I am feeling depressed for my study pressure n even I need to get a job. I am suffering in insomnia. Please help me.
I can understand how disturbing an interuppted, inappropriate or disturbed sleep can affect your day to day life. In india it has been found 55% of patients are suffering from insomnia just because of stress, distractions and anxiety. So the best way to get rid from insomnia is to reduce the stress level. A physiotherapist can help you to give you the ways to relax your mind and give you comfort and stress full sleep. Consult some neurologist/neuropyschiatric and start taking medicine if it is due to some neurological discorder. And consult nearby physio who can make a perfect routine and daily life styl chart to make you relax so that you get an appropriate sleep. Please follow some points that will help you in such condition along with medical treatment: 1) use of ice packs over your eyes or frontal area for some time to give relaxation. 2) massage your head especially forehead area using levander oil or clove oil as it removes toxins from body 3) regular intake of healthy dietry food rich in proteins and vitamins. 4) avoid fasting - eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at fixed timings 5) make yourself busy by fulfilling your hobby as it will give you freshness and your mind will be diverted from normal life which help in pain reduction. 6) before sleeping time do some relaxation exercises. - sit on chair with both the hands placed on the pillow placed over thighs. - deep inhale from your nose, mouth should be closed. - hold your breath for the count of 5. - exhale completely from mouth making a loud sound. Continue to do this exercise for 10 times. Before going to bed make a habit of doing this daily. Modified technique of same exercise is while inhaling extend your arms, hold for 5 count and then exhale making your arms back in the rest position. 7) room modification while sleep - make sure room should be dark with no noise. Avoid sleeping immediately after dinner or food. Take a walk for 15 min and then come back, bed should be not too soft not too hard. 8) it is recommended to drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water per day. It is also a very good habit to start and finish your day by drinking a good glass of purifying water. 9) exerices like aerobics (running) can be done to make your muscles active. Many other ways are there in order to maintain your life stress free and active so that you can continue to sleep on time and it does affect your life. Good luck and get well soon.

I am 50 yrs old and of late my BP reading is coming as 130/90, recoded every week, and it varied between 130/87 to 136/90. Pl advise, also inform reasons. I lead active life morning walk 3 to 4 KM on daily basis.

your BP is normal and nothing to worry about.You will notice these minor fluctuation in BP normally .Important is that these fluctuationss are within normal level.It is good that you do morning walk regularily.So continue with your routine.

it may be due to infection advice her for betadin wash .Take in 5-6 litre warm water and 2 table spoon of betadin put on them and sit on tub and wash properly atleast twice a day.keep dry and clean vaginal portion always.

Hi, I have fever. Fever started yesterday afternoon. I took one crocin yesterday. Today when I got up in the morning, I still have fever and stomach cramps. I have cold and flem. No cough. I have slight back pain and also slight headache. I took 1 paracetamol along with a vitamin tab in the morning after breakfast. Yesterday midnight I felt some shivering when I waa sleeping under my blanket. Please advice. Thanks.

Take sanjeevani ras vati twice a day with warm water. Take pranacharya jwar nigraha capsule and punarnavadi mandoor 1-1 twice a day with warm water. Avoid salt as more as possible. Drink luke warm water. Wipe your body with clean towel.

  • Platelet are the thinest cells in the blood stream.

  • I t look like plates in their non-active state but in active state the tentacles that seems to the shape of spider or an octopus. Like other blood cells it is also made in blood marrow.

  • Role of platelet is to protect the body against excessive loss of blood, during injury, in the presence of wound or injury these cells migrate to site and bind the damaged blood vessels and forms the clot

  • In human body normally the platelet count range is 1,50000 - 4,50000 / microlitter

  • When the count is above the 4,50000 / microliter it is called thrombocythemia or thrombocythemia. The term thrombocythemia is used when the cause of higher platelet count is not known i.e. Primary or essential thrombocythemia. this condition occurs when the faulty cells in the bone marrow make too many platelets. While the higher platelet count due to any disease it is called secondary or reactive Thrombocytosis which more common than the thrombocythemia.

