1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. Life-style correction 1) correct your sitting posture. 2) take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) foot should rest to floor easily. 4) take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days.

I am suffering from leg pain in the right side from buttocks thighs and whole leg bottom side is burning I am feeling no emergy advise what I should do I am diabetic patient.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Peel two cloves of garlic and crush it. Add this to a glass of milk. Boil it on a mild flame till one-fourth glass remains. Filter and make two equal parts. Drink one part in the morning and the other in the evening. Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). take 1 tsf triphala churna daily....n practice yoga daily twice..

Dear as per your ht and wt it is perfectly alright. Regarding your swelling of your face is it swelling or puffyness. Do you use too much of make up and go out under sun in that case you shoud use sungoggles orbefore going out apply sunscreen lotion.

Avoid Sitting For long time to prevent Muscles to get spasms or Stiffen and to avoid accumulation of Adipose Tissues as it may increase the risk of developing Waistline
Hence Try to do small movements involving Hip rotation and Moving around for at least 15 minutes every Three hours to ensure Occupational Strain in the joints and to ensure Better Metabolism

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that muscle gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism along with your daily diet and exercise routine. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Muscle gain is all about taking more nutrients than you use up. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. There is no one food that helps muscle gain. Eat meals at frequent intervals. You need to eat at least 6 meals a day. Eat a protein rich mid meal between each main meal. Pre/ post workout meals need a certain amount of carbs and proteins depending on your exercise routine. Avoid junk, sugary, oily foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits, dry fruits, vegetables, whole grain cereals, smoothies, masala milk, healthy oils in your diet. Restrict eating sugary, sweet foods. Try to have healthy deserts like kheer, chikki or lassi. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least 6 days a week. It helps development of muscle mass and improves appetite.  Even if you were to take just medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation. You need to have a nutrient dense meal and good exercise routine, it's crucial.

I am 59. 5ft 6 inches; 62 kgs. Having pain from neck radiating to right shoulder and right elbow and hand. Also at lower back there is fair amount bit of stiffness particularly in the morning.

Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling. CONSULT a ayurvedic physician cliniically.

Apply hot fomentation and sleep with a pillow below your knees and maintain the back support while sitting. Try performing tummy tucking exercise and try moving around with the tummy tucked in. Perform heel slides and back isometric exercise.

Visit a physiotherapist, you need to take electrotherapy for few days may be and then some exercises. Also, taping or compression with crepe bandage may be required.

Take over-the-counter painkiller if intolerable pain. Rest without pillows.do neck exercises. Get ur xray cervical spine done to check the extent of the condition. U might need physiotherapy too

Hi im siya 28 years old girl from delhi. Im having right side upper back pain which going to my shoulder and in my mid right side back. Its been 1 n half year pain here. I tried everything allopathy ayurveda homeopathy and physiotherapy as well ntg worked. Right right side of hand and stretching hand also increase my pain. Can anyone suggest how to cure this pain. Most issue is I can not sleep on my sides cuz it feels like my hand separating from my body .morning so much tiredness and stiffness in pain area.in day progress pain progress. Please do a ultrasound of whole abdomen as it could be due to gall-baldder stone - at least you can be assure you do not have it. Also a chest/cervical x-ray needs to be done Please do not expose your body to direct exposure of AC/fan - as this could be a maintaining cause of your problem. Build up your stamina & perfection in poses gradually. Kindly show me photograph& the x rays of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. I got an fracture. How much time it take to heal. I want to know it as soon as possible.

Hello lybrate user, healing of a fracture depends on the many things. Firstly, on the bone which is fractured. Large bones of the arm, forearm, thigh and leg usually take 6 weeks or more to heal. Smaller bones of the hand and the foot usually take 3 to 4 weeks to heal. Secondly, the region of fracture in a particular bone. End of bones are highly vascular and heal much faster than the middle part fractures. Thirdly, type of fracture. Simple fractures tend to heal faster than a fracture with many bony fragments which we call communition. Also the gap at the fracture site. More the gap, more delayed is the healing fourthly, the type of intervention which is used. Fractures require rigid immobilization to prevent any motion at the fracture site. Any motion at the fracture site can lead to delayed healing. This rigid immobilization can be provided by use plasters, splints or through surgery and fixation with metallic implants. The better the stability, faster is the healing. Lastly, it also depends on the patient's general health and nutrition. The most important factor is the management. I would suggest, you consult a qualified orthopaedic surgeon for the best management. But, in general a fracture would take anywhere between 3 weeks to 3 months to heal depending on all the factors. But any problem at the fracture site would delay it further. Hope this helps.

Most probably there may be muscular problem like spasm or sprain. Do not do same weight training excs. Hot fermentation. Take rest.
