I am feeling numbness in my right hand index finger for over two months. I mostly work with computers; also I suffer from vitamin b12 and d deficiency, for which I regularly take b12 supplement and taken vitamin d (60, 000 unit) 8 tablets in last couple of months, despite this medication the numbness persists. What else I can do for this?

Dear well it seems you have carpal tunnel syndrome and need to be evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon. You should undergo surgery asap to avoid further damage to median nerve.

Dr. earlier my RA was positive and ESR. But Anti CCp and Uric acid are always negative. My latest test came as RA, CRP, Anti CCp negative. ESR 29. Vit d 16. Sir my wrists pain alot and right hand fingers the joint below nails. Sir pls suggest.

It's very low and such low levels happens after very long time of pathology. You need vit d before any medicine. With vit d sunlight and homeopathy you can cure yourself permanently.

I want to know that how the report is of my mother from MRI findings of L.S Spine using T1 trin corr, T1,T2 weighted axial. Findings-1) Decrease in body ht of L5, L4,L3, L2 and D12 vertebra and mild anterior wedging with out any significant f/o marrow edema s/o compression# 2) Mild retropulsion of body of D12 vertebra causes minimal anterior thecal sac compression. 3) Moderate to severe disc dessication are seen all lumbar IV disc and small interior marginal osteophytes are seen around L4/L5, L3/L4, L2/L1 iv disc. 4) annular bulging of L5/S1 and L4/L5 disc with mild central disc protrusion causes minimal compression of anterior thecal sac compression. 5) annular bulging of L3/L4 disc causes severe narrowing of b/l neural foreman and mild compression of anterior thecal sac compression. 6) Mild bulging of L2/L3 disc causes minimal effacement of anterior epidural space and mild narrowing of b/i neural foreman. Now the following tablets and injections is given by doctor. Medicines are ultracet, problem strong, Gabaneuron NT and Arachitol 6L vitamin D3 injection. Can any one suggest weather these symptoms will be corrected with medicine and injection. She is unable to wake up from bed and can't sleep properly. She feels severe pain in lower back.

Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. - physiotherapy treatment like ift current can give you some relief. Knee pain is a common complaint that affects people of all ages. Knee pain may be the result of an injury or some other medical conditions including arthritis, patellar tendinitis, acl injury, knee bursitis, torn meniscus, gout and infections. Try some home remedies for your pain- - ice is useful for the control of pain and swelling. It can be applied to the knee for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. The swollen knee should be elevated above the level of the heart while icing. -activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities should be avoided until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting jogging aerobics, dancing playing sport specific exercises will help you improve range of motion, strength, and endurance. It is especially important to focus on strengthening and stretching your quadriceps since these muscles are the main stabilizers of your kneecap. Core exercises may also be recommended to strengthen the muscles in your abdomen and lower back. Also maintaining a healthy body weight to avoid overstressing your knees are very important. -a full history of your problems (back and knee pain) should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist. first of all do lots of breathing exercises it will help you to breath properly and avoid chest pain. If possible swimming is best exercise for you Do all the possible range of motion exercises and extension exercise follow proper sitting and lying postion to maintain posture Thanku

Hi I can understand your problem. 1) apply hot and cold fomentation. 2) learn strengthening exercise of quadriceps and hamstring from physiotherapist. 3) do regular stretching calf muscles. 4) wear comfortable foot wear. Do share investigation reports if you have.
