Dear Sir, I am a 65 year old lady and suffering from osteoporosis and  I had undergone Kyphoplasty Surgery where cement was injected into my back bone. I could not get up on my own. I was shouting in pain due to the problem  and its slightly more than a year after the surgery and I am able to perform all activities except sitting down on the floor. I am using a chair to sit upon to pass my motion. I am used to sit in the Indian style latrine for motion and now sitting in the stool to pass motion is not making me comfortable to pass motion. I am unable to pass motion without allopathic laxative I am using allopathic laxative for the past 10 months to pass motion. The Laxative that I am using currently is GUDLAX-PLUS (Liquid paraffin, milk of magnesia, sodium picosulphate suspension) manufactured by Mankind pharma ltd. I am also taking pain killers and other allopathic medicines for my osteoporosis issue. I am afraid that the allopathic laxative will be harmful in the long run if I continue taking them. Kindly suggest me a ayurvedic laxative where by I will be able to pass motion sitting on the stool. I also have the issue of acidity, heartburn, gas formation. I am taking medicine for hypertension, high blood pressure. Also I cannot sit down on the floor, can you suggest some method by which I will be able to sit on the floor and get up on my own. Also my knee joint has become kind of stiff due to not folding and sitting for a long time after my surgery. Your suggestion for the same will be appreciated. Awaiting your reply, Regards,

Some diet recommendation for you: 1.Avoid milk and milk products like curd, paneer,icecream, cheese etc. You can take fresh butter and ghee. 2.More intake of dietary fibers like salad veges, green leafy veges, ragi,bajra. 3.Take masoor dal with chhilka during night. It act as a natural laxative. 4.You can take aloe vera juice without added sugar for acidity. You can take our osteoporosis package. It will really help you.

These are the methods to treat fastly pimples: • Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day.

Hi lybrate user, first of all I would like to tell you don't be disappointed, some times it takes time. Try to loose your weight naturally, you have to do some dietary changes and physical activity. Take small & frequent meal (2 major meal and 3-4 small meal). Avoid taking heavy dinner. Cut or stop simple sugar and simple carbs, preserved, tinned and canned products from diet. Avoid outside food. Try to take 4-5 meals of green leafy vegetables & fruits. Take green tea once in a day. Take sufficient water (8-10 glasses in a day). Start work out approx for 30-40 minutes daily like brisk walk, running, jogging, skipping, swimming whatever you like.

Hi, Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety. In children and teens, sleep also helps support growth and development. In your wife's case, need to find out the exact cause of insomnia - is there any stress/ tension? Any thing which is bothering her? Any medical condition? Management: Here are five tips everyone can use to help improve the quality of their sleep: Keep your bedroom cool and dark Put away/turn off all electronic devices while preparing for bedtime Stick to a regular bedtime and wake time every day, even on weekends Stop drinking caffeine by the early afternoon and avoid large late-night meals Skip the late-afternoon nap, as it can make it harder to sleep at bedtime Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Do regular exercise. Go for a brisk walk in the morning. Medication: Take Schwabe's Bacopa Monierri 1x/ thrice daily and Kali Phos./ once daily at night for 1month for her sleeplessness. Also, give her Five Phos./ thrice daily for Haemoglobin.

