I have recently started drinking alcohol (3 times) and its on 31st I tried a spirit (whisky) for the first time. I didn't drink much just about a 1 beer and 100 ml of whisky in a period of 3-4 hours. I experienced a reduced sensation or "numbness" on my face for some time. This was somewhat reduced when I woke up the next day and then it went away. Is this a normal side effect? Or should I see a doctor?

It's ok to experience this. These some of the effects of drinking alcohol. Check yourself for the same. The mentioned symptoms go away with the effect of alcohol. But if these worry you then you can choose to stop taking alcohol.

You need to improve the tone of the muscles in a rhythmical manner. If you do that with proper diet restriction nothing will happen to you. Body pain is there after gym activity due to tiredness and you need to consume good protein and iron diet in your body which will help you to break the fatigue and body pain. You have to reduce the weight by walking minimum 3-4 kms per day. Slowly reduce the weight and slowly avoid adding salt in the diet which will help you to prevent water retention in the body. Excess salt in general leads to water retention in the body which might be the reason for you legs to pain as the leg will automatically become oedematous. If you have leg pain then you have to rule out the casues for having leg pain. First of all check your weight and your haemoglobin levels, as Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there are no issues with the knee joint or back pain. If not if the pain radiates down the back of thigh and legs then it might be due to sciatica. Kindly consult the nearby physiotherapist. Hope you recover soon from the leg pain. Knee Pain: As arthritis is very common that you get generally bilaterally. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. Hand pain: This might be due to lack of blood circulation in the hands and we suggest to do contrast bath therapy ie. Immersing in cold/hot water in the interval of 3-5 minutes which will help you reduce the pain. Shoulder pain: You shoulder will become stiff and the movements would be diminished. For the right hand pain it might be due to carpal tunnel syndrome, where the pain will be felt in the wrist. You can do hot water fermentation/ wax therapy for shoulder and for the wrist pain (hand pain) you can do ice therapy which will reduce the pain.

I am working in office and continues sit in chair. Then I have back problem how can I solve it.

I am working in office and continues sit in chair. Then I have back problem how can I solve it.
Hello lybrate user, sitting for long hours in an office is a common cause for back pain. Initially you can take some painkillers for the same. Rest for one or two days may be required. Once adequate pain relief occurs, begin with some physiotherapy exercises for your back like stretching followed a few days later by gradual back muscle strengthening exercises. Your posture should be erect while sitting for long hours with intermittent periods of rest and stretching every hour for 5 to 10 mins. You should also use a chair with a good back rest for the intermittent periods of rest. Maintain your weight by balanced diet and regular exercises. Hope this helps.

I am male ,sir I have continuous back pain from 1 month ago when I stand or sit more time ,no pain when lying on bed, what is the reason for this sir.

I am male ,sir I have continuous back pain from 1 month ago when I stand or sit more time ,no pain when lying on bed,...
Please note that there could be several reasons for your back pain - injury/strain/standing/sitting too long at a stretch/disc prolapses, etc. I suggest you follow the below for your condition: take mag phos 6x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Also do x-ray of the affected area. Heat and ice packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately.
