seizure control - important do's and don't

MD - Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Kangra

Any patient who is having seizures or epilepsy should take medicines regularly. A patient who has seizures and on medicine should be seizure-free for a minimum of two years before tapering of dosage. Most of the patients who become seizure free for few months or a year tries to decrease their dose on their own and sometimes stop it, that increases their chance of recurrence of seizures. It's very harmful because it affects their natural history of the disease and the seizures which could be controlled on single drug become drug resistant seizures. When a patient is considered for tapering of dosage. His drug is tapered slowly over few months.

Hi, the allergy is due to the waxing. Just apply moisturiser cream with the above tablets and cream. Also since when have you taken treatment? if the rashes are increasing you may need an injection to reduce them.

My age is 23 and I am going to married after a month my weight is 95 my penis size is small how can I increase the size?

MD - General Medicine
Sexologist, Nashik
My age is 23 and I am going to married after a month my weight is 95 my penis size is small how can I increase the size?
Hello, Thanks for trusting us with your health concern, in overweight people due to surrounding extra fat penis appears smaller, here are few facts for your query, Fact is PENIS SIZE IS UN IMPORTANT TO PERFORMANCE, MINIMUM 2 INCH PENIS SIZE IS SUFFICIENT FOR SATIPenis size seems to be a bit of a preoccupation for men, causing a healthy industry that claims to have various methods of enlarging the male organ. Interestingly though, there is a significant number of men who claim to have small penises but are in fact quite normally endowed. Most man are unsatisfied with their penis size but in vast majority such anxiety is unfounded among men, there is no consistent relationship between the size of the flaccid penis and its full erect length. A penis is only said to be unusually small if it is less than 3 inches (7.6cm) long when erect. The average penis size is about 14-16cm (5.5-6.3 inches) when erect. The average girth for an erect penis is 12-13cm (4.7-5.1 inches). But guys get out ruler's. Just because your member may not fall within those measurement doesn't mean you r not excellent partner. Size matters less than knowing what you r doing and how you r doing. So instead of worrying about size try to learn skills of love making and instead of spending time in worrying about size spend time in gaining knowledge about sex. Dick size, some have smaller ones and some have ; bigger ones. Work with what you’ve got and remember that fucking comes from your whole body, not just your cock. You are not merely a body with a phallus attached. You are a whole and living and breathing man. Make sure it’s the man that’s having sex. Fact is PENIS SIZE IS UN IMPORTANT TO PERFORMANCE, MINIMUM 2 INCH PENIS SIZE IS SUFFICIENT FACTORY SEX TO BOTH. STILL I DON’T KNOW ANY AUTHENTIC AND PROVEN TREATMENT FOR PENILE ENLAGEMENT FOR NORMALLY GROWN AND DEVELOPED PENIS. FINAL WORDS KEEP IM MIND, ignorance and over expectations are two main reasons of most of sex problem. Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us.

Hi lybrate-user, tell him take small & frequent meal. For type 2 diabetes avoid simple carbs & simple sugar in diet. Don't take sugar, gur, honey, juices, cold drink etc. Don't take potato and other starchy foods. Take more & more green leafy vegetables & salad. Meal gap should not be more than 3 hrs. For hypertension take low salt in diet. Don't use table salt, chips, papad, achar etc. Use less oil in cooking. Don't use ghee, butter, cream & fried foods. Do regular walk/exercise/ yoga or any other physical activity. I think it will help you, you can take an online diet consultation to get a chart.

The yellow wish looking white portion (sclera) is due to pigmentation of the eye layers. There is little you can do about it. It's like the darker skin tone.

AUTLS, CCEDM, MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Faridabad
There are several things you can do to prevent a cold. they are all easy. -Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. -Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough. -Get plenty of rest/sleep.staying at home will keep you from spreading germs.Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. -Drink plenty of fluids(veg/tomato soups, dal water/coconut water/herbal tea etc), and eat nutritious food(like sprouts/boiled eggs without yolk with milk). Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine which can impair your sleep -Treatment:A cold usually lasts for a week or two. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn't need medical treatment. -Complications like infections of the ears, throat, sinuses or lungs must be treated with antibiotics. -Gargle to keep from getting a sore throat. -Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation. -Tablet nasorest-p once/twice daily may ease breathing. -Do steam inhalation once or twice daily

I am using keroglo men tablet from past 7 months can I use finasteride 1 mg and keroglo men both daily.

MD - Alternate Medicine, BHMS
Homeopath, Surat
I am using keroglo men tablet from past 7 months can I use finasteride 1 mg and keroglo men both daily.
Why do you need to take both the medicines together? You can consider taking finasteride tablet as it has its side effects. Finasteride may cause decreased sexual desire or ability (eg, decrease in sex drive, problems with ejaculation, difficulty in achieving an erection). If this occurs, it may continue after you stop the medicine. It also causes dizziness, light headedness, etc. So, I'd suggest you to consider your choice of medicine. Or you can ask your doctor about it.

A Nine Modifiable Risk Factors for Heart Attack

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
The majority of known risk factors for heart attack disease are modifiable by specific preventive measures.

Nine potentially modifiable factors include smoking, dyslipidemia, hypertension, diabetes, abdominal obesity, psychosocial factors, regular alcohol consumption, lack of adequate fruits and vegetables in diet and sedentary lifestyle. These account for over 90 percent of the population–attributable risk of a first heart attack.

In addition, aspirin is recommended for primary prevention of heart disease for men and women whose 10–year risk of a first heart attack event is 6 percent or greater.

Smoking cessation reduces the risk of both heart attack and stroke. One year after quitting, the risk of heart attack and death from heart disease is reduced by one-half, and after several years it begins to approach that of nonsmokers.

A number of observational studies have shown a strong inverse relationship between leisure time activity and decreased risks of CVD. The Heart Care Foundation of India recommends walking 80 minutes in a day and with a speed of 80 steps per minute.