  • When the count is below 1,50000/microlitter the condition is called thrombocythemia. Low platelet count may result bleeding from nose, gums, under the skin (Purpura) in the forearm and pinpoint bleeds (Petechiae) on the legs. In womens long and heavy periods. Treatment should be initiated before the bleeding occurs because some time a huge drop of platelet count is sudden which may result uncontrolled bleeding resulting life threatening condition i.e Shock or Organ failure.

  • Treatment for Low Platelet: When the platelet count comes down comes down 10,000-20,000 then transfusion of Platelets is required or some sort of bleeding present in nose, gum & skin is present. Otherwise take Natural food which increases the low platelet count.

     

10 Foods That Increase Low Platelet Count:

1. Anar (Pomegranate): It is rich in iron and also contains vitamins. This fruit help to combact increasing platelet reduction with regular consumption & vitamins keep your energy levels steady.

2. Milk : It it has high calcium which helps to regenerate the platelet. Calcium content with vitamin K and milk protein “Fibrinogen” increases the Platelet count and improves the blood;s ability to form the clot. Calcium Deficiency can lead to your body much longer time in forming clot .

3. Folate Rich Food : Folate or B9 is essential for healthy cell division in the body. Sever deficiency of folate in body can result reduction in Blood Platelet. Daily intake of Folate is 400mg is required. When platelet count is low it’s consumption increases the platelet count. Food rich in Folate are Asparagus, Orange juice,Spinach and fortified cereals.

4. Lean Proteins: Lean proteins food are excellent source of Zinc and Vitamin 12 which are essential to reverse the effects of thrombocytopenia. In case of reduced platelet count take food like soyabean, spinach (Palak), blackbeans, cow’s milk, white of egg, Oatmeal, Fish and white meat chicken.

5. Papaya: Extract of leaf of papaya is excellent for overall blood production and increases the platelet count (Prepare extract of leaves by boiling leaves in medium heat for 15 minutes with water and wait till the water simms down to half ). Take leaf extract 2tsf twice daily.

6. Cod Liver Oil and Flax Seed Oil: These oils strengthen the Immune system many autoimmune disorders are cause of thrombocytopenia or low platelet count. These oils reduce the inflammation of in the body and improve the blood circulation throughout the body.

7. Vitamin A Rich Food: Vitamin A is essential for healthy platelet production, it also plays role in formation of Protein in body which helps in the process of cell division and growth. Carrot, Pumpkin, Kale and Sweet Potatoes (Sakarkandi).

8. Chlorophyll from Wheat grass: Wheat grass juice contains 70% of chlorophyll (The Plant Haemoglobin) have strong effect in overall blood production and increases the platelet count. Take ½ cup per day.

9. Vitamin K Rich Food: Vitamin K keeps cell growth at optimum level in the body. Life of platelets is only 10 days which is to be compensated continually to maintain te lost amount in the body, hence high calorie food for ideal production of blood platelets and vitamin K is one of the ingredient available in Eggs, Green leafy vegetables, Kale, Frozen Spinach, Mustard Greens Broccoli & Liver.

Fever with headache can be due to viral infections like dengue which can cause decrease in platelet count. Disprin also has effect on platelet and increases bleeding tendency. Till diagnosis of fever is confirmed, you can safely give paracetamol (crocin) 650 mg 4 times a day for relief of fever.

Hi, hair loss it self has 2-3 meanings. Is it hair falling? or thining if hair gradually? or both together. Associated with this you have oily scalp and over all growth of hair if remarkably reduced then, you might be having the problem of androgenic alopecia which might lead to gradual balding of your hair irreversibly. More over using livon hair gain might not suit you always and may lead to more oily scalp and being chemically prepared it may have long term side effects. Masturbation is not really bad; it is the addiction to it that is bad. Not even the number of years is a problem but the frequency and compulsiveness to do it is to be considered for its ill-effects. At your age you may feel it difficult and it can become addictive if you have alone time, if you obsess about it, and if you are not into relationships. The problem with addiction to this is that you may go on to prefer masturbation to heterosexual contact, even when you are married. That obviously would be an insult to your wife and will lead to a lot of conflict. Heterosexual contact is very wholesome and the physiology is made exactly for penile and vaginal contact. You will instead enjoy a poor replica of this and not know or care for the difference. Inherited night blindness is an incurable condition. Only option you hav ius of low vision aids. Still its wise to go for a detailed examination for arriving at d correct cause for your night blindness.
