Low bp is normal in pregnancy and means good blood flow from mother to child. Backaches r also common. She cant tk pain killers. She cn apply volini and do hot water bottle fomentation. I hope she is taking calcium n vitamin D3 medicines.

Hello, if you are suffering with fever from past 4 days then go for the blood tests:- cbc, mp, widal start taking ferrum phos 6x, 5-5 tab. Every 3 hourly. Revert with the reports.

My periods was on 22nd may and I did sex on 24th may means 3rd day of period. I want to know it is safe day for sex as I already read that 1st to 10th day is safe for sex. And I am pcod patient and taking ovralG from past 2 months. And because of periods I stop taking them till last day of periods.

Yes it is safe day. But make one correction only 1st to 7th day and 18th to 28th days are safe for unprotected sex and from 8th to 16th day the chances of getting pregnant are maximum. Sometimes due to less haemoglobin levels in blood it happens. Other common reason of this issue is, some girls develop a cystic growth on the ovaries due to some hormonal imbalence. This can be detected only by ultra sonography of her abdomen and pelvis.

I am taking infertility treatment in which Dr. prescribed me micronized progesterone for 10 days starting with cycle day 16 each cycle. Periods start 1 day after stopping progesterone. In aug i've to go on vacations & my periods are due at that time. Which medicine should I take to delay periods by 7 days. When & in what dosage should it taken. Can it be taken while continuing taking progesterone or I should skip progesterone in that cycle.

These are hormonal treatments you can not couple both the things together like infertility treatments and delaying periods first you decide what you want to do if you want to forego the infertility treatment for some time then only you should go in for postponing the periods

Dear lybrate user, a kidney stone is mainly formed due to the accumulation of the minerals present in urine. Such accumulation occurs mainly due to low intake of fluids. Continuous low fluid intake results in the deposits of the minerals over the stone & eventually leads to an increase in the size of the stone. Formation of stone leads to pain along the kidney region. If the size of the kidney stone is below 3 mm then it is possible to get rid of it without any surgery. Take homoeopathic mother tincture berberis vulgaris q, 30 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water for 15 days. The stone will be expelled through urine in between the span of 15 days of medication. But if the size of the stone is more than 3 mm then you should surely go for surgery.

Urine pregnancy test will come positive only after 7 days of meiised period if the test is negative then keep repeating test every week till she gets menses. You have to read it within 5 min of putting the urine and even faint second line is positive. There is no home test which can detect pregnancy before 10 days of menses. Blood test with beta hcg can detect 3-4 days begfore menses.

Hello, Kindly explain me - Is it happening for the first time since menarche? Since how long you have been suffering from this problem? Is there history of the same in your past as well? Any associated symptoms or complaints? Any medical condition do you have? Answer all these questions for proper diagnosis and proper treatment. Any nutritional deficiency can also lead to delayed menses. Also, if you are married and you do have active sexual life, get the pregnancy test done first and share the report with me. Meantime, suggesting you general tonics which will supply your body with calcium and iron - Five Phos. and Alfaalfa Tonic - take both the medicines thrice a day daily for 1 month.

It looks like your level of tolerance is quite high. If you are under stress you are likely to become intolerable and suffer with a short fuse. Meet a counselor to identify the stress. You need to identify why you get so angry. If this is a recent phenomenon, then it will be easy to identify what caused that disturbance and it can be sorted out. If it is from your childhood and you have suffered this reaction for a long time, then you will need to go back into childhood and find out what went wrong to make you so upset. Your parents will be able to help locate the cause. You can then go to a counselor and learn about anger management, which is not to control your anger but to learn to express it in appropriate ways. You must also examine yourself to see if you act angry whenever you are scared. This then means that you have chosen to escalate anger over your fear for some reason: it may have to do with feeling more powerful with anger than with fear or you may have received more attention by acting angry. Work on these issues and come out of this behavior through some counseling.

Maintaining health during summer :-

1.Stay cool and hydrated. Drink water, at least two to four cups (16-32 ounces) upon rising, and similar amounts if you are going out for activities and exercise. Carry water with you in a hard plastic container (more stable polycarbonate rather than polyethylene that leaches plastic into the water). You may also use a traveling water filter. Check your local water stores . Most people need two to three quarts of liquid per day, and more in hot weather or with sweating and exercise. Review Chapter 1 of Staying Healthy with Nutrition or Chapter 7 of The Staying Healthy Shopper's Guide for further information on Water.

2.While enjoying the sun and outdoors, protect yourself from overexposure to sunlight by wearing a hat and using natural sunscreens without excessive chemicals. Carry Aloe Vera gel for overexposure and have an aloe plant growing in your home for any kind of burn. The cooling and healing gel inside the leaves will soothe any sunburn. It works great.

3.Keep up or begin an exercise program. Aerobic activity is important for keeping the heart strong and healthy. If you only work out in a health club, take some time to do outdoor refreshing activities -- hiking, biking, swimming, or tennis. Reconnecting with these activities will help keep your body and mind aligned.

4.Enjoy Nature's bounty ? fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables at their organic best. Consuming foods that are cooling and light -- fresh fruits, vegetable juices, raw vital salads, and lots of water -- will nourish your body for summertime activities. Include some protein with one or two meals. There are a number of light, nourishing proteins that don't require cooking. Most of these complement fruits and vegetables nicely-- nuts, seeds, sprouted beans, soy products, yogurt, kefir, and cottage cheese. Fish and poultry can also be eaten.

5.Take some special summer time with your family, kids, and friends who share the
enjoyment of outdoors. Plan a fun trip if you're able and motivated for a day or longer -- hiking in the wild, camping, playing at the river, or a few days resting at the ocean. Rekindling our Earth connection has benefits that last beyond this season, continuing to enrich the whole of your life.

