For real obstinate cases of dandruff where regular anti-dandruff shampoos don’t work, include zinc and essential fatty acids which guard against dandruff and a dry scalp. Foods such as whole wheat, oats, pumpkin seeds, peanuts, cashews, soybean and vegetable oils are good sources of zinc and essential fatty acids."

My sister want to increase the size of breast but she can't. .plz suggest the way how can she increase the size of her breast.

M.B.S.(HOMEO), MD - Homeopathy
Homeopath, Visakhapatnam
Almond Oil Almond Oil To Increase Breast Size One of the best oils that you can use to increase your breast size is almond oil. Almond oil should be applied and massaged on your breasts on a regular basis to improve the growth of cells in your breast region. You will start noticing the results after a span of 8 to 10 weeks and will find that your breast has increased by 2 to 3 inches. Warm the almond oil a little before applying it for optimum results. Olive Oil Olive oil is also widely used to increase breast size when used in the right way. The oil should be applied on both the breasts and then massaged in a circular motion. The right way to massage with oil in order to increase your breast is by starting from the outside and moving towards the inside of the breast. Try to do this for at least 10 to 15 minutes. This will increase the flow of blood in your breasts and help increase the size gradually. Oil of Soybean Seeds The seeds of soybean are used to extract oil which is used for various purposes in our homes. Amongst its many uses, it is also used to increase the size of a woman’s breasts as it has the ability to make the estrogen level in your chest region rise which in turn helps to increase the breasts immensely. Oil of Fenugreek Seeds Fenugreek Oil To Increase Breast Size Another effective oil for increasing your breast size would be that of fenugreek seeds which help to expand the skin near your chest region and enlarge your breasts naturally when used regularly. For rapid results, you can mix the yolk of an egg along with 3 tablespoons of this oil and then apply it on your breasts. This oil is best applied at night just before you go off to sleep. You are sure to notice positive results in just 4 to 5 weeks time.

Hi, I'm 25 years Old female and I'm having a baldness problem on left side my forehead I don't have genetics problem my father and mother have beautiful n thick hairs please suggest I'm worried Now.

Hello Dear, According to Ayurveda, hair is a byproduct of bone formation. The factors responsible for building bones are also responsible for the hair re-growth. Ayurveda doctors believe that early hair loss is related to body type and the balance of the mind-body constitution (doshas). Excess pitta in the sebaceous gland, at the root of the hair, or folliculitis can make the person start losing hair. We loose hair after a certain growth and new hair replaces the older one, which means recycling of hair. Hair loss means losing more hair than you naturally lose. As our hair grows under a natural process, so we can take care of growth only by natural resources and methods.

Hello doctor, I am 32 year old married girl and I have recently new born boy please suggest me home remedies for my strech mark.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
1.Olive oil is rich in antioxidants and nutrients, which are effective for skin disorders. For healing stretch marks, warm the olive oil slightly. Rub it gently on the affected area. With this, the blood circulation will improve and stretch marks will get reduced. 2. Lemon Juice Lemon juice is other easy treatment for stretch marks. The acid present in lemon juice helps in reducing stretch marks, acne, skin injuries, and scars. Take out juice from some lemons. Massage it gently for 10 minutes in a circular motion on the stretch marks. Clean the affected area with warm water. You can also mix some lemon juice with cucumber juice. Apply this mix directly on the affected area. . 3.Castor Oil Castor oil is considered to be a healing treatment for skin problems, like moles, dark spots, wrinkles, pimples, and fine lines. How is it used to heal stretch marks? Well, you can apply castor oil directly on the stretch marks. Massage it in a circular motion for 15 minutes. After massaging, wrap the affected area with thin and clean cotton cloth. Now, apply some heat with the help of heating pad or hot water bottle. Continue the process for 30 minutes daily for one month to get best results. 4. Cocoa Butter Cocoa butter is famous for its anti-wrinkling and anti-aging properties. It helps in enhancing the blood circulation, which reduces stretch marks. Massage the affected area with cocoa butter at least two times a day. Repeat the process for two months and notice the reduced scars. Else, mix half cup of cocoa butter with one tablespoon of wheat germ oil, one teaspoon of tea kernel oil, two teaspoons of grated beeswax, and vitamin E oil. Heat the mix until the beeswax melts. Apply it on the stretch marks twice or thrice a day. The mixture can be stored in a sealed box in the refrigerator

Why get stitches put by a plastic surgeon?
Can't any doctor put stitches why then pay more and search for a plastic surgeon? One of the most common queries I face regularly.
Ans: Plastic Surgeons study the delicate balance of skin, soft tissue as part of their curriculum for a longer period than other doctors. The diameter of the thread used in plastic surgical stitches or suturing is as thin as hair or even finer so the resultant scar, pain and duration of healing is very much reduced. Even if there is a resultant scar Plastic surgeons know how to make them smaller, less itchy or less painful. . so given an option any stitching anywhere would be best done by a plastic surgeon and especially if its a difficult suturing. More so most doctors would be happy if the wound just heals, but a plastic surgeon will worry about the best possible healing not only by closure but also cosmesis..

Is leukoderma or vitiligo contagious? Does it spread through physical contact such as shaking hands, sitting next to each other or hugging with the leukoderma patient.

MBBS, M.Ch - Plastic Surgery
Cosmetic/Plastic Surgeon, Ahmedabad
No, it it is not likely to spread by contact. Transmission may be genetic, however in some patients it can appear without any history of leucoderma upto 3 generations. However, children of leucoderma parent/parents do have higher chance of getting it especially in the leucoderma gradually increasing and gradually involving majority body areas.

How Shampoo Leads to Hair Loss?

How Shampoo Leads to Hair Loss?

Long, lustrous and glossy locks of hair that swish with the gentle breeze and accentuates the look of any outfit - that's the beauty of well maintained and beautiful mane of thick hair. Yet, many of us suffer from hair loss due to poor diet, too many chemicals in our hair care products, stressful living and a fast paced urban lifestyle where we are not left with enough time to take care of your hair.

Did you know that your shampoo can also lead to hair loss? There are harmful chemical additives, detergent like substances which can make the follicles weak and lead to breakage, as well as other ingredients that can lead to hair loss. Here's how:

  • Sulfate: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or SLS, and Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate or ALS, are surfactants that are usually used by shampoo manufacturers to create extra foam which makes for a luxurious, yet harmful wash. This is usually the case with cheap shampoos. These substances are irritants that can cause hair loss in patches.
  • Sodium Chloride: Your standard table salt is also one of the culprits that can lead to a lot of hair loss. Many popular shampoos and conditioners contain this substance which can make the scalp itchy and dry. This leads to hair fall.
  • Ammonium Chloride: Many shampoos that do not contain sodium chloride usually use surfactants like ammonium chloride. This can also have a similar effect as its sodium chloride counterpart, as it leads to various symptoms like itching and dryness in the scalp.
  • Formaldehyde: This substance has disinfectant-like qualities which can cause a lot of damage to the DNA. Excessive and constant use can lead to indiscriminate hair loss due to the harsh properties of this substance. It is generally a low-cost option that can be used as a preservative in shampoos and conditioners.
  • Polyethylene Glycol: This substance is used as a thickening agent that can take the moisture away from the hair and lead to severe hair loss. The use of alcohol and greasers in shampoos can also have a similar effect on the hair.

The health of your hair depends on the kind of products you use, so it is important to look at the ingredients before you invest in a good shampoo and conditioner.