Hi lybrate-user Here are some steps to fight obesity: Step 1: Ban Fatty and Processed Foods If you are serious about fighting obesity, then you must put a ban on fatty and processed foods. This means your refrigerator should not be loaded with pastries, muffins, cakes, frozen foods, preservatives, jellies, and many other food items that you are tempted to buy from the supermarket. Step 2: Make Friends with Lemon Drink a glass full of lemon in warm water with honey when you get up in the morning. This should be the first thing you have in the morning. It kick starts your body’s metabolism & helps with the cleansing process. This is vital when you are trying to flush out fat. The water you use should be filtered. Lemon will help you naturally balance your pH. Step 3: Eat Moderately Having three big full meals a day can harm your body. It is crucial to have something after two hours but in moderation. So have small 5 meals a day that includes health ingredients and are free of excess oil, ghee and fat. Step 4: NO Artificial Sweeteners You should stay away from diet sodas and ‘zero calorie’ drinks. These sweeteners are highly addictive excitotoxins. They cause users crave for more. They will contribute to the obesity rather than curing it. To sweeten your food and drinks, it is better to use honey, stevia, molasses, raw whole sugar, organic fruit juice etc. These are also referred to as lower glycemic sweeteners that help fight obesity naturally. Step 5: Add Colours in your Diet It is crucial to eat at least 5 to 6 servings of fruits and vegetables, each day. You should focus on adding yellow and red bell peppers, broccoli, red lettuce, green vegetables, berries and papaya to your diet. These are rich in nutrients and fibre that help you fight obesity and keep your body fit. Step 6: Drink Water You should drink at least 6-8 glasses of filtered water each day to stay in shape. This helps in flushing out toxins from your body and loses weight. Step 7: Get Moving You should exercise as often as possible in the gym or at home. This may not sound appealing but there is no way to escape hard work if you really want to stay in shape. Step 8: Green Tea You need to drink at least 2 cups of organic green tea to keep your metabolism in healthy state and boost your immune system.

Hye. Thanks for the query. There must be some change, either in your eating habits, activity levels or stress that has caused weight gain. Also lack of physical activity may have stopped or reduced leading to weight gain. Also your poor eating habits, lack of exercise may have led to hypothyroidism. There’s no overnight fix when it comes to healthy weight loss, but you can adjust your lifestyle to promote quick, natural weight loss for the benefit of your health and your appearance. Successful, long-term weight management needs to focus on more than the food you eat and the pounds you lose. It needs to focus on your overall health. Reshape your body and your lifestyle by adopting healthy habits and breaking unhealthy ones. Replace all processed foods in your diet with vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low-fat dairy, lean meats, eggs, legumes, nuts, seeds and seafood. Focus on the variety of whole, unprocessed foods you can eat instead of dwelling on the junk food you eliminated from your diet. Eat smaller portions at every meal and avoid going back for seconds. Take a smaller scoop of rice, half of a piece of chicken instead of a whole piece and one less egg in your morning omelet, for example. Make time for breakfast every morning. Eating breakfast helps prevent overeating and is a habit of people who successfully lose weight. Pack to-go meals instead of eating convenience foods when you’re not home. Store foods like chopped fruits and vegetables or cooked grains, legumes, eggs and meats in your refrigerator so you always have something to grab when you’re in a rush. Buy fresh vegetables and fruits from the grocery store if you forget to bring healthful food from home. When you can’t avoid dining at a restaurant, opt for a salad as a starter, and always ask for the dressing on the side. Clear soups, lean meats, seafood and grain-based dishes like roti, whole grain bread are other good choices. Exercise for 30 to 60 minutes at least three times per week to build muscle and burn more calories. Pilates, strength training, aerobics, swimming, dancing and yoga or a sport like football are ideal choices. If you’re new to exercising, start with brisk walking and jogging. Adopt physically demanding hobbies like bicycling, hiking, jogging, power walking to promote faster weight loss. If you don’t have time for new hobbies, increase your physical activity with things like walking the dog, playing with the kids or jogging instead of driving to a nearby store or taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

Hello- Rasoli is the common term for uterine fibroid (Tumor in uterus). Depending upon its size its treatment is decided. >If the size is small it can be removed by ayurvedic medicines. If the size is big and it is causing complications thn you might go for a Surgeon's opinion.

My doctor treated me that time but the problem reoccurred again after having an intercourse. I'm really searching for a medicine to prevent this but have found none. You have to eat clean and the right food for losing fat. The whole days plan has to be perfect and in the right proportion. Just by having curd at dinner will not make you fat. You have to manage all the meals well. You also need to exercise to lose body fat.
