On last Friday I was in office party an had drinks more than I usually do. After sometime I went to vomit. First time it was food that came out but second time it was blood with water while vomiting. I thought it was due to chicken which I had or just might be color of it. But yesterday early morning I was in office when I observed small amount of blood in my saliva. It was first time and didn't come again though after that I felt blood coming out of my gums. Nothing comes up after spitting again. Pls suggest.

few advice to stop bleeding gums-- - visit to a dentist for professional cleaning once in a year - use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water to keep the area clean. - Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth.

How to make home made mouth wash, here you have mentioned mouthwash not advisable, which is available in the market. It may contain alcohol. We can make at home our own mouth wash. What are the ingredients for making that at home?

You can prepare various mouth wash like made from clover, Place cloves in a heat-proof container (such as a canning jar). Pour boiling water over cloves. Cover the container with a lid or plate and leave mixture to cool. Once cool, strain out the cloves and pour the clove-infused water into a clean container. Rinse mouth with approximately 1 teaspoon of the mixture. This mouthwash will keep approximately one week. A salt water rinse is not a mouthwash per se, but it is especially helpful for healing sore gums and ridding the mouth of bacteria. You can use peppermint, orange, lemon, lime… no need to boil it and it stores indefinitely. 10 drops essential oil mixed with 2 cups filtered water. Put in a dark bottle to store. Shake before use.

Sugary hard candies, like peppermints and restaurant mints, promote the bacterial growth in your mouth and actually contribute to bad breath. Opt for sugarless gum instead, which will promote the production of saliva and contains xylitol, both of which can reduce the oral bacteria that cause bad breath.
