To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

Many a times, working women due to their busy schedules seem to forget to have a healthy diet and tend to munch on unhealthy food items during their work hours. This should be avoided and working women should pay a heed to what they are eating so that you can avoid complications later. Hi lybrate-user deposition of fat at your belly, chin, buttocks add negativity to your personality so here are few tips to dissolve it. 1. Avoid using direct and simple sugars. Try to include complex carbs in your diet so the digestion process will take some time to work to convert it into glucose. 2. Avoid junk foods such as pizza, burger, french fries and alike food stuffs. 3. Avoid processed foods. 4. Avoid sodas. 5. Restrict down the intake of artificial sweeteners. Instead you can crab on natural sugars, such as stevia. 6. Include protein of good biological value. 7. Add insoluble and soluble fiber in your diet. 8. Have plenty of cold water. 9. Have 2 portions of fruits and salads daily. 10. Inclusion of omega family fatty acids and especially omega 3 and omega 6 11. One must rotate the oil used for cooking purposes and should not stick to one oil product. One must not change the brand but the source of the oil like palm oil, almond oil, coconut oil, soy oil, sesame oil, corn oil, groundnut oil, olive oil etc. 12. Citrus fruits must also be taken in proportions. 13. Add almonds to your diet. 14. Have coconut water once a day. 15. Eat at regular intervals.

I am a vegetarian, and have a more sedentary office lifestyle, with very less physical activity. My data -- Total/LDL/HDL was 201/140/35 a year ago and is now at 241/190/30. If you can invest some time for correcting your lifestyle, maybe you may not require any long term treatment. Here are some simple tips which can be very beneficial if done consistently. Do Yoga and pranayam for 30 mins. Learn it from an expert to gain good results. You can also choose any acitve sports or simple body exercises like stretching and strengthening exercises with 30 mins of daily walking. Restrict the calorie intake to less than 2000 calories. A balanced diet which is from healthy source is equally important. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables everyday. Sleep at regular time (7-8 hrs ). Maintain good hydration (8-10 glasses of water or a little more ). Go for regular follow up with your doctor. Avoid all kinds of stimulants like tobacco, alcohol etc. Limit tea and coffee to 2-3 times a day if you are interested. You can repeat the lipid profile after sometime. If needed then take the statins (meds for reducing the cholesterol) under the guidance of the doctor. Please do continue the above said lifestyle even if there is not much improvement in the lipid profile. Drink plenty of liquids, such as a sports drink or water, to prevent dehydration. If you have trouble tolerating liquids, take them in frequent sips. Make sure that you're urinating normally and that your urine is light and clear not dark. Avoid milk and dairy products, caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, and fatty or highly seasoned foods for this problem.

Dear , follow these important tips to get fair colour of face : * avoid to go in strong sunlight and if you have to go in sunlight then cover your face & exposed parts of body before going in sunlight. * Use sunscreen having SPF 15 on face especially in summer and spring season. * Take vitamin -E rich foods like dry fruits, egg and fish as you like. * Take more anti oxidant foods like fruits (Apple, grapes, melon) and citrus fruits. * Make paste of Papaya and apply this paste on face and leave it for 15 minutes. It brightens the face and lower melanin content. *• Apply one teaspoon of honey for 30 minutes and wash it off . • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi (turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water . Mash half bnana mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of sandalwood powder mix it well and make smooth paste apply it for 10 minutes then rinse off with water.

Start taking black til (seasam) with a glass of lukewarm milk early morning. Avoid pickles, spices, oily, greesy food items. Start avle ka murabba. Also have a high protien rich diet e. G. Pulses, dry fruits, black gram, ground nut etc. Also oil your hair with good herbal oil and wash with herbal shamppoo - avoid shampoos with high acid contents. As far as ayurveda's therapy is concerned - start with shirodhara with herbal oil and nasyam therapy for atleast 15 days. This will greatly help. Do gentle massage with herbal hair oil daily night for 15 minutes. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking.

With the monotonous workimg shifts of 9-5pm, we often forget to take care of our back which is an integral part of our body. As per the statistics, nearly 65% of the working individuals or it professionals suffer from tremendous back pain (low back pain) being the commonest. It is seen in young as well as middle aged population who sit on a chair without a good low back support and work on their desktops and laptops which are not even at a good level of their eyes thus causing repetitive stress and strain in their eyes leading to low back pain and neck pain. The main reasons are unsupported sitting on the office chair, improper position of the laptop, not taking enough breaks in between work schedule, not drinking enough water to stay hydrated which provides good nutrition to the discs of our spine!

Follow this simple step to relieve the constant stress and strain on the back

1. Mandatory to take short breaks in between work to ease out the stress on the spine 
2. Stand near the table/desk to perform back bending with hands behind the hips and gently bend your back behind without any jerks or discomfort. Move till the point of pain or discomfort and come back to your starting position. By doing so, you are reducing the pressure on your disc which is a red flag sign for spondylosis, disc herniation or other low back pain problems.
3. Hydrate yourself properly with at least 10-12 glasses of water daily in order to maintain the nutrition of the discs between the bones of the spine called vertebrae.
(this maintains the height of the vertebrae and does not produce friction between the two causing symptoms)
4. Always identify your symptoms like pain, discomfort, stress, tightness around the back, inability to do complete movements, stiffness, difficulty in walking or working on a laptop for long hours. Consult a physiotherapist for the same as exercises are the best way to heal any problem of the spine

How to gain weight is as difficult as losing weight. Inadequate feeding habits, prolonged meal time gaps. Poor selection of foods increased physical activity without increasing the food intake major reasons for being underweight. Follow it up with a heavy and healthy breakfast. Take moderate lunch and dinner. Keep taking light refreshment in the form of fruits and nuts in between. Don?t forget to give water intake its due importance. Banana, Milk, Eggs, including yellow yolk, Mango, rice gram, peanut, butter are helpful in gaining weight. Avoid unhealthy and junk food. Hello do cold fomentation for 15-20 min thrice in a day. Avoid using computer, take rest for 5 min after working for 1 hour. You can use thin pillow while sleeping. In pain free range do neck exercises. Maintain proper body posture while watching tv/studying. Revert me after 7 days. Thanks.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.
