Yes if you have type 2 diabetes and your blood sugar levels are racing up and down like a roller coaster, it's time to get off the ride. Big swings in your blood sugar can make you feel lousy. But even if you aren't aware of them, they can still increase your risk for a number of serious health problems. By making simple but specific adjustments to your lifestyle and diet, you can gain better blood-sugar control. Your body uses the sugar, also known as glucose, in the foods you eat for energy. Think of it as a fuel that keeps your body moving throughout the day. Blood sugar highs and lows

Please note nobody likes to take medicines but you have to take medicines to avoid bigger problems in future due to high blood sugar. Continue yoga, exercises with healthy eating. If blood sugar levels are not controlled with lifestyle modification alone, you must take anti diabetic medicines.

Thanks for the query. Thyroid hormone deficiencey called as hypothyroidism is is a well known problem leading to excess weight gain. To over come this one needs to star treatment with the hormone levothyroxine. Since you have complained about weight gain during last few months, it is essential for you to start treatment right away. Hence if interested come back with following details like T4, T3 & TSH values, weight and height and any other symptoms being felt. Based on those details I will be able to guide in controlling the condition and regaining your original weight. You will have to come in a private conversation so that I will be able to prescribe the drugs needed and to give other specific advise. In this communication only general guidelines can be given. Can anyone please explain what is the meaning of hba1 level of diabetes patients.
Hba1c is glycosylated hemoglobin which indicates sugar levels over last 3 mths. Whereas fasting, post prandial sugar tests give idea about levels on that particular day only.
