Exposure to sunlight, freckles, acne and several other skin diseases are responsible for making the skin look dull and discolored. Homoeopathy not only helps in controlling excess oil secretion by the sebaceous glands but provides a clear and fair skin removing all such tendencies which lead to dull skin.Along with this a diet rich in vegetables and whole fruits, plenty of water, regular exercise will also help you You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance and permanent cure without any side effects

1. Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. 2. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. 3. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. 4. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. 5. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling.

A number of factors predispose a person to varicose veins and spider veins. These include: • Heredity • Occupations that involve a lot of standing, such as nurses, hair stylists, teachers, and factory workers • Obesity • Hormonal influences of pregnancy, puberty, and menopause • The use of birth control pills • Postmenopausal hormonal replacement • A history of blood clots • Conditions that cause increased pressure in the abdomen, such as tumors, constipation, and externally worn garments like girdles. Other reported causes include trauma or injury to the skin, previous vein surgery, and exposure to ultraviolet rays.Varicose veins and spider veins develop more often in women than in men. They increase in frequency with age. An estimated 30% to 60% of adults have varicose veins or spider veins. Symptoms of Varicose Veins and Spider Veins SYMPTOMS Many people with varicose veins complain of pain, described as an acing or cramping in the legs. Other common symptoms include tiredness, restlessness, burning, throbbing, tingling, or heaviness in the legs. Pain from these veins is usually relieved by elevating the legs or by wearing support hose. In women, symptoms may be worse during certain parts of the menstrual cycle or during pregnancy. Less common is swelling, ulcers and a darkening of the skin, especially in the ankle region. Occasionally, varicose veins can form a painful blood clot with inflammation of the vein, a condition calledthrombophlebitis. Treatment Options for Varicose Veins and Spider Veins There are seven major forms of treatment for varicose veins and spider veins: 1. Support stockings. The most conservative approach is simply to wear properly-fitting support hose, especially when the veins cause painful or uncomfortable symptoms. These stockings can generally be purchased at any surgical supply store and at some pharmacies. They come in below-the-knee, above-the-knee, and pantyhose styles. 2. Lifestyle changes. Good skin hygiene, weight loss (if needed), and walking can help treat varicose veins and spider veins. 3. Surgery 4. Homoeopathic medicine ADEL-44 Drops ( ADEL) Drink 15 dop in 20 ml fresh water 3 times daily Repoprt after 3 months

Hi lybrate-user Keloids are a difficult condition to treat. You need multiple injections in the keloid, at regular intervals, for the best response. Sometimes, surgery is also helpful.

Tips To Recover From Colon Polyp Removal Surgery!

Tips To Recover From Colon Polyp Removal Surgery!

Colon polyp removal, also known as colon polypectomy, refers to the removal of abnormally grown tissues from the mucous membrane or the inside lining of the large intestine or colon. Since there are some particular types of polyps that tend to develop into cancer, early removal of polyps through surgery is essential, once diagnosed. Like every surgery, colon polyp removal has its own set of post-op guidelines to aid recovery and avoid risks and complications.

The procedure of polyp removal surgery is non-invasive and is typically carried out at the same time when performing colonoscopy or examination of the large intestines. However, there are a few recovery tips that can be helpful in ensuring fast recovery after polypectomy.

Let's have a look at them here.

  1. No strenuous activities: Patients are strongly advised to refrain from driving for at least 24 hours following a colon polyp removal surgery and avoid any strenuous activities for a minimum of four weeks following the surgery. There can be minor side-effects such as bloating, cramps and passages which resolves within a day. Patients are suggested to resume their regular daily activities slowly as otherwise, it may delay the full recovery.
  2. Opt for a healthy diet: The diet instructions may vary from one patient to another, depending on their overall physical health and other medical conditions. However, all patients are strongly recommended to not consume certain foods, such as coffee, soda, tea, spicy and processed foods, alcohol, etc. So, the bottom line is, any food items that may irritate the digestive system must be avoided for a few weeks.
  3. Go for regular check ups: Until a patient fully recovers from colon polypectomy, it is advised to opt for regular checkups for a healthy recovery. In case any discoloration of urine is noticed after the first bowel movements, the patient needs to contact his/her gastroenterologist right away. Completing the entire prescribed medicine course and following the do's and don'ts, suggested by the doctor, is a must.
  4. Be careful with medications: To quickly recover from colon polyp removal surgery, patients are strongly suggested to avoid the intake of any non-prescription medications such as aspirin. However, patients may consider taking stool softeners to prevent constipation and antibiotic medications for preventing infections, but only after consulting with the doctors.

One needs to be aware of the fact that depending on the acceptance of and response of the patient's body to a colon polyp removal surgery and of course their physical health, the recovery time may vary. However, the more careful a patient is in following the post-surgery recovery tips, the quicker he or she may resume the daily activities. Usually, in the majority of cases, it takes around two to three weeks to recover from a colon polyp removal surgery completely.

My wife is having multiple personality disorder, she turns very dangerous if she don't take pills, it's hard to live with her, please guide me well.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
The multiple personality can create multiple problems. It is a very complex disease and without knowing much of her background, I suppose you might be her only hope and solace. Since you are married to her and for several years perhaps too, you are the only person who has reached this level of intimacy with her. That could be the nemesis too but if you undertook to see her through her worst phase, then you could have a reasonable life with her. One thing is very clear and it seems like you have understood that too, is her strict adherence to the medical prescriptions. That is mandatory and that is important for you to personally monitor; and periodically take her for psychiatric reviews. Apart from that she needs intense psychotherapy with a dedicated professional competent in dealing with this condition. There will be a lot of follow-up from this therapy and again I see you taking an active role. If her parents or siblings are around or can come and relieve you periodically, that will give you welcome breaks that will be tremendously good to recharge yourself. The professional is sure to put her on a regimen of exercise, both physical and neurological, a tight time-schedule filled with important and interesting activities, and a socializing program. Consider this a lifetime task and you must dedicate yourself to it completely, if you want to spend a reasonable time with her for the rest of your lives.
