Triglycerides is 285 Cholesterol HDL is 47 Direct LDL CHOLESTEROL is 169 Am being advised to meet cardiologist Am I not fit what needs to be done. Hi lybrate-user the best solution is avoid having the oily and junk food. Because it is not necessary that oil food alone will be stored in the body, even high sugar will be transformed into cholesterol. Start to do regular exercise for 1 hour daily, it is the only best solution which I can give to overcome this problem.

Hello Rupam, you should drink water atleast half an hour before meals or half an hour after meals. Avoid water with meals or only minimum water with meals, if necessary. For gaining weight, you need to eat after every 2-3 hours. Have 6-7 meals in a day. Besides breakfast, lunch & dinner , you should have in between meals also with foods like aloo /cheese sandwiches, chaat, pasta, milkshakes, pastries, burgers, dry fruits like kaju, kismis, dates, almonds, fruits like banana,mango, chickoo, muskmelon,kiwi, grapes, etc.

Hello doctor, today when I take bath, wearing my clothes, a mosquito enters into my clothes. But I do not care that time, now I am worried if mosquitoes blood or mosquito himself enter into my openings. Is it transmit hcv or hiv if mosquito is infected?

Mosquitoes do not inject blood when they bite. Only saliva is injected into humans when a mosquito bites and thus hiv positive blood that a mosquito may have previously ingested is never transmitted to other humans. As a result, mosquitoes do not transmit the virus like hiv or hcv. Hiv is unable to replicate within the mosquito's gut and therefore is broken down and thats why it can not reach its saliva. Also mosquito can not enter into any opening of our body as all of them are closed in natural position.

Sleep is a normal problem but alcohol is a big problem. Choosing alcohol it is not good option. It is not permanent solution. Sleep comes automatically. It is not coming on conditional. I think you suffer day time so many things. Better to come from your day time stress situations. Before sleep read good book, bathing, walk some more time, drink hot milk, watch t v, do some computer work. Meditate some time. Relax with good music, call and discuss with friends. Relaxation talk with your family members. Better to do hard work day time. Sexual talk with your wife you will get more relief. Give high priority for permanent things. It is better to take the help of psychologist. Otherwise modify yourself. Do not take medicine and alcohol. It is always gives negetive result. Ok better to take some of steps what I suggest to you. Ok best of luck.

Dear lybrate user, take homoeopathic mother tincture acid phos q, 30 drops, thrice daily, after meals in a cup of water. Try to get a un-interrupted sleep of 8 hours daily. Drink a lots of water daily. If you have a habit of masturbation then you should not masturbate for more than twice in a week. Abstain from any type of addiction if you have any.

1. Mix one teaspoon each of cinnamon powder and lemon juice with a pinch of turmeric powder (optional). Spread it on your face, leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse it off. 2. Alternatively, mix one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and honey to form a thick paste. Apply it on the affected area before bed and leave it on overnight. In the morning, wash your face well with normal water. For best results, follow this remedy daily for about 10 days.

I am not aware of such operation because it is not given required recognition. There are so many studies going on like beta cell transplantation, artificial pancreas, gene therapy, pancrease transplantation and so on but still no final answer for permanent cure.

Your son is perfectly normal and growing accordingly. His weight is also normal according to his age. Do not worry about his weight any more. Now the weight gain will be slow but they will be active and keep learning things fast and if they are healthy you need not worry. Keep feeding him with regular diet.

YOu have to avoid tension and keep a calm mind by meditation and yoga .Resting at night plays an important role in regulating your daily health and your level of energy throughout a day. Also, not only the quantity but the quality of sleep is also important for a healthy lifestyle. Bedtime habits do play a vital role in shaping up your lifestyle and personality as a whole. Here are many lifestyle habits that can help you to get sound sleep. 1. Make regular and a fixed sleep pattern: Going to sleep and waking up the same time every day helps to maintain an equilibrium in the sleep-wake cycle called diurnal rhythm. If this balance is maintained, then your body will be accustomed to this pattern and as a result, you will feel less tired and fresh throughout the day 2. Maintain a definite dietary regulation: You should also maintain a proper diet plan and observe the consequences/effects of the foods that you are eating and the fluids that you are drinking on your sleep pattern. Taking a good and properly nutritious diet on a daily basis will help you to stay healthy and help your natural sleep-wake cycle. 3. Ensure that your room has mild or dim lighting or darkness if you prefer: The level of light also matters at the time of your sleep. You should definitely make sure that there is a very minimal level of light or darkness around you when you try to sleep. This should be done because the lesser is the light, the more comfortable you are while sleeping. Additionally, the sleep that you will get in a dark room will also be sound and undistorted as it helps keep all the sensory organs calm. 4). Do some relaxing activities before bedtime: Depending on your choice, you should follow simple techniques of relaxation in order to calm down the brain before sleep. Like mediation, Yoga or- deep breathing exercise, muscle relaxing activity, visualizing a peaceful setting/ scenario like a calm garden or beach or mountain area. These activities are just guidelines and you can do anything that helps you to get a relaxing mood and sleep. 5). Avoid daytime naps if you can , But Having short naps of less than one hour is absolutely okay if you are excessively tired during the day or you did not have a sound sleep the previous night. But, if you are consistently having long naps during the day then you are bound to have sleep issues during the night. So it is advisable to sleep early and wake up early for a healthy schedule. 6) Regular exercise: Exercising regularly helps to improve the overall quality of sleep by making you tired at night and sending you to bed more efficiently. Light to mild exercises also helps cure sleep disorders like insomnia.

My wife is 27, she is very aggressive in nature and negative thinker. When she is angry she starts blaming me for she not being happy. She starts the work and leaves half way and she get bored of things very fast. If she is tense she just doesn't do anything except for sleeping. When she is angry she gets violent. Looks like you both are going through a difficult time in your marriage. Since you have only written about what she does but not about your behaviour, I sense that you either withdraw and remain quiet or both of you argue and it leads to fights between the 2 of you. In either case you will benefit with couple counselling so that you are able to talk to each other openly and transparently so that the actual problems can be spoken about openly. Communications styles differ in all people which leads to many misunderstandings and differences. A succesful marriage requires both parties to understand each other and participate in a manner to support the relationship, as well as personal goals and interests. A visit to the doctor will not be wrong either. Maybe both of you can go as a couple instead of making her as the" identified patient" (she seems to be feeling blamed and cornered hence refusing to cooperate). You could suggest to her that you want to see a doctor" for both of us" so that we can work out the differences between us. Say what you mean and do it genuinely.

Treatment of piles 1. Apply proctosedyl ointment 2-3 times daily before and after passing stool. 2. Sit in a bath tub containing warm water with little salt for some time twice daily (sitz bath). 3. Take two tea spoonful lof softovac/naturolax powder with a glass of warm water/milk in the evening or syrup duphalac 3 tsf (15ml) twice daily if there is constipation. 4. Take fiber containing diet, plenty of green leafy vegetables and fruits. 5. Consult doctor for further advice.
