I become fat in jst 2months now I want to reduce my body but I cant please give me some suggestions.

Tackling obesity is not too tough. You don?t need to subscribe to expensive treatments to reduce obesity or to be completely cured. There are simple home remedies which can give you an absolute cure from obesity 1.The golden rule of weight loss is never to skip breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day and helps to provide a steady stream of energy all through the day. This, in turn, prevents unhealthy snacking. 2. To prevent obesity, there is no better option than physical exercise. Brisk walking is the best exercise to begin with. As soon as you wake up in the morning, workout for at least 30mins to an hour. Burn up unwanted calories by putting large leg muscles to work. 3. Honey is considered to be an outstanding home remedy. Make a mixture of two teaspoon of lime juice, one teaspoon of honey, in a glass of water, add some pepper to it & have it regularly the first thing in the morning. 4. Stop nibbling between meals. Train yourself to have less food. You will enjoy living on a reduced diet. Instead of eating only 2 meals during the day like lunch & dinner, try to eat 4-5 more small meals spaced 2-3 hours apart during the day. This helps to increase the metabolic rate of the body. 5. Spices like ginger, cinnamon, black pepper etc. are good for losing weight. Drink ginger tea 2-3 times a day. It is also a good remedy for obesity. 6. Two teaspoon of lime juice added to water also helps in losing weight. Have it frequently. Drink a glass of boiled water daily after every meal. It will also help you in naturally curing obesity. 7. Your diet should include green leafy vegetables, tomatoes and carrots. They are low in calories, but high in vitamins and minerals and have real food value. Increase the quantity of fruits and vegetables and low calorie foods that fill you up. Eat a tomato salad for breakfast. It can bring about fast weight loss. 8. Try to eat 10-12 fully grown curry leaves every morning for 3 to 4 months. It may prove beneficial for the obese in losing weight. 9.Taking whole grains like ragi can be helpful in decreasing the constant desire to eat, thus, reducing the daily calorie intake. It has a low glycemic index and can help to suppress appetite. 12. Chew a thin slice of fresh ginger root a few minutes before meals. Or grate a little ginger, mix with some lemon juice and salt, and eat a pinch or two.

What kind of diet is most effective for losing fat? Does intermittent fasting actually work?

Dear Lybrate User, you may have come across a number of gimmicking advertisement of medicines which claim to decrease body weight in a very short time. Do not fall prey for such advertisement because the excess weight would not be shredded until each & every underlying cause of being overweight is diagnosed & treated. The basic role behind the process of accumulation of fat in human body is played by Metabolism. Metabolism is the set of life-sustaining chemical transformations within the cells of living organisms. The three main purposes of metabolism are the conversion of food/fuel to energy to run cellular processes, the conversion of food/fuel to building blocks for proteins, lipids, nucleic acids, and some carbohydrates, and the elimination of nitrogenous wastes. Accumulation of fat indicates that a considerable amount of the calories which you are taking daily is not used up by the body & is stored as fat. In order to lose the excess fat you need to increase your rate of metabolism. Once your rate of metabolism or BMR is increased your body will use up the excess calories stored as fat in your body. First of all you need to rule out the possibility of the presence of any hormonal disturbance that may be affecting your metabolism. Just conduct a total Thyroid profile test of all your blood (also Serum Testosterone level in case of males). If the reports are within normal limits then you should proceed further to increase your metabolism. If you find any abnormalities in the report you should immediately consult a doctor. Now, Let me explain another widely discussed yet controversial topic behind losing weight i.e Dieting. It is a myth that weight loss is impossible without dieting. However, I disagree with that myth personally. You have to fulfill the basic caloric demand of your body to perform your daily activities. That means you have to eat as a normal person & also eat at a certain interval. In fact I have seen many people who take little amount food after fasting for 6-7 hours & they believe that they are Dieting. In fact keeping your stomach empty for a considerable long time will decrease the rate of metabolism & also increase the risk of gastric problems in an individual. Staying hungry for a considerable long time produces the release of Cortisol Hormone in the body. This Cortisol hormone is an emergency hormone & it identifies the absence of food as an emergency situation. Thus it lowers the rate of metabolism to stop the breakdown of fat in order to conserve the calories present inside the body. Moreover, when you stay hungry for a considerable long time your body starts to burn fat initially but after a certain stage it starts burning the muscle fibres thus resulting in muscle waste which leads to weakness & loss of stamina.

I have pimples and spots on face. I use many medicines and creams but it doesn't work.

Please stop using clop g cream as it contains strong steroids which can serious side effects in the long run. Steroid induced acne, photosensitivity, rosacea, atrophy, stretch marks, pigmentation, dryness etc to name a few side effects. Please don't use any such Steroid containing fairness creams. You will require treatment to slowly put you off this cream as the skin becomes addicted to the steroid. Hence you are facing such a problem. Hello, i am 25 years old and i had lost 30 kgs 2 years ago but regained it in the previous year and a half since i am not dieting or gymming now ofcourse. My question to you is, i want to start my regime of weight loss again. How should i start? Do i start with things gradually or extensively? Hello Mohit! Kindly inform me about your dietary habits. To cure Acne you need to take more of fresh fruits, increase water intake and take lots of vegetables. You have to avoid junk food, deep fried food and also excessive spicy food as that leads to free radical damage. You should follow these things in your lifestyle: 1. Walk for at least 15-20 minutes regularly. Brisk walk is very essential for healthy heart. 2. Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

HiMy mother (age 62) has been done Ultrasound scanning of abdomenthat report was ovaries: Right ovary measures: 36*28 mm.(Increased in size) left ovary measures: 28*16 mm.(normal) PLease let me know info about this report except this everything is fine.

Right ovary is increased in size. This increase could be due to number of diseases. I advise you to do laparoscopic test to find out the cause for increase in size.

My wife is a school teacher. She is suffering from typhoid. We came to know last week after the blood test. Doctor has given vaccine and said that three years it will work. Suggest me the proper diet and how long it will take to cure. She is taking typhoid antibiotic tablets.

Usually enteric fever or typhoid fever takes around 3 to 4 weeks for complete recovery she should increase liquid diet and more carbohydrate diet like she should take lots of fruits (limited juices). She can have milk and chapati with minimal butter. She can have soups.

My heart rate at rest is approx 50 bpm. Is it ok. I started going for a walk daily for the last one month. I'm taking a daily dose of multivitamin. Does that effect heart rate.

In medical terms you have sinus bradycardia. That is common in young and active adults, especially if you are doing regular exercise. Don't worry, you are perfectly alright.
