बेल फल, वास्तविकता में, लिमोनिया एसिडिसिमा नाम की एक जड़ी बूटी है। यह भारत के मूल है, हालांकि, वर्तमान में यह दक्षिण-पूर्व एशिया भर में पाया जाता है। व्यापक रूप से थाईलैंड, श्रीलंका और दक्षिणी एशिया के अन्य क्षेत्रों में इसकी खेती की जाती है। बेल फल के कई अन्य नाम हैं जैसे वुड एपल, बंगाल क्विन्स, एलिफेंट एपल और मंकी फ्रूट। भारत के विभिन्न हिस्सों में हिंदू भगवान शिव की धार्मिक पूजा में इसके उपयोग के लिए प्रसिद्ध है।
 

बेल के लाभ
बेल के सबसे लोकप्रिय उपयोगों में से एक शर्बत बनाना है। इस फल में कई औषधीय लाभ भी हैं, जैसे कि:
1. पाचन के लिए: 
यह आंत में कीड़े को नष्ट करने में मदद करता है, और पाचन विकारों के लिए एक अच्छा उपाय है। इसमें 'फेरोनो गम' नामक एक पदार्थ होता है जिसका उपयोग दस्त और पेचिश के इलाज के लिए किया जाता है। पेट के अल्सर या बवासीर वाले लोगों के लिए भी बेल की सिफारिश की जाती है, क्योंकि इसमे मौजूद टनीन सूजन को कम करने के लिए जाना जाता है। बेल की रेचक संपत्ति कब्ज से बचने में मदद करती है और उस स्थिति के बाद के दर्द, असुविधा और जुड़े स्वास्थ्य जोखिमों में मदद भी करती है।
2. रक्त के लिए: रक्त की शुद्धता और शरीर को नुकसान पहुँचाने वाले हानिकारक विषाक्त पदार्थों को निकालने के लिए बेल की सिफारिश की जाती है। यह रक्त में कोलेस्ट्रॉल स्तर को बनाए रखने में भी मदद करता है। बेल के पत्ते में फाइटोन्यूट्रिएंट्स होते हैं जिनमें रक्तचाप को बनाए रखने की क्षमता होती है। इसमें रेचक गुण है जो अग्न्याशय और इंसुलिन स्राव के कार्यों को नियंत्रित करके रक्त शर्करा के स्तर को प्रबंधित करने में मदद करते हैं। इसका शरीर पर हाइपोग्लाइकेमिक प्रभाव होता है और ग्लूकोज उपयोग और उत्तेजक इंसुलिन हार्मोन बढ़ाकर रक्त ग्लूकोज के स्तर को कम करता है।

बेल के दुष्प्रभाव
पोषण संबंधी स्वास्थ्य लाभ और औषधीय लाभ होने के बावजूद, बेल खाने में कुछ सावधानी बरतने की आवश्यकता भी होती है क्योंकि इससे कुछ दुष्प्रभाव और नुकसान हो सकते हैं।
1. अत्यधिक खपत से पेट में दर्द, सूजन, पेट फूलना, पेट परेशान, कब्ज और अन्य पाचन विकार हो सकते हैं।
2. यह गैस्ट्रिक मुसीबतों से पीड़ित लोगों द्वारा टाला जाना चाहिए।
3. बिना किसी ब्रेक के लगातार रोज़ाना लेने पर आंतों की पिस्टलास्टिक आंदोलनों को परेशान कर सकता है। बेल के पत्तों में टैनिन होते हैं, जो लंबे समय तक उपयोग करने पर कार्सिनजनिक प्रभाव डालते हैं और गर्भवती महिलाओं में गर्भपात कर सकते हैं।

There is no special diet chart for depression. For all mental and brain problems follow these Avoid direct sugars and junk food Take enough fruits and water. Include fish routinely if nonvegetarian Use sppliments of vitamin C, omega 3, and bcmplex.

To remove dark spots: • Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. • Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water. • Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result.

If anyone has obesity at the age between 30 and 40 , is it possible for them to become fit and healthy?
Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

Does popping pimples cause pimple scars? And does not touching them at all make them go away without leaving any mark behind? I usually don't get any pimples, but I got a pimple in between my eyebrows a couple of months back. I did not even touch it, and in a week, it went away, but left behind a mark right in the centre of my eyebrows. I have relatively clear skin so that mark looks really bad. I use lemon juice, honey, chickpea flour, tumeric, fullers earth, aloevera gel, oils, etc etc on my skin all the time, and those have definitely helped that mark get lighter, but it just won't go away. Is there any full proof way to just get completely rid of it? Thanks a million!

Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash once in a day. Use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar for 5 minutes after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

Use a broad spectrum sunscreen both indoors as well as before going out. It shud b both uva and uvb protective. Always use your umbrella whether its raining or not. Use a cap or scarf or your dupatta to cover your head. Protect your eyes with a sunshade. Avoid scrubbing your face. Do not steam or sauna. If you swim, use a sunscreen prior to it and after. Don't directly spray perfumes on your body. Spray them on your clothes and wear them. Don't use deodorants or roll ons. Avoid face cosmetics for the time being. You can press powder onto your sunscreen if at all you want to use a cosmetic. Drink two litres of water everyday. Pick up carrots, papaya, pumpkin, black grapes to have everyday. These contain important antioxidants and phytonutrients which vil soften your skin. Do not stress over anything. Pray-itll distract you off your stress. You can use this do it yourself mask at home which vil give you an instant glow. Mix 1 tbsp puree each of papaya and carrot with 1 tbsp of curd and 1 tbsp of aloe vera. Apply it across your face or dull body part for ten to fifteen minutes and wash it off without soap. Stop using smoothing products on your hair. They vil worsen your hair. Your hair needs a lot of your attention and care. Wash hair occasionly. Use lukewarm water, not too hot, not too cold. Shampoo hair twice or thrice a week and not more. Use very mild shampoos suitable for dry hair. Massage scalp to improve circulation and hair health. Eat right. Eat plenty of pulses, meat, fish, milk and milk products. Dry hair naturally and not with blowdryers. Dry hair with towel. Avoid crimping, perming straightening and curling hair devices. Avoid repeated colouring and bleaching of hair. Protect hair from excess sunlight with caps. Exercise regularly. Practice yoga to destres.

Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

The common reasons behind hair fall are lack of essential nutrients in the body, improper and unhealthy dietary habits, hormonal imbalance, certain medications, dandruff, alopecia and other scalp disorders, stress and tension etc. Natural oils such as coconut, olive, jojoba, almond etc. Can be used to massage the scalp for countering hair fall. Gently massage the scalp prior to head bath twice a week. Also check hemoglobin for anaemia and thyroid status with serum tsh. Have more proteins and trace minerals like copper, zinc, selenium in diet. Start taking a hair nutrition supplement. Keep stress away with regular exercise, yoga, meditation. Get the underlying scalp condition like dandruff treated.

Toxic Shock Syndrome - Know How it Happens?

Toxic shock syndrome is a severe condition resulting from a bacterial infection. This infection is caused by the bacteria, Staphylococcus Aureus, which enter the bloodstream. Once into the bloodstream, the bacteria start producing toxins in the body. This is common among menstruating women who have a habit of using super-absorbent tampons. It can, however, also affect men and children.

Symptoms
In case of toxic shock syndrome, one might experience symptoms of low blood pressure and fever. Dryness of the eyes and the mouth, muscle pain and diarrhea are also common symptoms of this disorder. Your blood pressure may drop suddenly, making you prone to fatigue and nausea.

Causes
This type of infection occurs when the bacteria enter the body through a cut or sore on the skin. Women who use tampons during their menstrual cycles are vulnerable as tampons happen to be thriving spots for bacteria if aren’t changed frequently. Fibers present in the tampons may also create friction against the vagina, thus creating an opening for the bacteria to enter the bloodstream.

In addition to the causes, there are certain risk factors for toxic shock syndrome:

  1. Presence of an open wound on the skin
  2. Giving birth to a child
  3. Using vaginal sponge or diaphragm as contraceptives

Treatments
This disorder is considered to be a medical emergency. To combat the bacterial infection, antibiotics are administered into the body via intravenous means. The course of the antibiotic treatment lasts for about 7-8 weeks. There are other treatments for this disorder, which mainly depend on the causes. If the cause of the disorder is a tampon or a vaginal sponge, then it will need to be removed from the body. In case of a wound being the cause, the pus from the wound will need to be drained. Blood pressure medications are also possible treatment modes for toxic shock syndrome.

You can also follow these preventive measures:
1. Replace your tampon regularly
2. Avoid using super absorbent tampons
3. Use sanitary napkins when the volume of bleeding is low
4. In case of wounds, keep the area clean and dry

Have water soaked 12 almonds to start your day go for a walk have lemon water with 1 and 12 tsp of honey in it have milk with 3- cashew nuts have as much water as you can have salad regularly
