I get shoulder pain alot even if I do not do much physical activity. What should I do?
A number of factors and conditions can contribute to shoulder pain. Some minor shoulder pain can be treated at home. Icing the shoulder for 15 to 20 minutes, three or four times a day for two to three days can help reduce pain. Use an ice bag or wrap ice in a towel (putting ice directly on your skin can cause frostbite). Simple shoulder exercises can help to stretch and strengthen muscles.

Feeling of heaviness is usually when the pain is neural. You can start by hot fomentation for the back and the leg, tummy tucking exercise, heel slides while lying down. Avoid running on concrete and avoid lifting heavy weights for the moment.

I am 37 year old. And I get stiff neck problem more frequently and last very long.

It could be due to cervical spondylosis this is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do neck & back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Use of cervical collar will give you relief. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

Use wax bath therapy 15 days use insole (heal or foot insole) inside the shoe ok you get it surgical or orthopaedic shop ok purchase good quality better for you.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem. Describe your symptoms separately.

Hi She can take naproxen tabs twice a day after meals, apply systaflam cream to joints after hot fomentation calcirol sachets once a week for 4 weeks calcium supplements, like dosto calcium twice daily for a month. Use knee support or knee cap thanks.

When leg pain occurs after strenuous physical activity, you can simply apply cold compresses. This will help reduce the pain by numbing the affected area and control swelling and inflammation. 1. Wrap a few ice cubes (or a bag of frozen peas) in a thin towel. 2. Apply this pack on the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes, while keeping the leg (s) elevated. 3. Do this a few times a day. Note: do not apply ice directly on the skin, as it may cause frostbite. 2. Massage massage promotes faster recovery from muscle damage that causes leg pain. 10 minutes of massage therapy attenuates inflammatory signaling after exercise-induced muscle damage. In addition, massage improves blood circulation and helps relieve stress and anxiety. 1. Rub some warm olive, coconut or mustard oil on the affected area. 2. Using gentle yet firm strokes, massage your legs for about 10 minutes. 3. Do this 2 or 3 times daily as needed. You can also use a self-massage device or apply pressure to sore muscles using a tennis ball. Also take mag phos 6x - twice daily 4 tablets. Do a x-ray of the affected area.

for viral infection you should do regular warm saline gargle. have homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin C thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection. regarding TB consult a medical specialist for schedule of treatment and follow it. and colour blindness consult eye specialist.

Kindly take panchamrutalohaguggal tab, 2 tabs, twice a day after meals, chew the tabs for best results. Do massage with prabhanjanavimardana oil, twice a day. Avoid clod water and cold eatables in your diet. Avoid long hr sitting in a particular position. Do nasal drops with ksheerabala oil (101) avarti, 2 drops in each nostril, twice a day before meals , take steam before taking nasal drops. Continue the regime for 2 months. Stop fried food, sour food items, fast food in your diet. And try to reduce your weight. Stop taking meals after, 7 pm. Good luck

Dear lybrate-user, chances of good results with knee replacement depend upon x ray picture, stage of disease, implant used and experience of surgeon in performing knee replacement. She should do fine with good quality implants though it will be costly affair. There are implants which can last for 25 years or more. You should go ahead with knee replacement. Left talus posterior process fracture does it means emergency or a minor fracture heal itself.

It depends on how much dislocation has occurred between the two bone fragments. If there no dislocation and the bones are in line then no need to worry it will heal on plastering the ankle with no weight bearing on left foot. Generally it takes about 3/4 weeks to heal.

Hello lybrate-user you start mobilization exercise for shoulder and strengthening exercise for neck muscles. In addition to this you take care of changing position or moving your head and neck in all directions at regular 15 minutes intervals. This will helps you so much. Don't study or work like on computer for constantly more than 15 to 20 minutes in one position of head and neck.
