Hello, ointment is only temporary. If you r studying. Practice proper sitting posture. Take tab bone dk 60, 000 iu once a week for 6 weeks.

Iam 28 years female wth right knee partial acl tear. Now I met with an accident and got fractured of lateral condyle comminuted fx and underwent Orif surgery. Will I be able to walk again without any support. I mean after 8 months at least. Please be frank and reply.

it takes atleast a minimum of 6-8 weeks after surgery to mobilise your knee joint and depending on the healing to start weight bearing. by around 3 months if the fracture healing is satisfactory you will be fully weight bearing. hope this answers ur question

Hello Lybrate user, If wearing of sports shoes is not of any issue at your working place than I would suggest to wear a good pair of sports shoes instead of formal shoes. That will help you immediately and will see the difference. Secondly, do calf and plantar fascia stretches regularly first when you gets up from bed in morning and in between during prolong stand &walk. Do some contrast bath, release a fascia structure at your using a tennis ball .this will definitely help you. If you find any difficulty to understand the process which I mentioned above. Kindly do visit a physiotherapist near by you he will explain all the protocols. Thanks& Regards.

I have been through a accident my wrist is broke and doctor put a plate in that. Suggest me some exercise or food to have a healthy hand like before accident.

Wear wrist brace which will help to heal the broken wrist. Once the wrist fracture is healed then exercises can be started which can be dipped in hot water and you can do under water fermentation which will help for better movements. It looks like you are anaemic. And also you have to check with your vitamin and calcium levels in the body. If the bones are weak then automatically the pain gets triggered more as there is less energy during any metabolic activity.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Arthritis is a term used for inflammation of joints, you have to specify what kind of arthritis you are talking about? usually dietary modifications will not lead to major changes in inflammatory cascade, but your diet must contain adequate amounts of calcium to keep bones healthy. Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

You may be suffering joint pains from vitamin D deficiency or there may be other causes which will only be possible after assessing you throughly. Your uric acid levels are falling within normal levels. You may be suffering from rhematism, calcium deficiency, hypothyroidism, vitamin deficiences. And so on. Please consult a qualified physiotherapist or orthopaedic specialist or physician for further assessment. You may be required to get vitamin D injection to up your vitamin levels. In the meantime have well balanced nutrituous diet.

Good Evening Do regular exercises, and take proper nutrition. Actually according to research cardiac vascular system takes 75 years to get damage. But it's getting damage in our early 30 because of our negligence. Basic structural and functional unit of life is cell. We are not providing proper nutrition to our cells.
