, milk products, sea food, white legumes, dried fig, black-eyed peas, almonds, oranges, seasame seeds. And vitamin D which is essential for absorption of calcium in our body and is synthesized naturally after getting exposed to sunlight, so early morning sunlight for 10-15 min. 2-3 times a day is mandatory. Apart from this, do walk daily along with physiotherapy will also help you.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Not to worry, at this fracture heals properly. Give her calcium supplements, n calcium rich food, like milk n milk products, papaya, orange, green leafy vegetables and so on.

Hi I am suffering from chicken Gunya from 10th Nov. Although I had fever only for a day by my joint pains a lot. Both my right hand and right leg get stiffed and frozen that even if a cloth falls on my leg it pains a lot. I have taken allopathy med from past 20 days. 1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Learn exercises from Physiotherapist. 3. Do hot fermentation twice a day. 4. Apply volini cream before sleeping. 5. Don't sit on floor. 6. Don't lift heavy things. 7. Use knee cap if pain in knee Joint. 8. Wear lumber spine belt if pain in spine. 9. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum.

Please ask your mom to continue to use the involved shoulder and extremity as much as possible given her pain and range-of-motion limits. Applying heat or cold to her shoulder can help relieve pain. A physiotherapist can teach her range-of-motion exercises to help recover as much mobility in the shoulder as possible. Her commitment to doing these exercises is important to optimize recovery of her mobility. Most frozen shoulders get better on their own within 12 to 18 months. For persistent symptoms, go to a orthopedic doctor who may suggest: steroid injections or shoulder manipulation or surgery. Best wishes.

Is it since birth? or developed later in life. It could be due to cervical spondilosys rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take bio d3 max 1tab odx10days ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days do neck & back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. It may have to be further investigated. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

Hi, this is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try! if still the pain persists then you can consult the local physiotherapist near by.
