Yes dear, if tonsils are grade iv means if they meet in the center than surgery is recommended or if you get fever very often than also surgery is the solution, and lastly if swallowing problem than also is the indication of tonsillectomy and do not worry et al, this is simple surgery and less complications.

The Way Out Of Persistent Sneezing, Cough, Asthma.

The Way Out Of Persistent Sneezing, Cough, Asthma.

Dust allergy. Asthma. Sinusitis. Taking medicines, avoiding everything and yet no relief? you might be missing the hidden link.

Come every winter, and you start sneezing every morning? and the runny nose and may be even heaviness of head. Commonly known as'allergy' or in summers as 'dust allergy'.

If it's once in a while, you get through it with an anti allergic. What do you do when you have sneezing almost all through the season. Some patients might have advanced to have complaints all through the year even.

But if you have reached a stage where you or someone you know has exhausted all your options - use of anti allergic, like cetrizine's, avil's, or having done every surgery advised, removed your polyps, corrected the deviated nasal septum (dns), even removed tonsils if advised, you sit down to think why the problem has never reduced. The same is for recurrent sinusitis and tonsillitis, as well for asthma.

Sadly if you wud been saved of much trouble had you taken some time to understand that the climate or the dust could never be the cause of the problem, but only triggers. Otherwise every person walking around you should have been sneezing since he breathes the same air as you and if it is some food item then your family is mostly eating the same thing. So the cause can't be external. And that's what's the reason is. The change in your cell behaviour to external stimuli, esp when exaggerated is known as allergy. Without correcting this cell behaviour pattern, getting rid of this allergy could be a puzzle.

A few tips to find a real way out of allergy

1. Find out what changes in life could have triggered a change in body mechanics - meaning stress

2. Until then or if you don't find any stress - avoid exposures to triggering factors

3. Engage in stress relieving activities - sports, yoga, meditation or even hanging out with people you like and share your mind.

4. Homeopathy rectifies the cell behaviour and thereby provide longer lasting relief. The patient is challenged to resume taking fruits that he had stopped. Go out in open air which you would otherwise avoid.

Consult privately for an individualised evaluation.

Hello sir/madam, I have one question. I have cough and cold in this season bt from 3-4 days blood is bleeding when I ...
This cough and cold recurring on changing season is generally due to allergic phenomena however this time bleeding maybe because of severe inflammation you can use vasoconstrictor nasal drops for example otrivin 4 to 5 times a day use a combination of montelukast and levocetirizine one tablet at night time avoid cold exposure consult in ent specialist if it doesn't help in 2 to 3 days.

Dear sir, My brother 28 has diagnosed TB. And he take medicine like combutol 1000, ripamicin 150 isonazide 300 levoflox 750. And he regularly vomit. Sir can you suggest the timing of rifampicin, and isoniazid plz.

MD (Physician), MD (Pulmonology)
Pulmonologist, Bareilly
Dear Lybrateuser, you have not mentioned the duration of present ATT therapy. Please note that TB treatment is a step wise therapy and despite best efforts some side effects like vomiting & loss of appetite occur at start of treatment. You should have patience and please don't change / switch / alter TB medicines or their doses. Kindly reconsult your doctor to solve this issue. But in case the vomiting does not decrease, you can always have a second opinion from a Pulmonologist. Wishing your patient a speedy recovery.

As long as you don't give proper attention and get that allergy out from the body. You will suffer. But there is a way out. Not for all but for majority can be relieved. Hello! you can be free from asthma suffering. Lot of people who have allergies tend to suffer continuously or intermittently. Unless you remove allergies from body to enter* you will keep suffering from different kinds of allergies. Lungs: allergies cause asthma. Skin: rashes & itching nose & sinus: cold & sneezing, headache. Stomach: pain abdomen or gastritis. Best way to come out of any kind of allergies is first do allergy screening test and then only start medications. Or else the medicines will not work effectively as allergen exposer is not taken care.

I have a viral throat infection last week accompanied with fever all symptoms are gone and i am feeling better except...
Hi, your dry cough which is mostly viral may not go with an expectorant. Taking foods/ fruits/ juices rich in vitamin c shall help develop your immunity which in turn shall be instrumental in fighting against all such infections/ illnesses. A few things that may help your cough are as follows: (a) warm saline gargling 2 - 3 times daily until your cough subsides. Then after, gargle at least once daily. (b) inhale steam twice daily for 2 - 3 minutes. Continue until your cough subsides. (c) grind a piece of black pepper and mix it with 1 tsp of pure honey - take thrice daily for 3 days. (d) ginger + tulsi tea twice daily. You may add a little lemon juice to it. (e) avoid cold, spicy, fatty food or drinks that may incite or exacerbate your already troubling cough. Hope this helps. You should simply avoid stuff, as mentioned above, should you be allergic to any of them. Do connect with me in private should you require still.

I am suffering from tuberculosis. please tell what drugs to take. And other home remedies?

MBBS Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, MD - Pulmonary Medicine
Pulmonologist, Pimpri-Chinchwad
Before starting treatment for TB, you need to consult an expert. Doctor needs to know if there is any past history of TB or treatment received and any comorbidities if present. He needs to rule out drug resistance if required. There are no home remedies for treating TB. You can improve your nutrition.
