Suddenly pain has started in my tail bone area from last 3 days. Particularly while changing posture I. E sitting, getting up, lifting legs, changing posture while sleeping, getting into the car.

Requires detailed examination & investigations. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid, vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful. Use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1 tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that the patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that patient is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5 days, inform.

Leg pain seems to be Abrupt start/ stop of physical exercise/ cycling You can do Hot fomentation twice a day for 3 days For Stomach Pain This may be because of acidity/ indigestion/ gas or it may be muscular pain Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. we may need to start medications after personal consultation

It is actually not usual for the pain relief to be permanent, although this can happen. Patients often find that after some time the pain may return, in which case, after a period of several months, the procedure may be undertaken again. There is no one single response to this procedure, it depends on various factors including the specific nerve or nerves and any damage that they have experienced.

I have leg pain very often. I am 24 years old & I used to play cricket every week but the pain is very severe.
Most leg pain results from wear and tear, overuse, or injuries in joints or bones or in muscles, ligaments, tendons or other soft tissues. Leg pain can also be caused by blood clots, varicose veins or poor circulation. To relieve mild pain: stay off your leg as much as possible apply an ice pack or bag of frozen peas to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day elevate your leg whenever you sit or lie down please go to a physiotherapist if: you have pain during or after walking you have swelling in both legs your pain gets worse your symptoms don't improve after a few days of home treatment you have painful varicose veins if you feel the pain is from muscle cramp then you need to drink a lot of water because poor fluid intake (dehydration) may predispose to cramps also low blood levels of either calcium or magnesium directly cause cramps.

Mr. Lybrate-user its only fron 3 days do not worry. Apply heat fermentation along with diclofenac ointment twice a day. If not you can also take ultrasonic therapy to reduce pain.

The lower back consits of the end spinal segments, the sacrum coccyx, the muscular and neuro-vascular structures mainly. All these are important so as carry out the basic function of the back that is bending forward, carrying your body weight around, etc. If any of these are affected you may pain, tingling numbess, weakness,etc. As you have mentioned that the MRI was essentially normal, you can focus on the following line of treatment. 1) strengthening of the lower back mucles 2) strengthening of the hamstrings and the quadriceps 3) both above things will require a good physiotherapist 4) reduction of wieght if you are overwieght 5) avoidance of the repetitive strain like bike rides, faulty postures etc 6) for current pain management try hot fomentation, change of mattress, and any of the good over the counter muscle relaxant advised by your physician. Hello, knee is most remarkable complex joint of body heavily dependent for stability on ligaments intra-articular and extra-articular stabilisers. In squatting position knee gets heavily stressed. Obesity also increases instability of joint. You must visit qualified physiotherapist for proper knee examine. Avoid squatting position.

Apply hot pack Avoid bending forward & lifting heavy objects. Always remember whenever you need to lift heavy things firstly you should half squat then pull thing towards your body & lift it, never bend. Another precaution is when you are getting in & out of bed, first lie in sidelying position then lie straight. Do leg stretching & spinal extension

Hello. I'm Trimaya & from past few weeks I'm experiencing an unusual feeling in my right knee. When I sit & stand, a crack type sound comes. I don't feel pain while walking. I can run too. But sometimes sitting in car in a stable position for an hour my right knee pains a little until I readjust.
