When pain management doesn't help, what are other alternatives for back pain due to bulged discs and arthritis?
Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Tell her to start calcium supplement first. She should do regular walk and yoga. Stop sour and chilled food items. Medicines. Dashmoolarishta 2-2spoons with equal quantity of warm water. Mahayograaj guggul 2-2-2 for 6months.

Leg exercises are a vital part of senior and elderly fitness. Strengthening the lower body is one of the most effective and efficient methods of preserving your independence and improving your health as you age. I am 20 years old I am suffering from hand and shoulder pain I tried some creams and pain killer what you I do tell me.
Gentle massage over the affected part with lukewarm herbal pain relieving oil for 20 minutes followed by hot fomentation. It will relax the muscles and the veins of your affected part improving the blood supply to the organ and giving strength to it. Please avoid over-use of the part affected i. E. Lifting weight - pushing or pulling heavy objects. Give proper rest to the part - let it heal with the time. This will greatly help.

Do have balanced diet avoid stress anxiety and focusing the same things again and again of negative nature take ift for knee for 12 days followed by static quadriceps exercise from neuro physio best wishes.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Ankle stretching. Ankle strengthening exercises. Avoid squatting. Quadriceps exercises. Core strenthening exercises. Stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take BioD3 Max 1 tab dailyx10 Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x5days Do back(spine)/shoulder/knee exercises Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take Do not ignore it. It may have to be further investigated. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days,then contact me again. Contact your family doctor or nearest hospital for emergency help. This may give you relief in legs as well.

Sir i'm 65 yrs old and having both knee joint pain because of osteoporosis for the last five years. Major problem I have while walking but otherwise there is no swelling and I don't take any pain killers. I can stand for 15-20minutes. Please advise treatment except knee replacement. Thanks

You have right to choose treatment. Doctors will advise best treatment for you. If problem is since 5 years, it's high time to get complete relief. You will need replacement either now or in a couple of years. So why do you want to increase your suffering. Knee replacement gives best results.

Its not a Problem. When any person starts jogging mostly his or her legs pains for a week depends upon person to person. And as you are saying you just quit drugs, possibly uska bhi side effect thoda rahega.

Hello, it is natural to get belly fat when you are on complete bed rest. -drink warm water instead of cold. -drink warm water with lemon every morning, -cut your daily calorie intake by 25% in a way that your body does not feel weak.(example, make healthy substitutes for unhealthy snacks or eat steamed rice instead of pulav etc.) -do kapal bhati for ten minutes every evening, it comes under pranayam, is a breathing process that will help you loose belly fat.

Hello. Uneven sleep - It can be but doesn't persist that long. So, it might be due to - *Bad posture. *Long sitting. *Long driving. *Extra weight. *Weak muscles. You should do - *Maintenance of good posture. *Proper diet. *regular exercises. *Focussed exercise over spinal component. If then also it doesn't go. If you have pain since 5 months, there is something serious. Medicines are not always useful. It may be meniscus or ligament injury. Better get mri of knee joint from a best center with 3 tesla machine. That will reveal the pathology. Treatment will depend upon that. Till then apply ice packs. Do cycling exercises.
