What is initial stage of high blood pressure and blood sugar? And how we protected our self from those diseases?

What is initial stage of high blood pressure and blood sugar? And how we protected our self from those diseases?
Dear lybrate user, the initial stages of type 2 diabetes & blood pressure are known as pre-diabetes and pre-hypertension. The most important fact one needs to keep in mind is that these are predominantly lifestyle disorders hence one needs to lead a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent these. The following tips could be useful: - Sleep well for at least 6-7 hrs everyday - Eat small meals at regular timings everyday, eat well balanced meals. Do not skip your meals. - Avoid eating outside food very frequently (once a week should be fine) - Reduce the amount of salt you take in a day, and preserved/ processed foods (pickles, papad, ready to eat meals, etc) - Avoid too much of coffee, tea, alcohol and stop smoking or taking tobacco - Exercise everyday starting with 20 mins and increasing it to 1 hr (any form like walking, running, swimming, weight training, or even a mix if fine as long as you do it consistently everyday) - Do not take stress about issues, be positive and try to be happy - In case you have a family history, regular check-ups wih your family physician is preferable Though many of these might seem difficult to follow in one go, but slowly you could adopt these measures, which will help you remain healthy and reduce the likelihood of you developing these cardiovascular disorders. Take care!

You need to ahve tablet like Volibo with food to reduce sugar absorption. Diabetes, often referred to by doctors as diabetes mellitus, describes a group of metabolic diseases in which the person has high blood glucose (blood sugar), either because insulin production is inadequate, or because the body's cells do not respond properly to insulin, or both. It is a difficult task to control blood sugar in the desired normal range. Whatever we eat is metabolised to sugar in the body to provide energy for our daily activities. For the absolute control, one has to monitor his / her blood sugar at regular intervals (Self-Monitoring of Blood glucose – SMBG). Though difficult, this can be done by a glucometer and keep a record. Get an idea of Fasting sugar (FBS) and 2 hours after food (PPBS), & HbA1C (inform me) and check before dinner and after every major food. The basic idea is to reduce the food intake to 1/3 of what you take now. The dictum of sugar control is diet, exercise, diet + medicine and at later stage medicine+ Insulin will be needed. There are different diet plans of varying calories for each person depending on his activity & life style. For diabetes, hypertension (high BP) and many long-term illness control there is the need for regular advice and follow up. Just one time consultation or advice is not enough to guide a diabetic in scientifically & medically correct manner. For giving you regular follow up you ask me with all details like your daily eating pattern and medicines you take. I assure you a proper guidance. If you keep in touch personally. How sugar level can be controlled
Pls answer me
Does homeopathic medicine...
Yes homoeopathy med will help for sure. Without side effects. Eating jambola fruit (nerale) can help control sugar level. All other fruits you can take in limited quantity it doesn't control sugar but doesn't increase it. Anything tat you take in large quantity increases the sugar level.

Hello doctor. I have one very bad habit. Whenever I miss my ex bf I try to damage myself. Yesterday, I inserted comb inside my vagina. after that I took oath, I will never insert anything inside. But please tell me, what could happen. Does it will lead to infertility? I am very afraid. Please.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
If you have taken an oath never to repeat this behavior, we do not need to worry about the effects. Any way inserting anything into your vagina is very serious and may not only cause injury but will also introduce infection. I don?t know if you are aware but combs are loaded with bacteria! However you need to be concerned also about your reaction to the loss of your boyfriend: I think that the sexual association with him must have been pretty strong to cause you to indulge in this action. Also for some reason it seems that you could be angry with yourself for the breakup. However turning that anger towards yourself is capable of causing a lot of harm. You are still very young and have a long life ahead of you and will probably meet a lot of boys to choose from. So be patient and bide your time for the right guy to turn up. Anyway at your age there are a lot of things to do vis--vis your studies and building a good career. If you are well educated and have good career prospects you will become highly desirable to a lot of guys. So do not distract yourself at this age. Also this behavior does not augur well for your self-control or the lack of it. There may be some mitigating circumstances in your childhood that needs some attention. Do meet with a counselor and deal with them and make yourself a balanced person.
