Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If no relief in 4_5 days, then inform again.

You may be able to avoid back pain or prevent its recurrence by improving your physical condition and learning and practicing proper body mechanics.

To keep your back healthy and strong:

Exercise. Regular low-impact aerobic activities — those that don't strain or jolt your back — can increase strength and endurance in your back and allow your muscles to function better. Walking and swimming are good choices. Talk with your doctor about which activities are best for you.Build muscle strength and flexibility.Abdominal and back muscle exercises (core-strengthening exercises) help condition these muscles so that they work together like a natural corset for your back. Flexibility in your hips and upper legs aligns your pelvic bones to improve how your back feels. Your doctor or physical therapist can tell which exercises are right for you.Maintain a healthy weight. Being overweight strains back muscles. If you're overweight, trimming down can prevent back pain.

Use proper body mechanics:

Stand smart. Maintain a neutral pelvic position. If you must stand for long periods, place one foot on a low footstool to take some of the load off your lower back. Alternate feet. Good posture can reduce the stress on back muscles.Sit smart. Choose a seat with good lower back support, armrests and a swivel base. Consider placing a pillow or rolled towel in the small of your back to maintain its normal curve. Keep your knees and hips level. Change your position frequently, at least every half-hour.Lift smart. Avoid heavy lifting, if possible, but if you must lift something heavy, let your legs do the work. Keep your back straight — no twisting — and bend only at the knees. Hold the load close to your body. Find a lifting partner if the object is heavy or awkward.

I have closed tibial IMN surgery in right leg. Now after 3 weeks I have almost no pain on affected leg. So can I put weight on affected leg & how much time it will take to heal & when I will came back to work in company? in company no hard work but needs moving / walking for manpower handling pls help me.

You must start moving with the help of crutches. Weight bearing is allowed when fracture has united radiologically.

Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

I am 46 years old. I have sciatica pain. It is nagging pain on my buttock area. Back of the thigh and back of knee and also radiates to the bottom side of my right foot. All this pain killers only give you temporary pain relief and not advisable more than stipulated period because of their adverse reactions my opinion is to consult neuro physiotherapist and can take ift & vacuum therapy physiotherapy treatment for 12 days of 15 minutes duration each followed by spinal extension exercise once pain subsides usr only firm hard and even mattress for sleep

Dear sir, mouth cancers present as ulceration, over growth, bleeding, difficulty in swallowing or eating, Lymph node enlargement in neck region. For numbness you must see a neurophysician. One need to examine in person to understand what kind of numbness or swelling present, as it is not signifying any particular disease. There may be some tumours having paraneoplastic symptoms but can't relate without examination.

My neck hurts when I wake up in the morning. I sleep without pillow and we changed from spring mattress to ordinary mattress two months ago due to my neck pain. It is not as bad as it was when I slept on spring mattress but I don't feel fresh in the morning because of the pain. I usually sleep on my back than on my sides. No injuries.

Use cotton mattresses, as the last resort to your problem. You might be having axial neck pain due to spondylosis, for which you need to do neck stretching and strengthening exercises as advised by a good physiotherapist. Early morning walk in sunshine will help replenish your body stores of vit. D, a deficiency of which causes the body aches, lethargy and general fatigue. Take a diet rich in calcium and vit. D like egges, milk, non veg food, papaya, spinacha, ragi, soyabean etc. Hope this helps.

I am 10 weeks past open reduction internal fixation of grade 6 tibia plateau fracture. 2 plates and 11 screws are used. My problem is that I find now my foot toeing in by 45 deg. Due twist in tibia and lot of pain in distal tibial joint which was not injured at all.

Hi after surgery there is slight joint displacement which can be corrected by physiotherapy. For pain apply ice to ankle. Consult physiotherapist for gait training.

Dear, you can easily get fitness and health by following simple and very important tips: * take a diet rich with proteins carbs, vitamins and fats. In morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. In lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. In evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with fruits. In night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. * in morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. * for proper fitness, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. * avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. * do meditation daily to calm down your stress level. Do pranayam daily. You can take long and deep breaths atleast for 10 minutes in calm and peaceful environment. * avoid smoking & alcohol drinking completly. * for boosting memory, take 1/2 teaspoon of ashwagandha powder daily once a day.
