Knee advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Thyroid is a butterfly shaped organ which is located in the neck region and produces thyroid hormones. Thyroid hormones have far implicating effects on our body and regulate our bmr ie basal metabolic rate. It is simply stated as the energy required to carry on the basal or basic functioning of the body. For eg our body requires energy for digestion and for digestion our intestines have to undergo peristalsis which is the movement of intestines to absorb nutrients from intestines. This energy is regulated by thyroid. So an important symptom of thyriod dysfuction is related to this basal function. If your thyroid underperforms ie hypo thyroidism then you are constipated but if it overperforms ie hyper thyroid then you get frequent loose stools. This explains the effect on only one aspect of body functions but thyroid has multiple effects in multitude of ways on our body. The trick is to just keep it right. Neither hyper nor hypo. Your reports points you are hypothyroid. But you need another test called anti tpo to confirm this. Your hair fall is linked to hypothyroidism. Hope this helps.

The Link between Posture and Technology: How your gadgets may lead to injuries?

In the technologically advanced era one lives in, it is pretty much easy to use up one’s entire day glued to the digital screens; right from checking the social media updates while commuting to sitting before the computer for everyday work. Yet nobody is aware of the fact that apart from creating a social gap, these electronic gadgets can take a toll on their postures too.

  1. You lean against your desks with your neck leaned forward in an attempt to grasp what is on the computer screen and your hand on your mouse scrunched up on one side. Sadly, human body was never designed to pose in such a consorted way resulting in adverse side effects.
  2. The head usually weighs 10 to 12 pounds on an average when it is balanced evenly over the shoulders. However, with each extra tilt forward, the weight on your spine might escalate up to 60 pounds and even beyond that. Excessive weight on the spine can lead to its subsequent collapse.
  3. Too much use of tablets and smart phones for swiping or texting can cause inflamed index fingers, thumb joints and tendons. You tend to suffer from wrist pain, enfeebled grip or popping sound while moving the fingers. Typing with one thumb without giving considerable breaks in between can also exert stress on the fingers.
  4. Hunched over, shoulders slumped and necks bent down are the ways majority of the people use their electronic gadgets. This can trigger misalignment of the spine aggravating your health. Spine protects the nervous system, coordinating and controlling various functions of the body. Any sort of disruption might render a drastic consequence.
  5. Poor posture impacts the ligaments and muscles in a negative way giving way to a series of complications such as gastrointestinal problems, back or neck pain or severe curvature of the spine, heightening the risk of arterial or pulmonary problems.

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. Walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for back pain:-along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan. Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful treatment for back pain:- homeopathic medicines are very helpful. They not only treat the acute stages but are also used for the treatment of chronic back pain. Selection of the exact remedy depends upon the individual symptoms of the person. So share the complete symptom picture for the proper treatment. In the mean time take arnica 200, 3 drops in the morning and rhus tox. 200, 3 drops at night for 7 days. Take care.

After a uterus & ovaries have been removed, patient will need hormone replacement therapy. The exact dose, a gynaecologist will be able to tell. Any way diabetes must be well controlled.

Make daily routine for exercises which keeps your back fit and healthy. Exercises for back includes. Back ex, abdominal strengthening, general conditioning, posture care, daily brisk walk etc. But it will be good if you start physiotherapy session and learn exercise for your back pain under supervision of skilled physiotherapist do reply for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. I have undergone transplantation one year back. The result was fine at tha time. But with the time I have again started loosing hair from. The back area nd from the middle. First reduce your smoking end drinking slowly stop this will help to you. This habites reduces calcium end minirales, vitamines from your body end causes difficiency.
