I am suffering from hodgkin lymphoma and going through chemotherapy. Please give me some guidelines.
Generally the treatment of Hodgkin's Lymphoma is Chemotherapy for 4 to 6 cycles followed by Radiation if indicated. Chemotherapy is generally given once in every 2 weeks as day 1 and day 15 which forms 1 cycle. You will need to do PET CT in between to reassess the response to treatment. Please consult online for more information. Thanks.

Hi! Doctor my question is that my wife age is 32 and he wants to know that whether she can have injections for uterus to prevent any kind of uterus cancer in future. Is this the right age for that or not.
There is a vaccine to prevent cervix cancer, but the ideal age for taking it is 9 to 16 years. Skip vaccination can be given till 26. But in your case as age is 32, vaccination is probably not beneficial.

Found a bean shaped mass on the right side of the soft palate between two mucosal skins/linings. That mass is visible when I open my mouth wide open and use a flashlight. Also I feel something is always stuck in my throat. I do not know if that mass is a tonsil or anything else. google up the symptoms and as obvious it showed mouth cancer. Been greatly worried about this. There is no pain or anything. Just got out of a really long cough and cold phase which lasted a little over two weeks. With the above mentioned description please give me an idea of what could it be. Is it really cancer?
Get a opinion of ENT surgeon, as it may be associated with infection of throat, rarely it may be cancerous mass, it needs thorough clinical examination.

My dad is detected with cancer 3rd time he is now diagnosed and cancer is in d-12 area of back. The tumor is very small .Doctor has suggested radiation therapy. Is it safe. Let me mention already my dad's stomach has been removed because of cancer which was diagnosed before. My dad's age is 47 .Please suggest something.
As you have mentioned cancer has spread in D12 vertebra, Radiation therapy should be given to the spine. It will prevent possibility of fracture and also reduce the pain associated with disease. Radiation treatment is safe in this case.

I am a student of 12 class and my problem is I found some stone like hard material inside my breast it does not create any pain its size is approx 3 cm. What is this how can I cure this I am very about that? Is it take surgery?
The most common reason for this condition in your age group is fibroadenoma of breast. It is a benign - non cancerous tumor. Most of the time it does not require any treatment. Rarely there is a possibility of cancer. You should get breast examination done by oncologist.

Hi, My aunt is suffering from breast cancer (stage 3) and her age is 75 years. Cyto Pathology-FNAC report says, Cytological features are in favour of Ductal Hyperplasia with moderate atypia Cytology report: FNAc is positive for malignant cells, suggestive of mucinous carcinoma/mixed mucinous and invasive ductal carcinoma (NOS) Do we need to surgery? Considering her age is the surgery best option for her?
Before planning treatment we should consider her age and General health. If she is fit then for stage 3 there are two ways of treatment. We can go ahead with surgery if operable or we can give chemotherapy first to reduce tumor size and then do the surgery. She will need radiation therapy also for stage 3 disease.

I am 33 years old. Currently I am suffering from a breast cancer. I don't have child since last 4 years of marriage. I had taken treatment for it but failed. I have question that after recovering from cancer, Will I be able to take treatment for fertility.
As you don't have a child, there is a option of ovum preservation before starting chemotherapy. Many women experience menopause after chemotherapy, most of them start their normal menstrual cycle within 2 years and can have normal babies. Some might have permanent menopause. Recently there are some drugs given during chemotherapy which may reduce the effects of chemotherapy on ovaries and increase chances of pregnancy later on. Please consult Radiation oncologist from your city for further information. Hope this information is helpful.

Is multiple myeloma curable my father is 71 years old and has been detected of multiple myeloma he is been under going chemotherapy since april his 5th cycle is going on how many more chemo he has to take his reports as showing good response.
Multiple myeloma is a incurable but treatable disease. Means just like diabetes it can not be cured but we can keep it in control with chemotherapy. Number of chemotherapy cycles depends on type of chemotherapy regimen used and whether bone marrow transplant planned. Prognosis depends on various pathological factors and response to chemotherapy.

There are different types of blood cancer. Treatment is different for different cancers. As you have mentioned he was started on imatinib tablets he might be having CML (chronic myeloid leukemia).