6.Relax and breathe. You've been working hard. This is the season to slow the pace a bit and absorb the light that stimulates your hormonal message center. Leave your cell phone at home or take a week off from TV. In many European countries, most of the population has a month off during the summer.

7.Sun teas are wonderful. Use flowers and leaves (or tea bags) in a clear half- or one-gallon glass jar filled with spring water. Hibiscus or red clover flowers, peppermint, chamomile, or lemon grass are all good choices, or use your local herbs and flowers that you learn are safe, flavorful, and even medicinal. Leave in the sun for two hours or up to a whole day. Moon teas can also be made to enhance your lunar, dreamy side by letting your herbs steep in the cooling, mystical moonlight. Add a little orange or lemon peel, or a sprig of rosemary and a few jasmine flowers.

8.Nutritional supplements can support you with a greater amount of physical energy, enhancing your summer activities. The B-complex vitamins are calming to the nervous system and helpful for cellular energy production, while vitamin C and the other antioxidants protect your body from stress, chemical pollutants, and the biochemical by-products of exercise. Helpful summer herbs are Siberian ginseng as an energy tonic and stress protector, dong quai is a tonic for women, hawthorn berry is good for the heart, and licorice root will help energy balance and digestion.

9.Use the summer months to deepen the spiritual awakening begun in the spring. Begin by checking your local bookstore or the web for ideas that interest you. Plan a vacation that incorporates these new interests and provides you time to read, relax, contemplate, and breathe.

10.Above all, give yourself the time to truly experience Nature. This can happen, even in a city park, if you relax and let in your surroundings. When traveling, take activities for the family and your first aid kit for bites, bee stings, and injuries. Check for ticks after your hikes. Watch for overexposure, take time in the shade, and drink your water.

Stress - How Ayurvedic Remedies Can Help Combat it?

One of the major pitfalls of modern professional as well as personal life is stress. With obesity and bad diet, stress completes the unholy trinity of the three pronged problems which contributes to many modern lifestyle related disorders. Even if you control obesity and diet through lifestyle changes, stress is inherent in our everyday life and mostly is not in your control. 
However, Ayurveda has some great methods through, which you can limit or minimize stress and limits its effect on your mind, body and soul.

Ayurveda - The holistic approach to stress
Ayurveda has been around for thousands of years and is thus, a great tool to fight or reduce many of the physical and mental ailments that afflict you. Ayurveda’s approach at busting stress is thus, very well rounded. These methods help keep your mind still to reduce stress and also reduce the ill effects of stress on your body. Some of the elements of this holistic diet are mentioned below:

  1. Change your diet: Stress creates craving for unhealthy food, which is either very spicy or has a lot of processed sugar or fat. It is a temporary fix, which is again required when the next bout of stress hits, resulting in a pattern akin to addiction. One of the first steps is to break the cycle by changing eating habits. Stress occurs as a reaction to adversities in the world and rather than food aggravating the vata, pitta and kapha doshas, it should pacify and balance them. Whole and healthy food is what you need in such a case and it can comprise of
    • Soups
    • Root vegetables
    • Stews
    • Simple foods such as rice or roti
    • Green vegetables among others
  2. Drink herbs in form of beverages to reduce stress: There are many forms of Ayurvedic herbs, which can help combat stress. One natural response among many people when stressed is to consume coffee or tea in large quantities, which may actually aggravate the problem. Try drinking Ayurvedic herbs as tea, which have been specially formulated to combat stress and correct the unbalanced doshas within the body.

  3. Try Aromatherapy: Incense sticks and other specially formulated aroma candles can be used to create a relaxing atmosphere in your home where you can sit and meditate while the pleasant aromas and the herbs within them can lower your stress level and act as a release point. 

  4. Abhyanga: This is a form of self-massage with the help of specially medicated herbal Ayurvedic oils. It helps the body by relaxing the muscles, lubricating connective tissues and also improving circulation. Abhyanga reduces stress within the body and keeps you calm and relaxed. This will help you to reduce stress and also handle it better on a daily basis.

  5. Pranayama, yoga and exercise: One of the most effective tools to combat stress and improve your physiological condition is through yoga and pranayama. Pranayama in particular is one of the most effective methods to regulate multiple functions of the body and to ensure your mind stays still and calm. Certain yoga poses can also be emphasized on to ensure better stress relief. Also ensure that you diligently follow your exercise routine daily as it is proven to be one of the most effective ways of combatting stress.

  6. Herbs: Certain herbs can be used as medications, which can restore the balance of doshas. Sometimes, stress is caused due to internal problems rather than incitement from the outside world.  Some of the herbs that can be used in medicated combinations in such cases are triphala, ashwagandha and brahmi. Hello. There are many reasons of hairfall, like dandruff, nutritional deficiencies, environmental factors like continuous exposure to ac or sunlight etc. So firstly check for those factors and try to avoid those. Avoid salty and spicy food items. Take healthy food and dry fruits. Start with 1. Amalaki rasayan powder 1 tablespoon followed by warm milk 2. Keshkanti oil of patanjali ayurved for local application shampoo I can use according to your scalp condition.

For increasing your weight Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

Sex is one of the natural need of life. If you donot have it than yes you may have nightfalls or ejaculation at other times which is completely alright. So I do not think that its a problem and yes you need to understand and henceforth accept the normal human physiology.

Menses can be missed either because of hormonal changes or illness like urine infection or even stress or even if you have put on some weight in recent times then also menses can be missed. All these problems are temporary and menses will come on its own. You can wait for another 30 days before you can take tablet deviry to get menses, if pregnancy is not the issue here.
