I am 63 years old Had an attack of compressive Myelopathy in 2012. Started with a back ache. Pain is still there. Right leg was temporarily paralyzed. Can walk but leg feels heavy. Tingling sensation. After an MRI Doctors say I have spine degeneration. Taking Ayurvedic treatment. But the pain is still there. Tingling sensation too. Using Diclofenac ointment. No relief. Please help.

Sir you wife parasympathetic systom for disturb due to bad posture or mal-alignemt of the spine. You need to visit to a expert osteopath which will reduce the thing with in session. Sacral release and visceral therapy required to reduce the problem. 10 session will result in effective manner.

I am giving some health tips for Migraine headache ?1.You can turn off light for some time ?2.Apply hot or cold compresses to your head or neck. ?Ice packs have a numbing effect, which may dull the sensation of pain. ?Hot packs and heating pads can relax tense muscles. ? ?3.Warm showers or baths may have a similar effect. ?4.You can take Tea or coffee( but not excess) 5.Sleep well Here are some tips to encourage sound sleep. Establish regular sleep hours. ?Minimize distractions. ?Your eating habits can influence your migraines. ?Be consistent. Eat at about the same time every day. Don't skip meals. Fasting increases the risk of migraines Avoid foods that trigger migraines kindly consult Physician for further management LEG PAIN: 1.You can take Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg one tablet stat after food 2.You Can do Hot fomentation twice a day for 3 days I am giving to some common reasons for LEG PAIN 1. generalized weakness 2. I am experiencing slip disc pain, but it is not possible me to take bed rest, how to cure it can anybody tell me?

Hi if you have localized back pain with - no neurological symptoms like numbness, paresthesia, weakness in limbs etc, my advice is: - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a physiotherapist and then at home. - avoid forward bending, lifting heavy weights etc - take an analgesic like diclofenac or something which suits your body for 5-7 days - take muscle relaxant for same time as analgesic to relieve muscle spasm - ice packs at the site of pain, muscle spasm - local analgesic spray can be used but no massage is required let me know how you are feeling. I will actually ask you to get x ray of involved region of spine (ap & lateral) and send reports across to me so that I can advise further in a better manner. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

It is osteoarthritis. Get x Rays of your knee in standing position AP view. Lateral view in sitting. You will need some medicines and exercises. You can choose one of my packages....

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

To build muscles and to remain healthy, you should follow 3 steps in your life 1.BALANCED DIET 2.EARLY MORNING BRISK MORNING WALK for 30 minutes and 10 minutes evening walk after Dinner 3.DRINK 6-8 Glasse of water daily. As 60% of our body is made of water, it acts as a carrier of essential nutrients inside our body. Loosing as little as 5% of body's weight as water can cause headache, fatigue and lower your muscle strength. To stay healthy, an adult should drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. Balanced Diet= 60% Carbohydrates + 20% Fats + 20% Proteins 1. Carbohydrates: Our main source of energy. Stored in liver and muscles. Carbohydrates are used the most by our body duringexercise. Hence, it is important for people who exercise regularly to consume a diet rich in carbohydrates. (a) Instant/rapid carbohydrates energy sources: Banana, Milk, Sweets, Sugarcane juice. (b) Slow carbohydrates energy sources: Beans, Bread, Cereals, Potato, Pulses, Rice. 2. Proteins: Essential for growth, repair of muscle, skin, hair and body tissues. Protein deficiency leads to low immunity, hairfall, feeling of tiredness. Proteins are not stored in our body as any excess protein is converted to energy or fat. Hence, a person requires protein intake every day. When the body does not get enough carbohydrates to fuel itself, it falls back on protein bank. Intake should be 25 to 35 grams a day. 6. Calories: A measure of how much energy food or drink contains. On an average, a man needs around 2,000 calories a day and a woman 1700 calories a day to maintain his weight and good health. Number varies by person depending upon weight, age and how active the lifestyle is. 7. Guideline: Each day have 3 main meals, 2 snacks, 5 pieces of fruit and at least 1 glass of milk.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold fomentation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. do share investigation reports if you have any.

Sir, It's not paralysis as far as I can guess with your description. It seems like due to lack of exercise and activity your muscles have become weak. I would suggest you to go for morning walk regularly. Do some strengthing and stretching exercises for you legs for atleast 15 days. If symptoms still persist, Consult Physiotherapist.
