I had fissure over a months. Taken a lots of medicine nothing is been happened. What to do.

Background reason for fissure to occur is the hard motion. Rather most of the anorectal problems like fissure, piles or fistula occur because of hard motions, constipation and the habit of straining at stools. Our diet if enriched with natursl fibers will retain small quantity of water and stools will become soft and in a way become easy to evacuate. Carrot, cucumber, raddish, beat, green leafy vegerables like spinach have plenty of natural fibers and help evacuation. If inspite of taking such a healthy diet if the habit of straining continues, then its a time to evaluate further. Examination by a surgeon which includes anoproctoscopy may be followed by anorectal manometry and defecogram depending on the findings of earlier evaluation.

I have digestion problem. Whatever I have also I am not getting digest. By that problem am facing stomach pain and sometimes stomach will be tight and uneasy.

Hello, I am giving you general health advises for proper digestion: 1.Take small frequent meal kindly take 5-6 small meal in whole day 2.Take 6-8 glass of water in a day 3. Moderate physical activity regularly 4.avoid excessive tea, coffee 5. Do Not postpone Breakfast 6.Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food 7.Take home made light food like moong dal, Dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. I am 34 years old I am getting burp along with hiccups and getting acidic reaction in the middle lane please tell me any solution.

1.Take bland diet, Avoid foods which cause acidity like spicy, oily, fatty and junk foods, onion, garlic, citrus fruit like orange grape, lemon, tomato,cucumber, raddish, vinegar, pickle etc 2..Have proper Breakfast, Don’t skip or postpone your meal, Take home made food, Avoid food and water from outside, 3.Eat food slowly, don’t rush, take smaller meals at frequent intervals like 5-6 meals per day, and don't overeat.limit fluid intake during meal 4.Drink plenty of water(8-10 glass daily). Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee, carbonated drinks if you are having, 6. Avoid stress, have adequate rest, sleep for 7-8 hours daily in night, go for regular exercise, practice yoga/meditation 7. She is overweight even after having normal food. And she even have problem in periods, the bleeding last only for a day or two. And she has no intimate feel. I am 40 years old female there are some wounds in my throat and upper side of mouth. It is very painful when taking food. Already I am suffering from acidity. Took the following medicines but not cured. 1. Supradyn tablets 2. Opta-d tablets 3. Caramicide oral liquid.

Do you mean oral ulcer in mouth? what do you mean by wound in throat - feeling like sore throat - foreign body sensation in throat? if so, take betadine gargles, tab. Rablet twice daily for 5 days and tab. Becosule twice daily.

How to get rid of gastric, what is the best home remedy for this to cure acidity. I use to drink Eno when I get acidity. Will have food not in time. Sometimes late sometimes early as we are working so no proper time.

I go to bathroom to empty my bowels every time I eat something or when I have tea or coffee. I feel discomfort in my stomach after eating and then I go to bathroom to empty my bowels. I find difficult to eat home made foods but I greatly enjoyed junk foods, As I eat vegetables like brinjal and capsicum i. I feel irritation in stomach. I do not like this feeling because it arises every time I had breakfast, lunch or dinner. And I even empty my bowels in the morning but I was having the habit of holding stool in childhood, so is this due to stool holding? What are the disadvantages of holding stool?

Dear friend, holding stool causes many problems. Loss of appetite, piles etc are few of them. You have to go many times because there may be swelling in the intestine or any infection. I faced a lot of gas problem, indigestion & a little watery stool since one years after regular interval of times. Doctor prescribed me antibiotics & pro biotic tablets but its ok in the period of taking medicine. So what medicine can I use for cure.

Ulcerative colitis causes, Reason for disease and Treatment? Can effect this disease in Reproductive health?

The cause of this condition is unknown. Researchers no longer believe that stress is the cause. Today, research focuses on the immune system and heredity for possible causes. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic condition. Treatment usually involves drug therapy or surgery. The goal of treatment is to reduce the inflammation that causes your symptoms. Some ulcerative colitis medications can affect fertility. Men who take azulfidine (sulfasalazine) to treat ulcerative colitis might find that their sperm count or sperm function is negatively affected. These symptoms generally cease after the medication is stopped. However, it's possible for pregnancy to occur even if a man is on sulfasalazine, but it's still an important caveat. Your sex drive might be decreased. Medications such as prednisone can negatively affect sex drive. Additionally, ulcerative colitis can make one feel fatigued, weak, and simply not in the mood for sex.

Sir, After I eat food, a lot of gas is formed in my abdomen. It comes out immediately i.e does not go to stomach to cause any pain. Also it is very fowl smelling. Usually it was after having any food but sometimes it happens more frequently. I feel a bubbling sensation in abdomen indicating the gas is formed and then after few seconds it comes out. I don't have loose motion but it is not completely solid either. Also, last to last year I had suffered from jaundice and after few days after recovering that time also I had faced a same problem. Also, I don't remember exactly but I think this problem has started after I had consumed chicken for few (3-4) days in dinner regularly. The problem has persisted for more than 25 days. Sir, you are kindly requested to give your valuable advise as to what is the problem and weather it is curable. I fear that my liver is getting weak. Awaiting your valuable advise.

Dear Lybrate user. Based on the symptoms you are suffering with bloating disorder IBS. You need 14 days course of gut antibiotic along with bloating controlled drugs. Try to avoid those food products which causes you this symptoms. Avoid dairy products for few days. Complex carbohydrates like potatoes, onions, pulses, legumes. Drink plenty of water. Avoid broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage. Eat lean meat, soya milk, lactose free milk. Consult me if you need any medication or further management. Hope the information may help you.

I have pcod and I have been told to shed my weight and whenever I start loosing weight I regain it 1 week before my periods start and also then I suffer from gastric issues. Please help.

You need to have diet plan based on your BMI & activities. Whatever we eat is metabolised by the body for the energy needed to do daily work and the excess is stored as fat. Abdomen is the first place to gain weight and last to disappear. In brief, Weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs / chest etc. To burn off fat. Some tips 1) Drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) Take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take 1/2 of your total diet as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. And do aerobic exercises, running, jogging or at least walking briskly 3-5 KMs and swimming if possible, and in a gym if feasible. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise & dieting to take just as mush food as needed for your activities. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests.
