I am 32 years old male. I have a persistent reading of 148/93 to 154-94 in my Omaron BP machine reader at home. I take the reading in mornings and in the nights before sleep and take the average, for past few months. I have got my lipid profile, Diabetes profile, CBC, LFT and KFT done last week which revealed everything within normal range (including GFR) except low calcium and high Globulin. Im obese with 104-105 kg body wt and 35.9 = BMI. I have already started taking proper diet with more veg and less rice/fat items. I do not drink alcohol or cold drinks or do I smoke. I have stopped eating junk food for past 6 months. Only problem with my life is that I have no time for a proper physical exercise except taking walks 1s in 2 weeks, due to the work load. Can you please tell me is it time I start with Co-Q and ACE inhibitors at least or suggest me how should I proceed? Thank you.

- Lose weight if overweight or obese.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Exercise regularly for atleast 30mins.
- Increase the intake of fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
- Choose low fat dairy products over the high fat dairy products.
- Have small frequent meals.
- Include proteins like fish, lean chicken but in baked, boiled or grilled.
- Don’t smoke.
- Don’t drink alcohol.
- Reduce the intake of salt and can use herbs, lemon.
- Avoid sugary and processed foods.
- Avoid fast food and fried food.
- Avoid saturated fats.
- Don’t take stress.

Hi am 31 year old and my issue is I am getting pain of may left chest like some one pin it and also getting pain of entire left hand and burning feel on palm of left hand.
My blood pressure is 130-210 always by many years. It goes to 140-225 some time. Some time it come to 110-200. I am not taking any medicine. I used many ayurvedic medicine in past 3 years. I got relief as i dont have any problem . But level was down and again up after leaving the medicine. Some time i take amodip AT. My age is 41 years. I also have blood sugar in range of 200-240.
Greetings Recently my dad went to a doctor and doctor said BP is high 210/110. Doctor told to take some test. After one week of medicine now BP is 170/80. A heart attack occurs when one or more of coronary arteries (main supply to heart) become blocked. Over time, a coronary artery can narrow from the buildup of various substances, including cholesterol (atherosclerosis). This condition, known as coronary artery disease, causes most heart attacks.

- be more active (cardio exercises)
- choose good nutrition (eat larger portions of low-calorie, nutrient-rich foods, such as fruits and vegetables, and smaller portions of high-calorie, high-sodium foods, such as refined, processed or fast foods.)
Dietary cholesterol should be 300mg per day. Since it largely comes from animal products, consumption of non-vegetarian, whole full cream milk should be restricted.
Take a health alternative like chicken, fish, beans, vegetables, fruits, breads, pulses, wholewheat flour, cereals, brown rice, millet, skimmed milk and vegetable oils like corn, sesame, soyabean, sunflower, canola, olive and mustard.
Friendly and unfriendly fats
Fat should not exceed 30 per cent of your total calorie intake. Saturated fatty acids in full-cream milk and red meat increase your cholesterol level. Use non-fat or low-fat milk and milk products instead of full-cream milk and avoid sources of saturated fatty acids like lard, butter, cream, palm oil, coconut oil, cheese, etc.
Mono-unsaturated fats that lower cholesterol as well as prevent formation of blood clots are present in olive, canola, peanut and mustard oils. Omega-3, a fatty acid that prevents atherosclerosis is present in foods like herring, mackerel, salmon, tuna, soyabean, walnuts and butternuts. Take these regularly in small quantities to prevent atherosclerosis.
Holistic way to control chest pain
Boil 4 -5 pods of garlic in glass of milk and consume the garlic pods with milk daily to avoid chest pain.
Pound the dates with seeds and eat them every day.
Increase the intake of ginger and lime in your diet.
