You'll need to make many lifestyle and dietary changes to manage your blood pressure. I will recommend several lifestyle changes, including: eating a healthier diet as prescribed by a registered dietitian exercising regularly with workouts prescribed by me quitting smoking losing weight I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. Dear, To control & maintan BP normal these are best methods to follow:.• Do physical exercise like jogging, running or brisk walk for atleast 20-30 minutes. • Maintain your cholesterol level to normal & eat least amount of butter, cream or fatty things. • Eat less amount of pickle, salt and fast food as they contain high sodium levels. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of caffine containing coffee, tea or cold drinks because caffine causes increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams (Anulom- Vilom, Bhramari) daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. • Take 5 ml of GULAB Jal added in a glass of water daily once a day.

Sir I am bypass patient since last 1 and half year. I am regularly doing pranaiyam for 45 minutes and 45 minutes walk daily. Right now I have both side leg pain near foot. I have also recently got lab report lipid profile is normal, B12 was some what 140 and Vitamin D 10. So doctor has advised me take Vitamin D spray for 3 time in a week for 1st time and then after once a week for 2 months. And for Vitamin B12 FDSON-MP tablet for 2 months. I have started those medicine since last week and still I feel some easiness. I am regularly taking heart medicine of Met xl-25 and Ecosprin gold 10. Daily once a day. So please suggest if the above is ok or I have to change some medicine or provide me some good food supplements to energize myself.

B 12 is present in non veg items and yellow of egg is a good source, if you eat. For vegetarians they do need supplements and there are plenty of them available. Vit d is a sunlight vitamin generated in liver with the help of sunlight, uninterrupted exposure to sunlight for half an hour at least helps keep bones strong with the help of vitamin d made by sunlight. Good to know that you are walking for 45 minutes everyday, but it looks like your legs are not able to take the strain of a simple walk. Remember our ancestors are monkeys who use 4 limbs but we humans use only 2, this type of strain is seen in lots of women with a standing kitchen, something our grannies never complained, cooking for entire family while sitting. Take low dose vitamin d every day instead of taking a high dose once or twice a week up to 60, 000 iu, we need about 500-1000 iu / day. Remember vitamin d is a fat soluble vitamin and it does not get out of body by drinking more water like an extra capsule of becosule would come out, fat soluble vitamins a, d, e & k if taken extra get deposited within the body, specially in liver, we do not have fortified milk with vitamin d in our country yet. You need to take calcium for bones also. Take a capsule of shelcal 500 mg everyday, this is for calcium & d, continue with b 12 & heart protective medicines like before and put less strain on legs only, involve entire body in exercise, do rowing exercises for arms, yoga & meditation, continue with pranayam.

Tazloc Beta has 2 drugs, out of which one is a beta blocker which can rarely cause depression. But you need to get evaluated to find out other causes of depression before atributing to drugs. Get evaluated by a cardiologist and if necessary change to other drugs. Regards

Dear, these are methods and instructions to reduce triglyceride level in body: * avoid butter, ghee & cream in your diet. * eat five leaves of kari patta and five leaves of neem once in a day. * avoid non veg food because it contain high fat content. * do not eat fast food and avoid cold drink. * do running and jogging daily for 15 minutes. Start with 5 minutes then increase time period slowly. Do morning and evening walk daily. * do not drink alcohol it harmful to your liver and disturb your metabolism causes increase in cholesterol. * add kali mirch (black pepper) in your breakfast. * drink 6 to 7 glass of water daily. * take sound sleep in night of 6 to 7 hrs. Do not take stress.

Pain is complex, so there are many treatment options medications, therapies, and mind-body techniques. There is evidence that certain dietary supplements and vitamins can help with certain types of pain. Fish oil is often used to reduce pain associated with swelling. Hello dear patient. High cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style . Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. garlic,. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

Hello, CHEST PAIN in your case may be due to 1.acidity. 2. severe anxiety 3. muscular problem A. You can take Tablet Pantocid 40 mg (if no drug allergy) one tablet before food for 3 days B. Dear, To control or maintan BP normal there are some instructions are given below: •Do not take salt in high amount or try to avoid it because high sodium level increase BP. • Eat less amount of pickle and fast food, fast food contain high sodium. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of coffee and tea both increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily • Do exercise daily, running and long walk. • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Avoid taking too much fat foods such as butter, cheese, ghee. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. Eat an apple daily.

Dizziness could be due to a) stress, anxiety, inadequate sleep, late night sleeping, excess physical and mental exertion, b) inner ear disease. C) alcohol, sudden drop in bp (like sudden standing), d) heart disease (atrial fibrillation/atherosclerosis), decrease blood volume, heat stroke, dehydration, e) neurological condition, anaemia, hypoglycemia, f) ear infection, brain tumor treatment 1. Treatment of underlying cause 2. Drink plenty of water (8-10glass daily) 3. Take adequate rest, avoid physical and mental exertion 4. Have regular meal, avoid stress and anxiety/ inadequate sleep sound (sleep for 7-8 hours in the night)/ late night 5. Stand up slowly from sitting/lying position. Check your hemoglobin, bp 6. Avoid caffeine, tobacco, alcohol 7. Consult neurologist for further advice and treatment.

Mr. lybrate-user you have hypertension, cause can not be sited without full investigation, so you are advised to consult local cardiologist for management and diagnosis till then you take following steps 1. Reduce salt to less than half wich you are taking 2. Go for morning walk for 35 minutes. 3. Do meditation and exercise daily for 35 minutes. 4.take plenty of water. 5. Take fibrous meal like whole wheat, oats meal sprout 6. Take high fibrous fruit like apple, citrus, papaya berries between two measure meals. 7. Take green leafy vegetables. 8. No spicy, oily and processed food 9. No alcohol, no smoking, and tobacco 10. Avoid stress, of job, education, family.
