Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

hi ravindra pain in toe nails... it is because when we cut our nail with nailcutter, we almost cut the whole lateral end(edge), as nature whole nail grow automatically after cut... problem is lateral end (edge),where we cut it, this portion entered in skin, it's very slow procedure so never felt what happening... edge of nail enter in skin and grow upto limit becauae within skin nail doesn't have so space... then it started paining... with swelling... with local infection.... plz concern your near by doctor,and remove whole nail... don't worry, nice nail will come with in a month... clean every day use magso4 with glycerin dressing thanks

Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

I get swelling in my feet if I sit on a chair and hang my feet down, or when I stand for a long duration, say an hour or two it becomes normal when I lie down and stretch my legs for a few hours.

These swellings are called as dependent swellings. A cardiac cause is not ruled out in this case nor you age factor. You should do following things 1) use pillow below your legs while sleeping 2) avoid long standings 3) go for a complete cbc test a kft, lft and check your blood pressure 4) in the mean time visit a nearby physician.

Symptoms And Treatment Of Osteoporosis And Gout

Are you aware of the health conditions - osteoporosis and gout? Both these conditions are associated with your joints and bones. They are both difficult diseases and require proper treatment.

Osteoporosis concerns the bones, in which the bones are at a risk of breaking due to decreased strength. This condition is quite common in elderly people with brittle bones.

Gout is a very painful form of arthritis and is featured by joint inflammation. The pain and inflammation occur due to the deposition of urate crystals in a joint when uric acid is present in excess in the body.

Osteoarthritis-

Symptoms:

The symptoms of osteoporosis include pain and stiffening in a joint and swelling in the joints, especially in the thumbs, neck, knees and lower back. A patient’s skin may turn red and he may feel unusually hot.

Treatment:

Combined treatments are prescribed for osteoarthritis. Treatment aims at improving joint function, maintaining a healthy body weight, reducing pain and achieving a healthy lifestyle. Regular exercise is important for reducing pain, increasing flexibility and for improving blood circulation. You should take measures to lose weight in order to reduce the stress on the joints which bear weight. You should take sufficient amount of rest along with proper sleep. There are other alternative therapies for osteoarthritis treatment without the use of prescribed drugs. Hot and cold therapy is ideal for easing pain and increasing blood flow. Some forms of massage therapies are also ideal for giving relief to osteoarthritis pain.

Gout-

Symptoms:

There are several symptoms of gout, which occur all of a sudden. Intense joint pain is indicated and the large joint of the big toe is especially affected. It may also occur in the feet, ankles, knees, hands and wrists. The joint discomfort may last even after the intense pain subsides. The affected joints get swollen, arm, red and tender.

Treatment:

The treatment for gout aims at relieving severe pain and preventing future gout attacks along with long-term complications. The treatment methods include medicines and several home cure methods. Specific treatment is also prescribed based on the intensity of attacks and for preventing complications. As a part of long-term prevention methods, you should keep on taking your prescribed medicines, manage your body weight, exercise regularly and limit your intake of meat, seafood and alcohol.

Osteoarthritis and gout require timely diagnosis and treatment if you want to prevent them from worsening. You should consult a doctor on experiencing any symptom of gout and osteoarthritis.

Taken break in between, do some neck and back exercise for some exercise, use ergonomics chair put computer in front of you and use good table.

Take a glass of water add jeera and ajwain 1 tsp boil it well then add a pinch of haldi and salt drink this slowly do the same 2 r 3 times per day your stomach pain will reduce. For leg pain - go for hot foot bath. (add salt in the water)

Hi 1) wear comfortable sports shoes 2) make daily routine of exercise 3) rule out calcium and vit d deficiency 4) do proper warm up before exercise and cool down after exercise 5) do stretching of legs do exercise under supervision of skilled physiotherapist. I am a 41 year male and having two major disorders. First is my constipation as due to uneven sheduled routine of my professional life I am working in shifts some time day some times night. And due to this I dont feel hungry also. Second issue is in 2007 I met with an accident and faced internal injuries in my right knee joint and my pcl was broken then in the year 2010 I had undergone surgery of high tibial osteotomy in mumbai as my tibial bone alignment got disturbed. First you need to loose weight, and for which you have to be patient. See a proper physiotherapist for knee issue, and dietician for proper eating habits. YOu should loose weight in couple of months.
