Hello apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation .take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day. Avoid fermented food. Junk food.

Hi ~use elastic bandages (such as an ace bandage) to wrap your ankle. ~wear a brace to support your ankle. ~use crutches for walking till swelling and pain subsides. ~keep your foot raised above your heart with pillows when resting or sleeping to reduce swelling. ~get plenty of rest and do not put weight on your ankle. Still you don't get relief than visit physiotherapist as physical examination /xray may be required for further investigation. Do reply for detailed treatment plan. Wishing you a good health.

Hello friends, I am physiotherapist, Dr Anjana Gupta. I did my studies from SMS medical college, Jaipur in 1986. After completing my studies, I joined government job in JP Pant Hospital, attached to Molana Azad Medical College. I served the government of India for almost 12 years. Now I am practising in Greater Kailash 2. There I had enough experience in Orthopaedics and neurological cases. Today I am going to discuss Cervical Spondylosis neck pain.

The most common cause of the neck pain is our daily lifestyle itself. Spending 8-10 hours in front of computer in an incorrect posture can lead to muscle spasm. A patient has acute onset of pain and the condition can be so painful that the range of moment of the patient can be restricted, there could be a sudden restriction of a neck or sudden restriction of a muscle. The muscles get strained and the pain can go to the head, shoulders and arms.

Another cause of neck pain is an accident or an injury to the neck that can involve the muscle or the disc surrounding the bones.

The radiculopathy gives the symptoms of numbness, the tingling sensation in the arms or the area around the shoulders.

The Degenerative diseases can also involve the nerve in the arm and give rise to nerve symptoms.

Treatment of the Cervical Spondylosis depends  on the complete assessment, thorough examination by physiotherapist which check the trigger points. The trigger points are the very acute painful areas present in the muscles. The trigger points can be in the bicepes, or the scapular area, or it could radiate in the hands causing the Carpal Tunnel syndrome.

After the examination, we plan the protocol to relieve the patient from the pain. The main aim of the therapist is to relieve the acute pain the patient is suffering from. Our treatment plans are to relieve the patient from the pain and put him on a regular graded exercises for the strengthning of the neck or shoulder muscles.

We have different modalities in the physiotherapy. The modalities could be ultrasonic, Inter Ferential Therapy (IFT), Infrared and the numerous modalities. Or it can be the simple ice packs that can reduce the pain and the acute spasm in the patients suffering from pain.

I am practising in Greater Kailash, part-2. I have got my own Physiotherapy clinic. My clinic staff is well trained and is equiped with various physiotherapy equipments with the latest state of art equipments, we are here to serve the community, we are here to serve the people suffering from pain. I can just say to come in the clinic and give us the chance to serve.

Your weight 61 kg is normal. If your backache is not severe then you should do back bending extension exercises regularly. Use a comparatively tough mattress instead of thick spongy or springy ones. Do not bend forwards and avoid lifting heavy objects. If you follow this routinely then there should be regression of your pain and it will prevent any possible pressure on your spinal roots in future. An xray of lumbosacral part of vertebral column will help in finding any space reduction between the vertebrae and possibility of root friction with the discs due to prolapse.

Knee pain is referred to as a condition when the knee joints (which are responsible for walking, running, sitting and standing along with bearing the maximum body weight for most forms of physical activities) are significantly inflamed, giving rise to a severe pain in particular areas or the entire knee joint. There might also be severe stiffness around the knee joint which might make it very difficult to function.

Knee pain might occur due to obesity, old age, different forms of arthritis, severe injury in the knee or the associated ligament or bones, knee cap dislocation, overuse of the knee joint and infections of the knee joint.

Homeopathic Treatment For Knee Pain:

Homeopathy is one of the most popular holistic systems of medicine. The selection of remedy is based upon the theory of individualization and symptoms similarity by using holistic approach. This is the only way through which a state of complete health can be regained by removing all the sign and symptoms from which the patient is suffering.   1. Bryonia Alba – This homeopathic preparation is effective in curing knee pain with the symptoms of severe pain in the knee joints during walking. Pain stops when you stop walking or moving and you may also have an abnormal growth in the knee joints. If the knee pain is caused due to osteoarthritis, Bryonia Alba can prove to be a useful remedy as well.

  2. RhusTox – If the knee pain comes with the symptoms of severe pain in damp weather, intense pain after initial movement which tends to gets better in continuous motion, a prescribed dosage of RhusTox might help in the elimination of the pain.

  3. Colchium – The medicine is useful in treating knee pain which worsens due to movement and subsequently improves in warm weather or after getting appropriate rest.

  5. Lachesis – If the knee pain is caused due to rheumatoid arthritis, Lachesis can be an effective treatment. Lachesis can also be prescribed if the pain is accompanied with an abnormal growth around the affected area.

These are just a few of the commonly used Homeopathic remedies and are mentioned only to create awareness about the effectiveness of Homeopathic medicines for Knee Pain. It is not advisable to resort to self-medication for any disease.

You need to give hot water bag fomentation and take calc phos 6x 3 tablets for 3 times in a day for 2 weeks. You will be alright within 2-3 days, but please continue it for 2 weeks for further avoid any such damage.

Kindly show me photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days, then contact me again.

Some mornings I get up with a very stiff lower back. I am 64 & have 2 lower back vertebrae degenerated. But some mornings i'm good. Any suggestions. I have a good healthy heart. Rarely take medicines. By god's grace, cholestrol & diabetes are in the band though above the mean line. I have a" nuga best bed" that I use a couple of times a week. Please advise.

My advise to you is to: - to maintain proper posture of your lower back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication which suits you - physical therapy with intensive back exercise, abdominal strengthening and general conditioning ex initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc in case you are having back pain. Hello. Take homoeopathic medicine rhus toxicodendron 30 (3 drops four times a day) kali phosphoricum 6x (5 tablets three times a day) take them hor 10 days. Take them one hr after meal. Make a gap of 15 mins between above medicines. Update me after that for follow up. Good luck in life.

If someone 24 is experiencing chest pain, rib pain, and arm pain more after being prescribed Trazodone, Hydroxyzine, and Citalopram should they let it go if it's the second day noticing these symptoms. Someone at 24 is taking strong pain killers with anti anxiety medicines, the heart remains calm while effect of medicines last, but beats faster later. Do not take these medicines, get basic tests for heart done- ecg, echo followed by stress test, bp check up, blood tests for sugar & total lipids, get back here for more guidance.

Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.
